Was in the masked empire. He was a friend and mentor of Brialas and helped her with her efforts to use her relationship with Celene to improve the lives of elves in Orlais (and tried to let her down gently when it became apparent that was not enough).

He refuses to let Briala tell him the code for the eluvian network so that he cannot give it on to Solas. Refusing to tell him would not be enough to keep it from him. When he meets with Solas he tries to convince him that modern elves should be given a chance. Solas murders him, his ally of thousands of years, for this.

In inquisition, Cole says this:

This is what the Betrayal of Felassan represents. Solas murdered his trusted friend and ally because he though modern elves were people whose lives had value.

chilshi week day 5: cuddling + kiss

Inquisitor doodles. I’m not sure in these are the one I’m going with for veilguard, I have another one I’ve completed trespasser with so I might go with him. I just really like my chubby moustached qunari.

I didn’t want to play an elf initially. For a while I was playing around with the idea of a Lords of Fortune dwarf rouge, but I couldn’t get the idea of a necromancies out of my head. And as we all know, dwarves can’t be mages (and I really wanted to play a death caller) so that idea has been benched for a future playthrough.

Instead I started to figure out who this crypt baby was. A mage for sure, and an elf would have the most relevant dialogue with all the dread wolf stuff going on, so to get a Rook with a little more skin in the game, I had to make her an elf. This is some of the design choices I made later on to make her more interesting to look at and to avoid same-face-syndrome.

Words cannot describe how I yearn for this games release. So naturally I’ve been spending my time designing my rook with the information we have pm them so far. Here’s mine! She doesn’t have a first name yet but I’m sure it will come to me. Anyway here are the first few sketches I made and some moments from her life up until veilguard.
