Lmfao. I love fourth-wall breaking meta in TV shows. General taking the piss out of itself. Lampshading.

You don’t see that very often anymore but Xena, Buffy and Charmed did it all the time. As does Wynonna Earp. See the similarities between all these shows go way beyond just “female-led supernatural/fantasy”. You see the same faces. You get the same themes. Same written dialogue. You even get the same issues.

But I love them. I love all 4 of them a shit load. It’s just characterisation in them surpasses anything of today.

And ensemble main casts as well. Always a key thing.
