Bronislava x sniper/snap shot dating headcannons

It's less a headcannon and more a short story/scenario but have it anyway

Warning: Very long post

After the christmas party at Scout/Jeremy's house Bronislava invites Sniper along on one of her nature stakeouts/photoshoots and they both have a great time. They don't talk much but they both find imense enjoyment in sharing the silence with the other.

They agree to keep in touch after. They write letters and send postcards. Sniper calls when he can get near a phone. He misses his regular phonecalls with his parents, its an empty space in his routine, but Bronislava gladly fills it and looks forward to his calls.

Bronislava goes to school for photography and lives on a campus. She is popular and has made a lot of good friends, whom are all very interested in this mysterious australian ex-mercenary she's dating. She has dated other men before, since coming to America, but this one seems different, like there might be something more than a fling or a fun night.

During one of their phonecalls Sniper mentions that he's considering going back to Australia. Bronislava is devistated, but knows she can't ask him to stay for girl hes only known a few months. She get's the idea that they should spend some time together before he leaves, proper quality time. Sniper agrees.

Bronislava is excited to find out what this "campervan" is she's heard so much about.

A few weeks later Sniper is parked outside her school to take her on a cross-country roadtrip in the campervan. He's nervous, they haven't seen eachother since the first date, months ago. He has spend all morning meticulously cleaning the van for all signs of his bachelor lifestyle. He even gets rid of the last jars he hadn't had a chance to use during the gravelwar. Jars of piss is no sight for a lady he figures.

He sits and waits for 30 minutes or so and almost falls out of his seat when there's a knock on the drivers window. It's her.

She looks lovely in her warm yellow turtleneck and fashionably styles hair. Sniper gets a little selfcontious about his own appearance. He isn't much older than her but the stress of his job and whatever else has happened has made him look older than he is. He's even noticed a few grey hairs that he tries to cover with his hat.

She is beautiful, though, just like last time he saw her. Sniper is a loner at heart, but he had, he now realizes, missed her a little.

Sniper quickly gets out of the van to greet her and is met by a big, surprisingly strong, hug. One might even call it.. a bear hug.. It certainly reminds him of the hug he got from Heavy when they said goodby after Scouts party. He guesses it must run in the family.

He invites her into the van to give her the tour and she all but jumps inside the living area.

It's amazing, she has never seen anything like it. It's liek a cabin on wheels! How wounderful to have the comforts of a home and still being able to go anywhere you want! After being stuck in the same place for s many years Bronislava yerns for adventure and to just move. She wants to see the world, wants to go anywahere - see everything.

The van is small, but it has everything you need. Kitchen, sitting/dining area, a bed. No washroom she notes, but she isn't sqeamish and has peed outside prenty of times, so she doesn't say anything.

It smells just like him. A mix of gunoil, cigeratte smoke, a bit of man-smell, and whatever he had been cooking the night before. She adores all of it.

After the tour they go to get her things from her dorm room and say goodby to her friends, who all nudge her and winks as they walk away. Spending a whole week on the road alone in a van with a professional killer - so scandalous! So sexy! She blushes. Sniper pretends not to hear the whispers, but he blushes too under his hat.

Sniper has a loose plan of the week. He has researched national parks, interesting museeums and weird side shows he think they might enjoy. He presents all of it to her and she loves it. And they're off.

Everything goes acording to plan. They have a great time at their first stop. Bronislava takes a lot of pictures on the way, both of the places they see but also of the van, Sniper, their dinners - which they hunt together. She is an excellent hunter and Sniper is very impressed and is falling for her more and more as the trip goes on.

The first night they sit outside cooking by a fire under the stars. They talk, laugh, then just sits in the comfortable silence. The air is getting cooler, but Bronislava doesn't feel it. She has lived in worse all her life. Sniper feels it and moves a bit closer to her. She radiates warmth and he just wants to touch her. A bit closer. She notices and bumps her shoulder against his. They laugh. She takes his hand and he leans in and kisses her.

Sniper sleeps in Bronislavas arms every night that week. He has never felt so safe. He wakes first in the morning and just listens to her breathe. He notes how she smells, how she sounds, how her hair is all messed up on one side. He loves it all.

After the week is over Sniper decides to stay in American untill Bronislava is done with her degree. After that they pack up their bags and move to Australia together.

They visit their friends and family in America whenever they can, Zhanna and Soldiers family, and Russia where Heavy and Medic have made their life. Bronislavas mother and sister Yana also live in Russia and they keep in touch via letters and phonecalls as much as possible.

