So I’m rewatching Punk Hazard. I only cherry picked episodes before on my way to Dressrosa (I couldn’t wait to properly meet my man in his own kingdom, okay? 😅)
But I’m at the part where Brownbeard is exposition dumping on the Straw Hats as far as the destruction of Punk Hazard four years ago by “Vegapunk” (Brownbeard is still heavy on that Caesar koolaid here).

Marisol Coxi was one of those Monster High dolls I really wanted when I was little but never ended up getting, so I think it would be awesome if she got brought back for G3! Going off that I thought I’d try designing her a G3 look! I actually love how it turned out, I wanted to keep her colour scheme and aspects of her original design (like the hair and the shoes) but also looked up some Peruvian clothes for her since she’s from Monster Pichu!

#(FROM PROJECTS)#personal#the engineering chronicles#WILL HOPEFULLY NEVER NEED TO SLEEP THREE NIGHTS ON THE FLOOR OF THE ENGINEERING BUILDING AGAIN!!!#one class the final project was to build a karaoke machine which my partner and i had planned on making look like actual speakers and#microphone but we couldn’t find the stuff in time and her mom made a joke abt singing into hairbrushes and we decided to take that and#run lol we used a pink sparkly makeup box to store our circuit and cut out holes for the speakers and decorated it with makeup and put the#hairbrush mics inside and it was very fun actually and our class voted us as one of the groups to go to project day which was pretty cool!!#project day did get canceled bc of. asnow day which was unfortunate especially considering we stayed up until 4am the night before#preparing our documents for it and trying to perfect the karaoke machine when we could have been putting that time toward project number#2 😐 but whatever we still get our extra credit and i can say i qualified for it so im happy enough#then project 2 was for another class but we’re lab partners in both (+ another guy for this project) and it was digital monster pet so we#made a dragon i was mostly on design so i hand CADed the whole thing which was living hell if i never want to lay eyes on solidworks#again but also he came out very cute after MUCH hasle putting him together with all the wires and components bc our wires from the kit are#so bad they’re constantly getting disconnected from each other which we didn’t know would happen bc the labs we usually do we don’t have to#connect them together like that since you’re not routing them thru bodies etc and they’ve worked great until now but anywya.#i did the lcd faces and the light sensor and a couple other things + a lot of the code was copy and paste from past labs and fitting it to#suit the project but for the most part it was a shit ton of hardware on my end while she and the other guy managed the rest of the code#which i really wish i could have been more involved with but oh well. as it is though he’s my baby i birthed him <3 we’re planning on#meeting up over weekends next semester to change some stuff and add other extra features that we missed we got a decent grade 85% but we#all agreed we don’t want to leave him like this we want to add the extra features we had come up with and also i think we should switch out#our motors for servos bc the motors we were required to use#instead suck they’re not strong at all compared to what a servo can do for you. also we want to make it so you can not only pet him which w#already have with light sensors but also wash him with a Hall effect sensor and magnet so like we’d stick the sensor inside and the magnet#inside a little cad brush or sponge is what im envisioning and i have an expression in mind for what we’d do then. also paint him and#redesign the platform he stands on bc it’s rlly cramped and also make a pcb bc we only have him with the microcontroller and breadboards rn#and i might mess with his face piece a bit too im not sure. oh and speakers!!! those were technically a requirement but we didn’t get them#done on time but i want to make him play music sooooo bad so definitely that. anyway want to be more involved in the software when we do#all this. pretty excited actually :]

God I hate national broadcasts so much.
What I want from national broadcasts? The same kind of energy when I was at the wild game. Just a Little avs fan hanging out with a season ticket holder seated next to me. We shared things about our teams that the other person didn’t know and were nice and complimentary to the other team. That’s what I want. None of this “this team was spanked last night” or “I don’t know if I’d have confidence in Georgie about the west” nonsense that tnt’s been spouting.

