every time people who are physically abled try to make the argument that physically disabled people are taken more seriously and get more accommodations than mentally disabled people i remember the time when i had to beg for multiple years just to get any form of transportation i could use on my own (a bicycle, just a basic bicycle, since because of my leg problems it's medically unsafe for me to operate a motor vehicle) and then less than a year after i had finally gotten one it was decided without my input and against my will to sell it because everyone decided that they were tired of taking over the "responsibilities" for owning a BICYCLE even though i literally constantly insisted i would do it myself and i did not need or want help. and then proceeded to complain more when all of a sudden i had no ways to get to places like work or school.
#I've literally had a nurse look me dead in the eye and tell me 'no. you CAN walk' while i was IN THE ER FOR TEMPORARY PARALYSIS#i had literally been brought to the ER on one of those stretcher things because i suddenly collapsed and couldn't move#and this nurse proceeded to yell at me; drop me on the floor once; and fully just call security on me when i wouldn't stand on my own#because. you know. i couldn't feel my fucking legs.#it was in my medical records that this had happened to me multiple times since i was 15 btw#I've had periodic partial or complete loss of feeling in both of my legs since i was a kid and i still don't even have a diagnosis as to why#'taken more seriously' LMAO i had to buy my own wheelchair completely out of pocket because nobody thought i needed one#when i would need to be basically half carried to appointments most of the time#and would always tell them 'yea i physically cannot leave bed most days and can't live without constant support'#and yet i was told not a single doctor would sign my insurance letter letting them know i needed the wheelchair#so it was nearly 4000$ out of pocket that we STILL haven't paid off#and my wheelchair is already starting to show some mechanical issues so if that thing breaks anytime soon#it'll have to be another nearly 4000$ that i CANNOT AFFORD while my mother is also trying to scrape together the same amount#so that she can get some dentures because apparently having actually more than half of her teeth actively falling out or gone#is not enough for her to get any form of dental coverage when she needs it

Been simmering a bit on why the entire ‘trans men are BaD because all men are inherently bAd and eViL’ throws me back into a specific set of feelings I’ve rarely encountered in over two decades after getting away from the ultra conservative ultra religious fucking cult I was raised in, and then I realized why:
‘All men are evil’ is ‘Total Depravity’ but repackaged only for men. And further specific to trans men, it’s tied to our ‘fall from grace’ (womanhood) by ‘choosing’ manhood, and our ‘original sin’ isn’t choosing a bite of the forbidden fruit in the garden - it’s ‘choosing’ to be ourselves. It’s ‘choosing’ to be trans men. Its ‘choosing’ to bind, to dress masculine, to transition, etc. (Because gender identity isn’t a choice - unless you’re a filthy trans man then it totally is /sarcasm.)
Like ya bozos screaming this shit are so eyeball deep in trying to position men as the enemy and specifically trans men as ‘like the worst’ because gender traitors and ‘trans men are the real men of the community (meant derogatory at us)’ that you’re really starting to sound more and more like the religious conservative assholes that want us all dead.

