There are some characters where giving them therapy and cleaning them up is the fanfiction equivalent of buying antique furniture and painting it white

Aro culture is getting yourself attached to the accidentally aro coded character only to watch them get alloro'd by a relationship 💔

I was seriously considering putting all 300 contestants into a sims 4 world with full autonomy on for an 'mpreg-royale' of sorts (i.e. whoever gets knocked up first is the true winner), but then I realized what a pain in the ass trying to make Transformers sims would be. So far I've only found a TF mod for sims 2, so options are... limited.

“Is understanding that there are a million ways to be sexual (if one is sexual), and some of them live in phones, don’t ever involve genitals, happen once a year. Is understanding that all movement is movement, and counts, including when someone can only move three fingers and part of their forehead. All sex is sex.” ― Leah Lakshmi Piepzna-Samarasinha, Care Work: Dreaming Disability Justice (Affiliate link)

Note
aro writer culture is any romances you write must have these 3 things:
1) an aroace main side character
2) an aro plotline, either through one of the characters in the romance being arospec, or through the aro main side character instead being another main pov character
3) something about the romance going against amatonormativity, usually nonmonogamy and/or aroness

I only hate certain types of fic the same way I hate mosquitos and ticks. Like get these nasty little buggers away from me but also I respect their place in the ecosystem.