I've been trying to wrap my brain around what the hell is going on in the tf2 universe. I'll make a separate post about that i think..anyway

Random BLU headcannons

BLU team is - in general - more chill. Their Medic is less openly insane (although still very much off his rocker), their Spy is less goofy mischief and more cold and cruel ect.

They get into less insane shit like fighting giant mutated breadmonsters.

BLU team are different people from RED. They have their own names and are very similar to RED team but just off enough to be their own people.

Spy lives in Medics fridge for a whole month before some of his teammates sneak in while RED is preoccupied by the whole bread thing and steal him back so he can be united with his body. The whole thing has left Spy extremly paranoid and on edge. Very traumatized. He doesn't take Medics form in the field anymore.

Heavy and Medic are dating, but they are more discreet than their RED counterparts, whom are openly together and very annoying about it.

Soldier is a deeply repressed homosexual and has a giant crush on Demo that he doesn't know what to do about. It starts out as friendship, he can handle that, he thinks. Then the feelings deepen and he doesn't know how to deal with it and it comes out as rage rooted in deep insecurity. He doesn't know who to talk to about it.

Pyro is colourblind and can't tell RED from BLU so they blast everyone they meet, just to be sure.

Pyro hates Spy deeply. They hate how he sneaks around and makes it harder for them to trust their teammates than it already is. Their attitude around their own Spy changed after he came back from RED base, he wasn't quite the same person anymore. They don't speak, but Pyro makes sure to burn Medic every time he sees him in the field.

Sniper can't swim and at this point he's too stubborn and embarrased to learn.

Soldier, Demo and Sniper have hearingloss to different degrees. Soldier has it the worst and it's largely why he rarely understands what's going on around him. Medic has given him hearing aids to wear, but he doesn't. Demo tries to wear protective headgear but the damage from his youth is irreversibel, although not as bad as Soldiers. Sniper is almost completely deaf on one ear.

Heavy is farsighted and wears glasses outside of battle.

Engineer is an exellent cook and does all of the cooking in the base. He's open to suggestions or collaboration if it's a special occation or a foreign recipe, but besides that no one is allowed in the kitchen. Not after... last time.

Scout is trans. Almost everyone knows, and everyone is fine with it. He showers alone, but besides that he makes no effort to hide. Medic helps him with T and did his top surgery. He has offered to do bottom surgery, but Scout isn't sure he wants it. Medic understands and offers to remove his ovaries instead, which Scout accepts.

Hope you like it! This was just a few things ive been thinking about. I'm working of some headcannons for RED as well so maybe i'll post that at some point.

Heavymedic and snapshots (Bronislava x sniper) double date?

HOLY SHIT I LOVE THAT NAME!! It’s official! That’s the ship name!

*ahem* Anyway!

Honestly I don’t think they’d want to go on a double date. I think Heavy would find it awkward and Medic doesn’t strike me as the type of guy who would go do generic date-things. He’d be wanting to go see an autopsy or something. He’ll go on a dinner date to have a good time with Heavy, but he’s a busy man and doesn’t do things he doesn’t want to do in his free time.

Sniper seems to me like a guy who would do anything for the person he’s with if it made them happy, but he’s the kind of guy who’s most comfortable in small crowds so doing something intimate with his partner, not a group activity. He’d do it for Bronislava but only to make her happy.

Bronislava wants everything life has to offer now that she can go anywhere she wants. She’ll propose the double date idea because she loves spending time with Sniper and she loves her brother and his weird German husband, so logically if they all spend time together it will be double the fin, right? Part of me also thinks she knows Heavy will say no and she’ll push it just to annoy him - little sister style.

I bet medic is just as stubborn when he’s sick and heavy has to practically beg him to rest

If not just straight up tie him to the bed until he can be trusted to rest unsupervised.

I think medic is very much the “no I’m not sick, ‘tis but a flesh wound!” - kind of guy. Heavy begs him to stop working and just chill for 5 seconds and medic insists that doing paperwork is hardly working! Heavy only agrees if he works from the bed.

I don’t think he’s a whiny kind of sick, you wouldn’t notice something was even wrong if he wasn’t half dead. Of course heavy notices immediately but he gives him a few days to surrender before forcing him to slow down.

He’ll never right out thank heavy for helping him but he’ll show gratitude in his own way. Either something insane and unhinged or small and sweet. Heavy understands and appreciates it either way.
