Had two very interesting conversations in class today. One was about culture, the other about AI. Put it together, sprinkle in this blog, and this was the result. I have a lot of thoughts I can't fully articulate at the moment (I am very tired and need to sleep), but perhaps I will elaborate further tomorrow..

Based on that one trend where artists kept redrawing an AI generated image with a cat over a child's eye. Already gave me a template to draw LMAO

from left to right (and then top to bottom): odile (great blue heron), mirabelle (canada goose), isabeau (sulphur crested cockatoo), bonnie (zebra finch), siffrin (barn owl), loop (barn owl (bald)), euphrasie (loggerhead shrike), king (wandering albatross)

and here's a little extra "size chart" for them!! theyre pretty much roughly the same as canon... yes i know shrikes are small little passerine birds but im just too attached to shrike euphie at this point. i love her greatly. and plus bodycraft is still a thing and shes implausably tall in canon soooo

I signed up for the Low Effort Secret Santa and got a wonderful prompt to draw Lloyd (I miss him... miss him bad). I've never drawn with Canva before so it was a wonderful opportunity to draw as fast as possible on an unfamiliar program. Might draw Ninjago ago.... who knows.

i miss old early/mid-2010s style confession blogs with cute graphics for every submission so much and i HATE the new resurgence of confession blogs so much i'm not sorry ��� confession blogs back then used to have rules about what could and couldn't be published and almost all of the new ones allow anything including blatantly hating on other users by name and are just constant pointless discourse generators omg. i keep having to block a new one every time i'm online.

I've noticed a surge in accounts who are solely reposts of other artists work from different sites across the internet.

Some do credit while others don't.

I'd like to truly know if those who do credit have taken note if the artists allow reposts or not?

Furthermore, sourcing the artists name but then linking it back to Pinterest isn't the same.

Folks need to learn proper sourcing art ettique and stop reposting art.

Hi chat, I feel bad for not posting anything super fic related (besides updates themselves, which I'd say are the most fic related I can get on here) so let me hit you with two things. 1. Knowledge of what's actually going on behind the scenes!! So, not only has this next chapter been KICKING MY ASS FR FR, but the ass kicking has inspired me not once, not thrice, but twice now to... no, I shan't be specific, I'll give too much away. Twice now, it's inspired me to make the same kind of change to how this chapter is going (aka things I didn't intend to focus on yet are now getting focus, which is good because I actually didn't know when or where to do that, so. yeah. Good.) Anyways the chapter itself should come out on time, no worries there, but it might be a little short. Or not, I don't know yet. The thought train is just struggling to chug along the tracks (which I KNOW won't be an issue for 8 because I am having so many thoughts about it. The demons are trying to write it before I even finish 7) 2. I bring you a doodle page I churned out just now, one edited to be easier to see and easier to read, the other completely raw in case that's more your style. Knowers will cry, others will not, and Benrey lovers will also cry because I butchered my boy (in my defense, it has been a long while since I properly drew any of these guys and I put all I had left in me into that banner so like. It'll improve soon gang I promise. Trust in the process) (I am SO good at counting trust)
