to me, tim and duke occupy a similar position in the batfamily where they're clearly not (or previously weren't, in tim's case) bruce's sons but also clearly have a connection to bruce's children that separates them from barb, steph, helena, jean paul, etc. none of the latter three are dick's siblings, but tim nearly always has been, and then he's cass' too. even if he hadn't been adopted, this would be true. duke is jason's brother, and is implied to have a sibling relationship with cass and damian, and has even shown up in tim's picture of his brothers. this is not changed by the fact that duke should never be adopted.

I do find it slightly annoying that when looking at the pjo tag or any related tag, it’s mostly filled with pjotv posts that I don’t particularly vibe with on account of me not liking the show. Like I want to see pjo content that has to do with the books, not whatever pjotv was. Obviously there’s no hate for the pjotv posts, it’s just a minor annoyance having to wade through posts that aren’t relevant to the subject matter I’m interested in

crucial part of my perception of derek hale is that little old ladies LOVE HIM. they call him darling and sweetie even when he's at his most angst-filled "i am having such a bad day and i WILL be a little bitch about it" kind of moods. at any given time he has at least 3 invites to various book clubs. multiple people have offered to set him up with their granddaughters. anytime he's within a certain radius of a little old woman he ends up getting invited to drink rose and knit with them. at some point he ends up taking one of them up on it and now sometimes he'll walk down the street and muriel from book club will wave at him and go "lovely to see you, derek! i hope you'll be able to make it this thursday, margaret baked scones!"
