I love this interaction. Because at this point will positively loathes Jack. He sees that he doesn’t care about him, about Elizabeth, that it’s all just for his own benefit. But then when Jack asks how he’s here, Will has to make a callback. Has to remind Jack and himself of how they had been. Of their inside jokes of their first meeting and job together. Of how they crafted a bond that Jack broke and made will sour. Idk what I’m trying to say but I love them.

The thing you don’t realize is that Jack had the option for immortality about three times and twice he sacrificed it, his dream, what he desired above all else, for Will and Elizabeth. The coins? He could’ve lived forever. Not a fulfilling life, but Jack fears death. He would have taken it. But he chose to throw the coin back, to save Elizabeth. When he had the heart of Davy Jones he could’ve stabbed it. Captained the Flying Dutchman and been immortal. But at the cost of wills life. And he wasn't willing to do that. So he gave it to Will to stab.

The only acceptable trans Tim headcanon would be Tim introducing himself to the batfam as a boy from the get-go with such confidence that no one questions him. Then, his first solo case as Robin is investigating the disappearance of Jack and Janet Drake's "daughter," so he pretends to have a twin sister by forging a bunch of documents and photoshopping family pictures. He then fabricates evidence of her death, committing multiple crimes in the process, and holds a fake funeral at the end. Because if his previous name is dead to him, he's gonna kill it the Tim Drake way
