🍰 A bit about myself 🍓
To be honest with you all i was 220lbs back in 2019 and lost all of it by ⭐️ing myself all day (sometimes multiple days) and my lowest weight was 145 but im back up to 160 ever since i got into a relationship :( im trying to be back to at least 145 but my ultimate goal is 135 without gaining it back and hoping to maybe even try to go back to eating normally and healthy (slowly ofc so i dont gain it again 😶) after i lose it. I like to go to the gym and have also been trying to tone myself up a bit. When I’m not at the gym I’m usually watching tv, reading, sleeping, playing video games, or playing with my recent gsd puppy ❤️. Im looking to slim down some excess fat a little bit everywhere and hopefully maintain at least some of the muscle ive gotten over the past few months. It finally hit me how much weight I’ve gained back since my Lw once i hit 160 and decided i need to change. Doing it the right way never worked for me because no matter what i did i wouldn’t lose the weight quick enough and it was nearly impossible due to my past with 4na. Im hoping to be back to about 145 by the end of the year.

24 hour fast made easy!!!

first 2 hours: don't eat nor drink anything!!! it should be easy bc you've eaten recently so there is no glucose demand in your body.
2-5 hours: try to drink at least 1 ltr of water. hunger can appear but you must stay strong!! this period is the best to do your workout.
5-8 hours: hunger is increasing. help yourself to some gum or coke zero. if you're doing a water fast then drink some more water!!
8-12 hours: this period is where hunger is at its highest point! i recommend you plan out your fast so that you're asleep during this period (which is also good bc atp you get a bit more tired).
12-18 hours: hunger should be decreasing. this is the start of the burning fat period!!! drink some more water and keep going.
18-24 hours: this is the best part. you should no longer be hungry + your body is at its highest burning fat period. you might sense a metallic taste in your mouth. your breath might start to smell a bit funky so maybe brush your teeth.
if you want to keep going...
24-48 hours: this is the period where your body gets rid of all the damaged cells and proteins which actually promotes the efficiency of your immunitary system!!! you might get some headaches or feel lightheaded. drink water + help yourself to some gum or coke zero throughout the day.
48-54 hours: this is a great period to do some workouts but stay away from cardio. i usually do some pilates.
54-72 hours: magic happens!!! the sugar levels in your blood will estabilise, which means you'll be less hungry and crave less sugar from now on!!! this is the perfect place to stop and eat something, i always end my fast atp.
extra stuff that helps me:
- it's normal to feel hungry throughout the fast, especially if you're used to eating as entertainment. try to distract yourself.
- also don't worry about it being too unhealthy. there is a bunch of religions that do loooong fasts + it has been scientifically proven that fasts can improve your general health.
- of course there's limits to everything, and despite this being a pro ed but not sheeran blog, i must advertise against very prolonged fasts. mainly bc you burn more fat if you eat something in between as your body repeats the process i mentioned before.
