We are a factory that creates/helps create different parts of systems! Whether that be a singular headmate, a group, a sisasystem, a headspace, a sentispace or something else! We can’t create entire systems themselves though, that’s up to you and your abilities in Willogenic practices!

We want to work alongside other blogs like this one and help the community! We want to help you fill out your system, and maybe even help other headmates to finish forming and grasp a sense of identity for systems that may or may not be interested in creation.

If we don’t know a lot about what you want, which we might not but will provide a list of things we are knowledgeable in, then we hope you will provide a bit of extra information! We will do most of the research ourselves though!

System culture is please shut the fuck up about feeling uncomfortable with entirely harmless things your source is doing. You are a factive, you cannot control what your source does.

Also, I get it, ya know? Being super connected to your source is one thing, but please don’t make *every.* *god.* *damn.* *conversation.* about your fucking system. I wanted to talk about one of my favorite YouTubers kissing another man on a live stream today and gush about how cute I thought it was. I wanted to be happy and talk about how it reminded me of being a kid/preteen in 2016 when male gaming youtubers just did stuff like that for fun.

I didn’t wanna talk about how fucking uncomfortable it made you that your source did something absolutely fucking harmless because it wasn’t with the person he’s with in your insys relationship. You killed my fucking mood, and are genuinely making me hate calling myself a system! Not everything is fucking about you!

Also, I don’t wanna even know how you’d react to me having the same fucking factive as you.

(PS: this is just an angry rant I’m sending here because I have absolutely no where else to put this and if I don’t put it somewhere I’m going to fucking say it to him and I don’t wanna get canceled because I don’t wanna have the only thing we talk about be his fucking system and that means I’m the fucking bad guy in his eyes. fictive culture is finding out your source (youtuber/streamer) is apparently a terrible abusive person, and knowing that you can't even introduce yourself by name anymore, because between that and your accent, anyone's sure to clock exactly who you are, and they're gonna think you're just as horrible as your source, even when you're nothing like that.

fictive culture is just... being tired of being a fictive sometimes.

We know who this is about and have a fictive and factive of the same man and it sucks so much. We hope the victim gets the support they need and that the abusers ex friends have each other through this and we hope all introjects fictive and factive alike love and wish for your safety and no one treats you like your source.

Here’s some positivity for introjects with “cringey” or often fakeclaimed sources!

It seems like those who don’t believe plurality exists are quick to latch on to a few specific sources in order to fakeclaim or denounce a system. Systems with introjects whose sources are from “cringey” people or media are often hounded by fakeclaimers and led to feel horrible about themselves and their system. However, those who fakeclaim in all honesty know very little about plurality. The truth is, fictives, factives, and other introjects can come from a wide variety of sources - there’s not one accepted list of sources where introjects can come from. So here’s to all the introjects out there with stereotypically “cringey” sources!

If your source is from a popular media, we want to remind you that there is nothing wrong with being who you are! Introjects can come from any source, and it makes sense that more systems will have introjects from popular sources! This includes popular YouTubers, Minecraft servers, and pieces of popular media that tend to get called “cringey” like Homestuck or Warrior Cats!

If your system has trauma-formed introjects, please remember that your body and mind had to do what it could to survive. We applaud you and your whole system for making it this far! Please don’t resent yourself or any member of your system for having a source that’s outside of your control! We hope that your whole system can find peace and self-acceptance, even those with “cringey” sources!

If your system has created introjects, walk-ins, soulbonds, or other headmates who did not form from trauma, know that there is nothing wrong with being yourself! It’s okay for your system to choose to create introjects from sources others tend to fakeclaim. It’s okay if you just showed up in your system one day and found that your source is considered “cringey!” Remember that you are so loved and cherished just the way you are!

In our eyes, not only is cringe dead, but it’s okay and even cool to be what others may consider “cringey!” It’s actually good to have fun and live your best life, to embrace yourself and your headmates and accept each other for who you are. You don’t have to change at all to be deserving of love, respect, and kindness! Your life is so valuable and you are so important just the way you are!

If anything, we hope each introject with a “cringey” source can learn to validate themselves from within, instead of seeking outside validation and approval in order to be happy. Please don’t let what others think of you or your source control the way you view yourself or your system! Regardless of your source, you are real, you have agency and autonomy in your life, and your voice deserves to be heard and taken seriously. Believing this fully for yourself will be much more beneficial than relying on hearing it from others! Validating yourself can make it easier to stand up to fakeclaimers, and to keep their words and accusations from having any negative effects on you or your system.

