I'm FINALLY thinking about felix, god, it only took me like 2 years. Ok so you guys know the drill: I take something simple from his screentime and make it snowball into something else, this is how I roll mhm In both nadie me derrumbara and sra cara de papa we can see that a recurring thing with him is pride, which makes sense of course given he's very openly gay. But I feel like I can exagerate it into becoming a part of his mentality about being himself on all aspects. He's proud of who he is, he thinks he must always showcase it proudly and that if anyone takes issue with it he can just defend himself. He can do whatever he wants, look how he wants and love whoever he wants and no one can stop him. Which on paper is a very good mentality to have but on practice is at the very least worrying.

Because of course, you can't deny that fighting against bigots and assholes is morally good, but to actively keep announcing it is putting himself in danger. Sadly sometimes its better to bite back on some beliefs rather than putting yourself in harms way. It keeps happening time and time again and for as long as he can fight he will keep doing it, and that's only heightened by how Fede has become so fixated on how brave he is.

Like, overall, of course one must be proud of who they are and fight back against injustice, but I think it's equally as important to be able to prioritize your safety and not cause yourself unnecesary harm for the sake of being someone brave. If you're in genuinly dangerous enviroments sadly the better option is to just try and keep stuff to yourself, and he IS since he has been shown getting in literal fist fights more than once. But he thinks that he, as a 16 year old kid, must always be this unmovable brick wall of complete unfiltered produness and that he has to be the strong defender of what he believes in, because it's something admirable, and because it's unfair to have to pretend or hide. The world is stupid and awful and he refuses to mask himself for it literally ever. I gave him a sister and together they are the extremes siblings. She's very closeted and has no intention of ever coming out to anyone but her family in her entire life. Never mask who you are ever even if it puts you in danger VS hide yourself forever to protect yourself. They are stupid do you guys know there's a middle option???

He's very eager to defend himself and other people,,,,,, his older sister is stressed the fuck out and wants him to stop being so fucking loud about his beliefs NOT because its something to be ashamed about but because you are coming home bruised you need to stop calling so much attention to yourself are you insane. He resents her worry because he's doing something objectively good. Okay rant time.

Pregnant men exist. Not just as an uwu mpreg fanfic trope or a joke. Just because you think pregnancy is gross or icky doesn’t mean you can’t treat pregnant people with respect, regardless of gender or sex. Even in the queer community, trans men who choose to carry their children are seen as an anomaly or as betraying everything they’ve worked for. They aren’t. If I carry a child, I’m still just as much of a man.

Also, I understand if the idea of pregnancy is dysphoric for many trans men. I do. But trans men being pregnant isn’t an excuse to exclude them from queer spaces or treat them with anything less than the same respect you would anyone else. Many trans men experience dysphoria regarding the idea of pregnancy, but many don’t. Their body isn’t your business. Don’t be fucking weird.
