#i kept... procrastinating........... sorry to everyone who gave me a character for taking so long....#my art #digital #worm #wormblr #i like.. most of these 👍#ive struggled a lot with my alec design but i think im finally starting to get somewhere with him #that specific emma is from arc 5. her dad mentions taylors moms death and taylor lashes out and emma cant help from smiling #so she leans forward on the desk and covers her mouth #the sleeper.... ok so his whole deal is intentionally vague in canon #because someone told wildbow he doesnt need to explain every single deatail about every cape that shows up #so i was able to do whatever the fuck #basically his power is visually described as a not-rainbow storm thats large enough to cover a good chunk of a large city #out of canon wildbow says the only capes whod be able to survive his storm would need to be indestructible or have an impenetrable mind #so i thought yo. i recently watched a video about a short scifi horror story about how certain fractals make people die from looking at the #and the only person who didnt die from seeing the worst one had trained himself by looking at less dangerous fractals #so.. there the sleeper is ig.. a vague figure in the center of a giant fractal mess #i didn't INTEND for aisha to be looking at alec but no harm no foul. its kinda cute #anyway i spent most the day finishing this and now i think i dont wanna draw digitally ever again?

HoO is so funny to me when you actually think about the ages of all the characters. Octavian is 18. Percy and Annabeth are 16, almost 17. Reyna is presumably 16. Frank just turned 16, Jason’s about to turn 16. Leo and Piper are like 15. Hazel’s like 14 and a half, and Nico is 13.

The Death Sibs are both the youngest and oldest on the Argo II. Octavian is a college freshman getting into petty drama with a bunch of high schoolers. He gets told to shut up at one point by a random 8th grader. Everyone is scared of the 8th grader. We Sent A 13 Year Old To Superhell and he came back weirder, Just Like Middle School. TLH was just three high school sophomores being sent to do a task and it going Exactly Like You’d Expect. Percy’s the only demigod on the ship who can legally drive (though Reyna gets her drivers license at some point before TOA). What Is Happening.

Mate it doesn't exactly come naturally ok. My agoraphobic ass is, by default, spectacularly off-putting, a terrible conversationalist and account of hating having to make conversations, and really abrasive because "why are you still talking" and "so can I stop the conversation like, now?" is always on the tip of my tongue and will jump out of my mouth if I don't clamp down on it.

I think some people naturally have people skills ? But also many just LEARN them, the way you learn any skill. And you can have good people skills without enjoying interacting with people. You can have decent people skills even when conversation and people still does not make sense. You can absolutely bullshit your way into people skills because a lot of it is surface-level interactions that are virtually always the same. Lots of books, workbooks and manuals today will breakdown how to hold a conversation in various environments - and learning how to do it, even if I don't enjoy it and it still makes very little sense to me why we do things that way and it is still stressful and I would much rather NOT do any of it is a LIFESAVER.

What I am saying is, treat "people skills" like "basic cooking skills" or "cleaning skills". It doesn't matter if you don't enjoy it, if you are not interested in digging deeper, if it doesn't come off naturally, if the result is not outstanding, whatever. You just need these basics to get by in life, and it will make your life so much more easier. Getting started in the hardest part, it's intimidating, and you are super aware that you do NOT have the skills that every seems to have. Cooking skills approach: start small, start somewhere, read about it, and go from there.

my sweet little baby man is no longer with us

#he had his bloodwork done yesterday and the vet said it was fine but he doesnt have much time left #and my bestie is a vet tech who wanted to see the lab results bc she always does and she looked at them #and asked me if she can shiw them to her boss today and i was like sure and immediately knew something was up #today keekki was being himself #then i went to run some errands and when i came back he was laying in front of the front door with his tiny baby head against it #and i was like ''oh ok one of his seizures?''#and theyre like. keekki will drool and not move and they usually last for like 20 minutes (several vets have no idea whats up with those #but it was probably either a kidney or a blood pressure thing)#anyways. it did not pass in 20 minutes so i Knew #i laid on the floor next to him #then my bff sent me a message asking me if i have the time to talk about keekki and its not good news #at this point i was about to call the vet anyways #and she was like ''ok i showed these to my boss (a vet) and she got super angry that ur vet even let you leave the clinic''#bc apparently keekkis bloodwork was so bad he should have been put down then and there but my vet was like a fresh half graduate #so i dont hold it against her. anyways i got an euthanasia appointment for this evening and spent the time before it laying on the couch #crying with keekki in my arms #i had to carry him bc he couldnt really walk without stumbling and falling down #when i had to get up to get his carrier and stuff ready he was taking a nap on the couch where i left him and i took this pic #anyways worst vet visit of my life i could hardly even do anything but nod half the time bc speaking results in me sobbing #anyways. this fucking sucks #i dont know how ill be able to sleep tonight #its been years since i last slept at home without having a little guy plop into my arms #i spent a long time with him in the vet room when he was gone #it feels surreal ive given him his last ever forehead kisses #as i left the room i told him bye the exact same way ive been saying bye to him for the last very many years ive had him #its always moikka keekki before i go to work or the store or literally anything #and that was my last moikka keekki #i hope he felt how loved he was #my dad is sending me older pics of me and keekki and he looks so happy in them. hes always right next to me #idk man im going to stop rambling now

Something about Liko thanking Rystal, Lucius, her grandmother and her mother for giving her the chance to meet Terapagos.. thanking them for being born in this world so she could meet Terapagos who led her to meeting her friends.

And Liko's team reflecting that theme of connections. Nyarote losing her friends in the past because she accidentally hurt them while trying to protect them who learned to slowly be close to others again. Tebrim who used to isolate herself from others as a Mibrim in fear of being overwhelmed by emotions who took a step forward and accepted Liko's extended hand thanks to Nyahoja. Terapagos who lost Rystal and who's been bonding with Liko and her Pokemon from the beginning of the series has a home to return to. There is just something tender about all of them finding each other, as if they were saying "you don't have to be alone."

#terapagos has been liko's pkmn in everything but pokeball for a while now but it's nice that this specific moment happened #rystal giving her blessing to liko and terapagos dealing with grief first before fully accepting liko as a partner #thinking about how ann told liko that her and terapagos looked great together in ep 54.. so cute #the whole moment was really good.. liko thanking her family for being born basically #and liko attributes her adventures and meeting with her friends to the pendant (terapagos)#so she is probably thankful to terapagos for leading her to the rvt #liko's team being full of pkmn who were lonely and isolated and who find a home with each other is so tender. i care them #i still wonder if terapagos could end up back in a dormant state at the end of the show..#nyarote already had to deal with friends abandoning her in the past so i don't want her to lose someone again #esp since she cares so much about terapagos.. but we'll see #liko #nyarote #hz075 #character notes #episode notes

Official 2 weeks at my job today. Cried already lol.

#my team lead is off today and so the manager has been apparently checking by the minute what I’m doing #it’s my 2nd day working from home and I’m still having IT hiccups and I’m finding it difficult to get into a good flow cause I’m not used to #working at home rn and I have distractions I need to get used to ignoring #and the manager called me and I felt really accused and guilty while I’m still trying to find my feet #only yesterday I told my team lead how I felt really welcomed and I told her I used to have really bad anxiety but I haven’t had any #while starting working here #bc it’s good for ur mangers to know that shit and to know they’re doing a good job #then the manger goes and does this to me ONE DAY AFTER lol #hope she knows she’s fucked me off in under 2 weeks for me to start looking for another job #it’s been 2 fucking weeks I’m not carrying on in a place that makes their new hires who are still getting used to everything feel guilty for #nothing
