I can't stop thinking about your reverse AU, it's going to stay with me. But also since we're going to be waiting for the sequel for God knows how long, I am entertaining myself thinking of post-epilogue scenarios. Do you imagine they got together pretty immediately or are they going to attempt to take it slow? Or maybe Lestat wants to be "companion enough for himself" and is trying to do the most un-Lestat thing ever and be chill? I can't wait to hear your thoughts!

This is a very fun question!! Honestly. I think if the epilogue went one more scene they would have already started fucking - and I swear I'm not just thinking with my dick when I say that asjkfhaj

"Reverse" really is the guiding concept of this fic for me, not just in character circumstances but in their arcs, too, and it works nicely I think because Louis and Lestat are pretty much opposites already. The way I see it is, Louis needing to learn how to be his own companion in the show makes sense because he spent over a hundred years almost exclusively in relationships, and doesn't fully know who he is alone. In this AU, though, Lestat has been single, and desperately lonely, for many, many years at this point (I only have a rough timeline in mind but you better believe he did not spend 80 years married to Armand lmao). What he's always wanted, and needed, was to feel secure, and loved for who he truly is.

If we continue with the theme of the reunion being a power fantasy, the ultimate fantasy for Lestat would be to have Louis assert that he wants him, honestly and with no reservations, and that he's ready to finally be with him fully. At the same time, Lestat also needs to be the initiator, and it needs to happen on his terms - Louis can't undo the past, but I think having Lestat be the one to dictate the pace of the relationship would do a lot to heal the violation of trust from his turning (and the subsequent years of Louis pretty much controlling everything about their lives).

So yeah, the way I see it, Louis takes him upstairs and after hours of conversation or whatever, Lestat just fucking goes for it. I'd imagine Louis would need to be reassured that it's really what Lestat wants (hysterical tbh) but once Lestat asserts that it is, they'd dive back into a relationship frighteningly fast. I also think the new, sweet, confident and yet kinda bashful Louis would be like a punch to Lestat's dick...........

okay so clearly i have fast metabolism bc theres no way 🤨 i was 135 literally 10 days ago! thats insane 😭 at this point i’ll reach 115 by the end of the month :O every Wednesday im going to log my weight (i check twice a day but it fluctuates so im gonna log only once a week!)

anyways i seriously cannot believe this :O i was literally 135 !! cant wait to keep going till im out the twenties 😋😋 idk if yall have trust issues but i do so i dont even believe the scale like i must be way heavier 🤨
