The whole "breasts shouldn't be politicized because the primary purpose of breasts is to feed babies!" can be a fine jumping-off point, but I really wish people thought deeper than that when we talk about the ways in which bodies are politicized and restricted.

Like, why's it that when we talk about breasts, they must have some Higher Purpose? It's true that breasts aren't inherently sexual, but they aren't valuable solely because they can potentially feed a baby. A human body doesn't have to serve a Higher Purpose in order for it to not be legislated against or policed, and I just wish people would remember it isn't always about babies, about other people, about anything else other than the people who have that body.

This show ended like two months ago, but I still cry laughing at Win's boss saying he doesn't understand how Ton Kla learned all the details of his brother's case while he stands there looking dumb as hell like🧍🧍🧍. It's right up there to me with him giving the order to raid Ton Kla's house while standing outside like he ain't have a key since he was whole ass LIVING in that house and all up in that man.

Truly Win was the most "things just keep happening around me, I don't know why" character of all time.

the ripple effect this would have. yasuhiro cant strongarm him on anything anymore because he's gotta reach UP. kyoko and byakuya competing for pillow rights and forcing naegi to be the big spoon now god damn it. in the comic itself its asahina who has a doki doki moment seeing naegi just pick up a random stick and fight a fucking bear so now togami has a reason to watch his back even more. touko remains pretty much the same but the more NPA (naegi per area) of his hugs can just Fix Her now. all of these are objective net positives but it would still ruin naegis life because now people want him Even More and he was ok with just 77% affection meter

you know what, I actually will talk about this because it's bothering me. The issue with focussing so heavily on syd and carmy's potential for a romantic relationship isn't that there's something inherently unintellectual about romance or whatever, it's that a lot of people seem incapable of doing that without immediately flattening the story and ignoring or intentionally misreading any and all nuance for the sake of that romance. Every scene suddenly becomes about how it impacts their relationship, every analysis is done through a romantic lens, every frame or line of dialogue becomes about finding some easter egg or hint that "proves" these people should start dating. Their dynamic is absolutely a fundamental part of this show, but if you can only see it as a will-they-won't-they, you miss so much of what the story is actually trying to say with these two.

There are good versions of this story where their relationship is romantic and there are good versions of this story where it isn't, but as soon as you decide them being together is "the point," you lose the ability to actually judge the story for what it is, not what you want it to be.

Like, the first shot in the second scene is of Carmy's hands, he is sitting there thinking, thinking about Sydney, thinking about the restaurant until Claire comes all in panties and a shirt. Sydney is in the restaurant they were supposed to create together, and he is somewhere else. If anything the whole restaurant building fiasco on Carmy's part may serve as a way to symbolize how he is not ready to build anything with anyone, not when the love was an excuse to run away from his trauma, and the trauma itself made it all crash down even with the most people pleaser/complaiant person in the whole world. Claire was a test herself.

I also like how the scene tries to be all love-giving/love-seeking and yet manages to express the disconnection beetween Claire and Carmy. He is thinking about the test, and so is Sydney, and his mind is connected to Sydney's, right at that moment, their telepathy is in full effect. Claire can provide everything she ever had to offer: compliance, and yet Carmy's connection to Sydney is winning when she is not even in the room. Fuck off.

Jesus Christ, you can discover layers and layers in this scene, someone needs to do a course on film school using this show.

One thing im not too proud on was the ending part, I was kinda struggling on what to put there so i kinda went with the “Happiest Day” ending. I know it isnt the ending for FNAF 4 but just to clarify, this au isnt really all similar to the original fnaf lore, sooo ya.