#secret third option: maybe??? i don't know???#we exclusively date in-sys so either way it wouldn't be with an external person#although some of our factives are like. in the impossible chance some of their sources would want to date us#and they're specifically willing to have the hyperspecific kind of relationship we want overall#then they wouldn't be totally against it. it would mostly be absolutely hilarious for them actually#god ro would never be able to stop making jokes abt it if we were ever able to date ranboo that would be hysterical#and in terms of a potential external partner who is a fellow sys them having doubles of some of us wouldn't bother us#we had a previous relationship where we and our ex were both hyperfixated on the same stuff; both fictive heavy; both polyplural#so we literally had at least 40 of the same introjects it got really funny after a while#like that time we watched treasure planet together when they already had a jim fictive. and we finished the movie#and like. they went to make food while we went to another room#came back laughing our ass off bc it took 15 minutes flat for us to have a jim too#(and we found out he was there bc Bravery (the undertale orange soul) was trying to fistfight him LMAO she's so feisty)#but in terms of in-sys? most of us would say no#we have a lot of polycules in-sys where one person is dating two doubles of the same person#(*cough* sausage and martyn both collecting scotts and jimmys)#but to most of us we see our in-sys doubles as siblings and it feels too close to incest which we are. personally not into#though there actually is one pair of our scotts that might be a little more open to an auto type relationship#cause they feel more different and also they both are sort-of dating the same person (they're rats they don't define relationships)#its rlly funny actually so like. we have therapy rat (owen) who's with farmer rat (scott)#who's with carabiner rat (owen) who's with rainbow rat (scott) it's awesome its like a zigzag#the owens definitely don't want to have an auto- relationship they just don't vibe with it#but the scotts are more loose and care less abt it i guess? they are both open to the idea but neither seem to actively want to try it idk#but! feelings change and who knows what we'll look like in a year's time we'll probably have one in here eventually#we've accepted that there isn't a single thing we could ever say would never show up here bc we always end up wrong when we do#like even just saying 'we don't have any-' usually means one will pop up within the month#us saying 'we don't have any bigender folk in here' and then seeing Kacey the next week:#kacey is also so drastically different from her doubles (the owens) that he might be chill with it too idk#we were literally in this ramble about to say 'we don't have any incest relationships in-sys'#and then remembered the current likelihood of us introjecting a targaryen or two in the next month or so lmao

god doug rattmann's entire life is so unfortunate for a specifically schizophrenic man to go through like imagine an evil AI taking over your entire workplace and trapping and killing all of your coworkers except you, you eventually run out of your schizophrenia meds because you're trapped in the maintenance tunnels, the evil AI starts actively trying to convince you this is all a hallucination/delusion, then eventually you manage to put a plan into place that gets a girl to destroy the AI and you finally escape the facility only to find that in the time you were trapped down there aliens invaded earth and now most of humanity is extinct or enslaved. and on top of that the girl who saved your life got dragged back into the facility so you gotta go back inside to help her

had just a. wild all over the place dream last night
it had the structure of one of my horrible dreams abt hanging out with ex-friends again except these people were completely new creations from the dream so it actually ended well instead of in an argument Again (i mean i did have an argument with one of the guys but like. we actually solved the argument and made up pretty quickly which is not something I've experienced many times before! both in dreams and in real life!)
dean winchester was there for. some fucking reason. we climbed up the outside of a pedestrian bridge that went over some train tracks as a dare. in the rain too
at one point i was taking part in the lego batman movie. i was not a lego person myself but everyone else was
christian bale showed up at one point
eggman was also there at one point. he was less evil than usual. he had a blimp and we all had to jump out of it at one point and then like minecraft-rules landed safely in a small stream of water
we've apparently been having a recurring dream recently of being In Hermitcraft just as a part of a new season??? there's a gigantic building at spawn that looks like a giant tree that everyone builds shops and things in and also i live there in a little birdhouse. grian has been in the process of building a library for four separate dreams now (he actually makes a decent amount of progress each dream too??) and me and bdubs spend too much time Bothering the hell out of him. mythicalsausage is also there. xb has a little place in the shop tree that he's been doing a game in that involves Most of the server (i think it's like. people trying to collect as many unique miniblocks as they can?) and me and grian kept messing his counting up on purpose. we haven't watched hermitcraft in over a year and a half

#holy shit#like..... an actual real tangible CURE for diabetes??#i mean i kind of. figured that might happen in my lifetime#we live in the age of modern medicine after all#but like. surprised at how young i am when it happened??? I'm only in my 20s#also like.... if it's possible to cure something like diabetes#does this mean that like.. similar methods could be used for things like lactose intolerance#that's genuinely one of my only conditions I'm genuinely really wanting a permanent cure for#because like.. my ability to eat has become so restricted with all my food intolerances and everything#freeing up even just one food group would be a game changer for me#same with fructose if i could eat fruit and store-bought baked goods again without feeling awful i would cry /positive#news like this keeps making me reevaluate my current life expectancy#like for the longest time i was convinced i wouldn't make it past 20. then 30 for the last few years. now it's 40#but I'm thinking maybe 50 now. maybe longer. maybe we'll actually find better treatments for my conditions in the future
