Hello ms. ack-cough, I hope this ask finds you well. I've become a big fan of your ISAT-related content, including the Siffrin & Isabeau fanchild you've made: Mars. If you'll allow me, I'd like to posit a thought exercise for the aforementioned character: How would Mars react to canon Siffrin (pre-loops, mid-loops, direct post-loops, whichever you believe most fitting/interesting) and vice versa?

Great question and it honestly depends what about Siffrin they learn.

Mars hardly ever hears pre or mid loop info about Baba (Siffrin), do to a fine mix of their poor memory and not wanting to tell Mars about the loops in general!

Cause yes we teach history to keep it from repeating, but how could you look at something so untouched by terror and haunt them with stories full of spilled blood. But you can't have the poor thing clueless now can we? Especially since the title of Savior that follows his family everywhere, and Siffrin being practically painted and carved by what the loops did to him.

So Mars knows the basics:

-that Siffrin was in a time loop

-that Loop is a Siffrin

- About Sifs Bigfrin scars, but not the exact events that caused them.

- THAT THE KING TRIED TO FREEZE VANGUARD<=(definitely knows this one since the guy now lives in his shadow)

-That Mirabelle was chosen by the Head Housemaiden.

- That Siffrin lost his eye protecting Bonnie <=(learned from Bonnie of course)

-"There was no research"

But kids are curious aren't they? Mars' would personally be fascinated and excited to learn more about his Baba and especially the things they've been hiding from him!

He'd love to hear stories of Siffrin's time as a nameless traveler before meeting the family, about the inner workings of the loops, the context for the "script" Baba would still sometimes compulsively repeat. About the way Wishcraft and Timecraft from one of its surviving victims.

But.. unfortunate Mars would bite off more than she can true.. To see and hear someone he loved so much dissent into madness, to learn why he hated the king so SO much.

To learn to be scared of her own shadow, cause the star that lives in it has splattered and painted the once beautiful house of change lightless with her families blood and innard. Hundreds , Thousands of times.

And only two people remember..

A new fear for SirSol would be gained that day..

In Stars and Time turns one year old today and all i wanna say is a huge Thank You to Adrianne and everyone who made it's release possible. It's an incredible game that has been holding me in a chokehold for seven months now, the longest i've been obsessed with anything in the last two years. I don't know what kind of person i would be today if it weren't for ISaT

the party's reactions that time i brought the king to the second special attack stage without mirabelle's shield ability recharged and this exchange has stuck with me ever since, right up there with the act 5 tarot card and the monologue at the beginning of act 2 and the one and only time i died to a sadness.

Spoilers for In Stars and Time! We're going baking in this one here (talking about cookies and cookie run)

I just wanted to share this little fun fact about cookies and stuff in relation to cookie run- I've seen people drawing In Stars and Time characters as cookies and with the recent ask I got I was thinking about it. Teehee~

I have this little thing in my head saying that characters that are from the island north of Vanguard would be meringue cookies. Why? Fun fact! Another name for meringue cookies is "forgotten cookies" because of the way they're baked. You're supposed to turn the oven off, then put them in the oven and forget about them, letting them bake that way!

So yeah, I just think that'd be interesting- translating ISAT characters into cookies and stuff- plus with how the tips of meringue turn brown when baked it let me have a bit of fun with my doodles :)

The Kritter (king critter). to me, kritters are like if a borzoi had long hair that covered its eyes like an english sheepdog

wet and sniffling and, like the fritter, wears hats. but this one wears hats as an aggression display rather than as a shelter. WATCH OUT, IT BITES!!!

And, the Euphramsie! a close relative to the mirabun species, and very good at protecting and managing large groups of other critters :D

Plus, bonus arts!!!! what the kritter looks like underneath its hair:

Kritters are about 3-4x as big as other critters. Euphramsies are about 2x as big.
