She heads back to the Living Room, passing by your sleeping figure as she looks up at the suit of armor just proudly being put up for display.

It was actually your suggestion since you used to collect those little action figures... what were they called? Ka... kame... whatever, she thought that that was just... so cute.

Grabbing one of its arms she slides it in her right arm, getting a feel of it as she heads back to the kitchen. Shortly after that she thoroughly washes the chicken before placing it on a tray in middle of the kitchen.

"Here goes nothing..."

Taking a couple steps back, Firefly extends her arm out, fire emitting from the palm of her hand as it spews out like a flamethrower, gently roasting the chicken.

She walks around, making sure all sides of it are roasted before deactivating the arm.

"Phew..."

She gently grabs the tray with the help of her robotic arm, using her left hand to grab a plate as she sets it down.

Placing the tray by the sink she opens the rice cooker, steam erupting out of it as she blows it away.

"Aw... one step ahead, huh?"

Thankfully, she didn't to cook anymore since you already did it beforehand, how thoughtful of you.

"Now... time for our main guest..."

Taking off the arm she heads her way to the couch, raising your head so it can lay on her lap.

She fiddles with your hair, ruffling it up as your eyes flutter open.

"Mmh..."

You look up at the smiling face of your girlfriend, raising your hand as she brings it up to her cheek.

"Missed me?"

"Very..."

A moment of silence ensued, the both of you lovingly looking at each other.

"I made... rice before I slept."

"Mhm! Good job...!"

A smile crept to your face when she said that.

"And since you kept muttering about chicken I... I made some!"

"Did you now?"

You sit up, sniffling the air as you face towards the Kitchen.

Your hand was still cupping her cheek while she looked at you.

"Ooh... that's definitely some good chicken..."

"Well, let's eat then-

You plop down, earning a confused look from Firefly.

"Eh?"

"Let's... stay like this... for a bit."

Firelfy sighs, patting your head while you close your eyes shut.

"You'll end up turning intoa koala by this point..."

"Mhm... and a cute one at that..."

"...fair."

Eventually, tiredness would loom over Firefly as she eventually lays on top of you, holding you close.

When it comes to cultures I don't have authority to speak on it, as I'm not a part of that said culture. But I also have my own culture and religion so whenever some caricatures try to silence people of that culture who are trying to speak out about it, I would get pissed too. I'd imagine if a company took my culture & religion and poorly represented the people of my culture, honestly anyone would get angry at this. So please, continue to raise your voices to this unfairness they have shown. It will not be a waste, educating is never a waste.

It's very unlikely that a multimillion dollar company doesn't have access so much as Google. What happened to thorough research? What happened to asking something you're unsure of? What happened to TRYING???

But one thing I can speak on is regarding skin diversity as I am of a person of color myself. Whitewashing especially really makes me angry because why is it that hard to remain true to the original skin color huh? Artists who don't have much resources as a big company such as hoyoverse, I've seen better redesigns than any of the atrocities of natlan characters. And also why only the proper representation is the enemies or even npcs hmm?? Are you trying to tell us something? Bro the brown playable characters are literally so much whiter than me 😭

Fun fact, I continued playing genshin because of kaeya (I fell in love with his character and story) but just to be set aside the whole time despite having such an important backstory. The reason I'm even motivated to play genshin is expecting more from his character but hoyo said ✨noh✨ a lot of people pointed this out; why is it only the brown playable characters have shitty kits or not that good meta wise 🧐

Hoyoverse.. you are catering to a global audience, is it that hard to respect people's cultures that you took inspiration from? I'm telling you, at this moment you'll lose a lot of players and don't think just because you have other games that you'll be fine. Synopsis: HCs of Shidou Kirisaki treating reader like a princess (Looking after/ taking care of reader), both platonic and romantic. Word Count: 868 Genre: Hurt/Comfort Reader: GN (no pronouns mentioned), Prisoner in MILGRAM Spoilers/Warnings?: Mention of Shidou wanting to 'die'. Also not really what the request wanted it to be? (reader being treated like princess) but I tried my best to make it work with the other ideas I had while writing for this, so hopefully this isn't an issue! If it is, I'll find the time to rewrite this properly.

a/n: Omg first request hi!!! I wasn't sure what writing format you wanted so I decided to do some small HCs instead, and made the reader GN + a prisoner too ⎯ also wasn't sure if you meant platonically or romantically, so i just went with both!! And as for my opinion on Shidou ??🧐 Hmm, I do find him interesting just like the rest but I'm not too deep on knowing his character? Other than his murder and how he wants the guilty verdict. But if you're wondering if I see him as innocent, then yes I do ⎯ since theres obvious guilt he has for actions, I do believe he can be forgiven and given a second chance in life after MILGRAM... But I do wonder if he's faking it tho?? Or theres more to his story that we don't know about yet COS LIKE AFTER THE WHOLE MUU INCIDENT FOR HER 2ND TRIAL ??? 😭 IT MAKES ME WONDER IF WE'RE ONLY LOOKING AT THE SURFACE OF THEIR CRIMES AND NOT RLLY... THEM?? if that makes sense lol. BUT ANYWAS ENJOY READING WOOO!!

Joining MILGRAM was everyones' concern right now as they wondered how they even ended up here, and how they'll get out.

Shidou, however, seemed to be the more relaxed and composed one out of everyone here ⎯ not really saying much and keeping to himself, but he does go out of his way to make sure everyone is calm and not too anxious about the situation.