Oliver is having a rough time. I’m so upset. He was doing so well and then last night and today he’s had a lot of issues. I’m so worried bc he’s probably going to need surgery and he’s so old. Plus my vet is out of town, of course.
#called to see if they can prescribe pain meds#i am beside myself#i thought we’d be able to get his stones down with food#but it doesn’t look like that’s happening#and what sucks so much is his arthritis is much better#bc he is on solensia#and they thought it might help with his bladder pain too and at first it seemed like it did#and his thyroid is better#like . . .#why does everything have to happen to my cats#between this and lk’s heart murmur#i’m so stressed and worried#plus i didn’t realize some cats have to be put down bc of them#like where the fuck did these come from he’s never had urinary issues ever#fuck this really sucks y’all

Clown makeup fully applied, if hypothetically byler was endgame and there are a few really incriminating scenes of Mike and Will alone in s5 to be had, leading up to that revelation… the skeleton crew filming with Noah and Finn alone for the first couple weeks of filming does sound like something they could do… Otherwise, if they filmed those scenes sporadically all throughout s5 production, random PA’s leaking it would be likely (end of s4 cabin scene leak teas). However, doing a few of their most incriminating scenes alone before most of the casual production are even there: no leaks…

I am scheming something delightfully fun in the way of homebrew oneshots
#for context. me and my mom moved back in august. we’re still working on gettinf the house together and decorating it. and its taking a while#bc she works a lot bc financial strain of new house and divorcing her shitty ex husband and im in college so im not home very much#but we have a designated game room bc we’re avid ttrpg players#and we’re planning on putting in stalagtites and making it look like a cave#and last night we were talking abt how we’d do sessions using the backyard since the gameroom has a door to outside#and talking abt making d20s in little plastic boxes so you could roll for combat + stuff by just shaking the box#and having little compartments in the staligtites for them or for game props and notes#and i started spitballing some way to do like an improv murder mystery with having game notes for the players in thsoe compartments#and their like. character roles/archetypes randomly assigned by where they sit#and then have a whole oneshot game of clue where each of the players have like a stack of cards they can play to get revelations from the dm#or flashbacks to scenes that the characters have to play out (the victim fighting with one of the suspects in the kitchen or smth)#and have branching paths with multiple outcomes#and they have to come back to the game room to make accusations and then the accused can play an alibi card or smth!!!#i guess i could also do that before the game room is completely finished since we’d be all over the house and yard#itd be so fun tho. plans for when im off for the summer or after i finish my degree#sev rambles

#okay i’m gonna try to keep this short and sweet. 30 tag maximum you are my nemesis lol#my main issue here is not necessarily that the karaoke and other bach party scenes have likely been cut#it’s more that they’re clearly buddie baiting for engagement#journalists were watching the episode as early as saturday. which means the ep was ready by at least this time last week#so they knew that the scenes had been cut. and they chose to continue including it in promotion and interviews#i KNOW that logically the reason they chose those scenes to cut was because they’re less important. and we’d already seen them#they technically already gave us the clips in the promo videos. right? so bye bye#but that’s bullshit. sorry#they used buddie best friendism content as a way to promote the ep and increase hype#and then they just pull it out from under us the day before it airs#this is a madney episode. madney are getting married. buddie having fun is not the most important thing here. i get it#so why did they not promote something else? you’re telling me there was NOTHING ELSE they could’ve used?#nothing else from the episode that was free of big spoilers? at all???#it’s madney’s episode but they chose to promote one clip of buddie talking to maddie. one of chim crawling. and the bach party stuff#they must know that people would focus on the bach party. buddie is beloved buck and eddie are beloved#what were they expecting??#they used buddie as a pairing as bait. not queer bait and not even ship bait i suppose as there was nothing ‘shippy’ shown#but they baited buddie content. that’s literally what’s happened#i would be more understanding if this wasn’t a regular occurrence. it’s normal sure. shows do this all the time with fan faves#but also it is a false reflection of the episode. even journalists are saying the episode is not what they expected from the promo#it honestly feels like they’ve made fools of us. maybe the episode will air and it’ll be better than expected#but i don’t have much hope not much hope for buddie. not much hope for madney getting what they deserve. Fourth Wing by Rebecca Yarros is literal hot garbage and I will die on this hill.