Know that, no matter what, we believe in you - we see you, we care about you, and we believe you are a vital and important part of the plural community, no matter where your source comes from! We hope that you can come to accept yourself, treat yourself and your system with kindness, and embrace yourself as you are, cringe and all! Thanks so much for reading, and have a lovely day!

i hate not being able to make friends in the real world, too many insecurities and most people just, don't know we exist.

so here's a little bit about us:

we are a did autistic system with suspected ocpd (think super organized perfectionist) our current headcount is 62 (wowza!)

outside the internet we are very boring, we work full time in a call centre (trying to get out but job market sucks yk) and we live with our fiancee so majority of our free time is spent hanging out with her. we frequently play games like bang dream and project sekai, read the occasional creepypasta, are super into writing lists of all the things we could buy in the future and we draw a lot.

cartoons and anime are something that mean a lot to us, yk how escapism be, and our special interest is my little pony. currently we are watching steven universe with our fiancee and it's great! we love it. we are very fictive and factive heavy (though are private about factives) not entirely sure why, ames like to say it's because our brain is lazy.

we are bodily 22, and to us gender literally doesn't exist. our host is a trans boy, but we have nonbinary and others and a bunch of other boys and girls - to the point where any conversation about gender is very confusing.

oh! and we tend to watch a lot of youtube. some of our all time favourites are Pixielocks, xCanadensis, Chuckle Sandwich, lulaloopsey, Vylet Pony, emilia fart, strawberry sprite, cybr.grl, Niki Nihachu, Dan and Phil + honestly so much more.

god. fucking. fuck, dude. sometimes i feel like faking being pro endo just to get some system support. i cannot handle living as a system alone, and im too embarrassed to talk to my other friends about it. endos will never see DID as anything other than friends in your head and its fucking sickening to me. i need a place to be able to talk to people who understand my fear of waking up after a blackout in a place i dont recognize. people who understand that my introjects have stand in exomemories that mimic our actual trauma. people who won't judge me for having dream smp introjects from 2020. people who aren't gonna judge me when i say that i love my persecutors. people who aren't gonna see my youtuber factives in an insys relationship and call it shipping. people who will treat my alters the way THEY want to be treated, whether they're separated from source or not.

yeah, I wouldn't recommend it. The endo community isn't any better from what I've heard. But I get the feeling. It's hard to find supportive people, whether they be anti endo or not. But I'm sure you'll find a community that doesn't judge you one day

Oh! It's a kind of Introject!

So, you know how in DID/OSDD systems (and other forms of plurality too but you probably haven't heard of those) there's like, multiple different identities in one body? Like, the brain splits off into different people?

So let's say you are part of a system and you watch a lot of TV, or read a lot of books. Maybe you're really into certain musicians or something, too.

Something that might happen is that, if you split a new alter in the future, you might get an alter who's HEAVILY based on one of these figures. You might get an alter who looks, sounds, and is generally based on your experience with a character from your favorite book series, or that musician you hyperfixated on and read a bunch of diary entries and magazines on, or maybe even your best friend. THOSE are introjects! They're alters that are heavily influenced by a specific thing.

That's not to say they won't have influences from other things, just that they got a LOT of a specific "source" incorporated into them.

Factive is just a TYPE of introject- it's a label that specifies that the source you pull from is from reality. These are the introjects of historical figures, or loved ones, or celebrities.

Fictives, by comparison, are introjects who's source is fictional. Movie and TV show characters, book characters, maybe a roleplay character from a previous Dungeons and Dragons campaign or someone from a fictional/story podcast.

Fuckitve is a label for people who's sources aren't exactly fictional OR real (maybe historical fiction, maybe they pull from both a real actor and a character they played in equal measure), and some people make more specific labels for their source genre, like oc-tive (a label specifically for introjects who formed from an OC)

I'm, as you know, a factive! And so is @septiccoffeefreak . When we were created, we were based on the YouTubers tommyinnit (me!!!) and jacksepticeye (Seàn). We're not exactly alike our sources or anything like that, but we came from our exposure to them.

In headspace (headspace is like an inner-world where alters can see and touch and talk to each other. Not all systems have them, but many do.) I sound like my source when I speak, and I look like him too, although I'm smaller than he is, and he sometimes cuts his hair shorter than mine. Seàn also sounds and looks like HIS source. It's also probably safe to assume that a lot of our personality traits are probably based on our perceptions of and experiences with our sources at the time we split, but I don't like to worry too much about where my personality traits come from; They're mine now, so it doesn't really matter!!

Some factives avoid their source, while some actively seek out exposure to their sources. Some factives feel really disconnected with their source, while others see their source as really important to them. It depends on the alter in question!

Me and Seán are far on the "likes interacting with and cares about source" side of the spectrum. We like watching our source's videos and we feel an emotional connection to them. I see my source almost like an alternate universe version of me, like metaphorically I'm Miles Morales and he's Peter Parker, and we're both spiderman. We're two different people but we're still both Tommyinnit, almost as if it was a species of creature. There's a kinship there.

That's basically all you need to know to understand the term and how it works for me and @septiccoffeefreak but I've made other posts about plurality too, and there's also a lot of blogs and stuff dedicated to it :3