Even going as far as to do daily checkups to make sure nothing out of the ordinary is happening.

But as time flies for ... however long you've been here, Shidou began to notice how antsy you were getting. Eyeing everyone from afar and pacing around a lot when you think no one is looking ⎯ when in reality, he was always watching over you while you do this. Noting down your behavior in a little notepad he had asked Es for.

And when the time finally came where he confronted you about it, you just... Broke down in front of him. Saying it was all too much and that you were scared you'll be in here for your entire life.

Which made Shidou do his best to comfort you in a sensible, but comforting way a doctor was suppose to do, but he was having hard time grasping on what you meant. Or more so, the feeling of being afraid? Since he didn't really care about what happens to him, in fact he hopes to die here soon so he'd atone for his 'sins'. But seeing how effected you were of the situation, made him think otherwise... Only a little bit though.

Taking you by the hand, he leads you over to his cell for a private one on one session with him ⎯ to discuss more on the matter on how he could help you in any way.

However long you wanted to talk with him, he's always free to listen to your woes. Taking more notes with every session, and even noting down advices on how to make things a little better for you here.

But only just now mentioning this, he is a doctor. Just a doctor, that has no real experience in psychology whatsoever ⎯ so it's a first for him, just like you (if this is your first time having a therapy session), to talk and discuss about such heavily emotions.

And if he could, depending on the circumstances of your situation, he'd prescribe you with medication that could help you.

ೃ⁀➷ PLATONIC AND/OR ROMANTIC

But pushing all of that nonsense aside, let's talk about how he treats you like a 'princess'.

I think it'd start around the first few sessions with him, where he looks over in your direction to make sure you were doing alright.

But then later on, he'd come walking over to ask how's your day been, and if you were doing okay. Patting your head when you reply, in a praising way or in a comforting way ⎯ which ever it is you want, he'd gladly give it to you.

And oddly enough though, I do see him being the type to play with your hair?? Absentmindedly ruffling it up ⎯ or if you have long hair, he'd plait it into braids.

Being silent the whole time while he plays with it, and occasionally making small comments to fill in the silence when he thinks it's necessary to.

Another thing is linking his fingers with yours, when you're standing next to each other or sitting together while talking with the others. He'd graze his fingertips against yours ⎯ before linking them up. It's a small, silent gesture he does whenever he feels as though the conversation is getting a bit too overbearing or intense for you, or when he notices you slowly becoming uncomfortable and fidgeting a whole lot. But it's sweet nonetheless.

Shidou is also a man of few words mind you, but as mentioned earlier, he'd talk to you about your problems. And if you ever have the courage to confine in him about your murder(s)... I'd say he'd be flattered, but would be unsure on what to say after hearing about it.

Maybe opening up to you about his? Only slightly though ⎯ but not really mentioning the part where he hopes to get a guilty verdict, as to not make you worry for him.

But If you do somehow manage to find out about it though, say from someone else (for example: Kazui), Shidou really wouldn't know what to say to you if you try to convince him otherwise.

Sure, he might say something logical to counter your words towards him ⎯ but it'd feel like he's talking to a brick wall, from how persistent you are to get him to not throw away his life so easily.

But... He wouldn't really put up a fight for long. Not fully agreeing to what you say to him, but understanding how you feel after finding out about it.

It'll take some time for him to truly understand how you feel though, as he still believes he deserves to die for what he's done. But with some talks with him, and getting him to understand, perhaps he will start to change his views.

Now that I think back on it, afraid probably wasn't the most fitting word there 🤔 I think intimidated suits it more but anyways

And my MC will probably have more (or less) reason to be intimidated as the story progresses, but for now it's really just because of his gut feelings and how he doesn't voluntarily approach strangers 🙃. I'm not sure how F and MC first met in general, but my MC would personally not enjoy the crowd that Felix likely brings around (so I guess they just didn't mix well in the beginning). And now that I typed that out, it wasn't anything about *Felix* that made him unapproachable to my MC lol unless he's loud and chatty, then my MC would need some time to get used to that/him ✨

I think my MC would be reluctant to approach A, the doctor and D for similar reasons. They all have this experience to them y'know? A is a lawyer, the doctor is a doctor, and D is the club's owner. They've probably seen, heard or done various things that my MC would probably never do.

Oh and also the knowledge that experience brings 🧐 those three work very closely with people (Idunno about D tbh, they could be lurking in the shadows for all I know 💀). My MC doesn't want to be read like a book no thank you 😊♥️

And the main reason why I didn't include the stranger and the drug dealer is simply beause I don't think my MC would be near them enough times to be intimidated by them if that makes sense 💀 unless he's thrown into their accompany via story plot (then RIP my nameless MC for the second time)

OH AND I was wondering, in A's introduction, they said they were going to make MC life a living hell right? did someone hire a lawyer against the MC 😀 because y'know, lawyers usually help and defend the people they represent 🏃

yes, F brings a crowd. People are interested in them a lot, for the most different reasons (money, reputation, connections, sex) - F take care of them the way they want, which is probably why they deserve the 🚩 in the pinned intro post. No sugar coating here.

But: dealing with you… is different

But you can almost 100% avoid / miss D, the stranger and your dealer.

Regarding A (Lawyer), yes it‘s true..

A lawyer‘s job normally consists of helping people or just bringing out the truth (idealy). But don‘t forget, there‘s also lawyers for the bad guys. Though, for you to know, A is a good one. Normally.
