I think something that has been really helpful for me is thinking of the weight I have to lose as the number of calories I have to cut, instead of as pounds I need to lose.
so like, as of today, I need to lose 58 pounds. at 3500 calories in a pound of fat, that means I need to cut 203000 calories. that's a big number, but at least to me, it feels easier to chip away at then 58 pounds, because its a lot closer to the actions I need to take then pounds are.
like, to chip away at calories, I can get some steps in, or leave some salad dressing of the salad, or drink my coffee without cream, or exercise more, or any number of things. and at the end of the day, I can knock that number off my total calories to lose, and see the number get smaller. the scale is unpredictable, and you not going to be able to see any change that's less then like .2 pounds. but using a calorie number, I can see all the little changes that add up much easier. and the little changes are the important ones, because those are the ones that become habits.
it almost hits the same feeling a clicker game. I think you probably could make this a clicker game.

How to make use of 24 hours to create a planned and ideal body…
Set a fixed time to wake up in the morning
Tumblr media
The sympathetic nervous system, which is involved in daytime activities, starts to become active around 4:00 in the morning, and increases in activity from the time you wake up. After reaching its peak during the day, its activity declines from evening to night, and instead the parasympathetic nervous system begins to activate for rest. When these two nerves work in a well-balanced , your metabolism will increase and you will be able to lose weight easily.
■ Exercise while commuting
If you are on a diet, don't hesitate to walk from your house to the station! If you are confident in your physical strength and are energetic, you can walk as much as one station. Even small habits like taking the stairs instead of the escalator can add up to a lot of dust! You can earn a lot of steps and energy consumption just by being conscious.
In addition, try to stand as much as possible in train and bus transportation. While waiting for a train on the platform or when holding on to a strap, try to stand with the awareness of training your balance to strengthen your inner muscles and help burn them.
■ Eat snacks wisely
If you have a lifestyle where there is more than 7-8 hours between lunch and dinner, it is better to incorporate snacks. If there is too much space between meals, it is easy to overeat and eat quickly at the next meal.
If you know that you will be late for dinner, eat about one rice ball in the evening, and then eat salad, soup, or tofu at dinner to make it harder for you to gain weight.
■ Control by diligent self-catering
It can't be helped that there are many opportunities to eat out at work or in private, but it is also important to control so that you have time to cook for yourself if you continue to eat out.
When cooking for yourself, make the most of the taste of the ingredients and use less salt and oil. Also, make sure that vegetables are the main dish and that the main dish is high in protein and low in fat. It is also important to finish dinner at least 3 hours before bedtime.
■ Take care of your sleep
If you use your computer or smartphone beg to bed, it will disturb your sleep. When bright lights at night or light from OA equipment enters the retina, even for a short period of time, the secretion of the hormone melatonin, which controls sleep, is suppressed. At the very least, it's important to start getting ready for bed by spending at least one hour before going to bed under indirect lighting.
Depending on how well you sleep, you will be able to consume energy during the day and get a good rest at night. and help burn them. will increase and you will be able to lose weight easily.

What I ate today as a college student
Food Diary:
Current Weight: fat... I am afraid to look at the scale
Honey Bun 500 cals
Beijing Beef, mushroom chicken with noodles 1,200 cals
Community Coffee: 100 cals
Total: 1,800 cals
Now that I am looking at what I eat, I am noticing that I should stray from the vending machines definitely.
I had much better control today I noticed
I passed by Starbucks a few minutes ago and I PASSED it!
I am thinking about fasting for 20 or 16 hours a day too so I will see how that goes!
I work in a bakery in the mornings so I am going to struggle big time, ughhhh

Top 7 Vitamins and Supplements Recommended by Dietitians: What Does Your Body Really Need?
Many of us wonder: which vitamins and supplements are truly necessary for maintaining good health? The market for dietary supplements offers a vast variety, but how do we choose what's truly essential? In this article, we'll explore the top 7 most important vitamins and supplements that, according to dietitians, can benefit our bodies.
Why Are Vitamins and Supplements Important?
Vitamins and minerals are the building blocks of our bodies. They participate in all metabolic processes, support the immune system, improve mood, and boost energy levels. However, we don't always get all the necessary nutrients from food. In such cases, vitamin and mineral complexes come to the rescue.
Top 7 Vitamins and Supplements Recommended by Dietitians:
Vitamin D: Crucial for bone health, immune system function, and overall well-being. Deficiency can lead to rickets in children and osteoporosis in adults. Sunlight is the primary source, but supplements are recommended during winter or with insufficient sun exposure. Omega-3 Fatty Acids: These polyunsaturated fats play a vital role in brain, heart, and joint health. They help lower cholesterol, prevent inflammation, and improve mood.
Vitamin B12: Essential for red blood cell formation, nervous system function, and metabolism. Deficiency can cause anemia, fatigue, and memory problems.
Magnesium: This mineral participates in over 300 biochemical reactions in the body, aiding muscle relaxation, sleep improvement, stress reduction, and maintaining healthy blood pressure.
Probiotics: Live bacteria that benefit the gut microbiome. Probiotics help improve digestion, strengthen the immune system, and prevent various diseases.
Vitamin C: A powerful antioxidant that protects cells from damage, strengthens the immune system, and aids in wound healing.
Zinc: Necessary for normal growth and development, immune system function, wound healing, and protein synthesis.
Absolutely, here is the article in English:
