i Do Not Trust people who make Mary the bad guy in their stories when the show went out of its way to specifically show us how she was suffering just as much as stede was in their marriage and that shes, yknow, a good person

#fnafhs #trans headcanon #I think onnie is definitely some type of genderfluid but doesn't realize it because he's not very introspective #and he does feel male most of the time. so he's like ''yeah I'm a guy'' and brushes of times when he doesn't feel like a guy #he plays it off. of course he wants to look androgynous sometimes. it's just a fashion thing- nothing else #maybe sometimes he likes it that people confuse him with a girl because of his long hair but that obviously has no deeper meaning #no need to think about it no sir #I do however think he does especially notice when he's feeling very fem and it's... awkward for him #because wanting people to call you by she/her and wanting to be seen as a girl it's uh. not usual cis guy behavior #but I don't think he feels like that particularly often so he feels caught off guard when it happens and confuses him #he doesn't understand much about trans stuff. just the very basics #so he's like ''if I was trans I would want to be a girl all the time. vut I don't. but I do sometimes. so???''#(bro doesn't know what nonbinary or genderfluid means rip)#he'll figure it out- eventually #but even then he's not like... too sure about what to do #he tells the nightmares and they use whatever pronouns he wants when he wants them and that's kind of that #nobody else knows tho. he's got too many trust issues to be telling people things like that

#mp100 #mp100 fanfic #serirei #ant talks #spoilers for the fic but #basically reigen gets depressed as hell and drinks a lot #passes out. when he wakes up he is in an alternate world where he has everything he ever wanted #married to serizawa. has a child. money. ya know the joke thing #then he finds out that he gained it all via corrupt methods (causing more haunting s everywhere so there is more to exercise)#and it bites him in the ass and his daughter dies his husband dies everyone he loves dies #then OH SHIT it was a dream (kind of?) and in reality reigen is basically almost dead due to alcohol poisoning #and the whole thing was like his consciousness being like do you want to live? and stuff #and there was guilt and self loathing and an intense need for love and confrontation wit himself and all the things he loved and it was #SO GOOD #and after all the confrontation he decides he wants to live and he fights #and while that's happening serizawa and dimple and trying their damn hardest to keep this man from dying since they found his body #reigen survives. every is like WHAT THE HELL?? and he is like guys. it was a sadness accident #but it's written a lot better then that #and serizawa and Reigen kind of?? get together I mean they do but serizawa is pissed about the whole reigen almost dying thing #and it ends with serizawa asking reigen who that young girl he saw in reigens dream was and reigen is like uh #and ITS SLOOO GOOD I CANT DESCRIBE IT IT IS SO GOOD. Regarding the previous post, I think the way I approach trying to evaluate a piece of art is asking "Do I think the positive things I get out of it outweigh the parts of it that I don't like?" And when I call something a "guilty pleasure" song/show/book/piece of media/etc. it's really more in the sense of, "Given who I am as a person, the flaws I've found in this should be complete dealbreakers for me, but somehow they aren't, and it makes me feel like I'm having an identity crisis."

#like. I think something like...idk shiki or cxgf excels on multiple levels. I understand why I like them. given the things I look for in art #it makes sense that these shows would speak to me because they make the effort to showcase those things I look for. because the people #in charge of those works clearly valued the same kinds of things and cared about seriously exploring them.#but with something like. uh. ctrlz. that is NOT the case and I frequently found myself going 'why would anyone make this writing #decision?' but I still sat through all 3 seasons of it! I still really enjoyed it! those flaws SHOULD have made me give up according to #personal history but they never did. and I very very much genuinely question why. I have NO IDEA why I still care about this #silly convoluted teen drama show so much. but I do. I wrote SO MANY FUCKING POSTS ABOUT IT.#I really love wicked the musical. I've heard many people call it 'hokey' or 'cheesy' or 'objectively bad' but here's the thing! I DON'T #think it's bad!!! like literally at all!!!!!! and it does do some genuinely cool things in regard to the music and the way the characters #develop and what the show says about the nature of prejudice and human connection. is it like. idk Serious™ the way that something like #Parade is? no. but it doesn't have to be. it does what it sets out to do and it does it well and this is why the whole '''objective #evaluation''' thing doesn't actually mean anything. I value thoughtfully-constructed music and dynamic female characters #(which this musical has). I value stories that deal with the complex and messy feelings that come with being a human (which this musical #has). I value stories about 'other'ness and romantic subplots that aren't just built on 'This Girl Is Pretty' (which this musical has).#and I value professional displays of technical vocal ability because I know how fucking DIFFICULT that is (which this musical...if you cast #it well...has).#if you value something else in a musical then yeah you will probably think THIS one is '''objectively bad'''#if you don't see the point of musicals as an art form you will probably think wicked is '''objectively bad'''#do you see where the problem with categorizing analysis like this is??
