One of my pet peeves after having gotten very into swing dance as an aroace is seeing videos of people swing dancing or really doing any type of partner dance and over half the comments just being stuff like “how are they not in love😳” or “friends🤨” like please free yourselves, you can have a lot of chemistry and fun dancing with someone and it doesn’t have to be anything more than that!! Just fun!!! I’m not saying a little bit of lighthearted friendly love can’t be involved but it’s not always that deep, it’s just having fun!!

Imagine being new to the Justice League and being assigned to Bat Carrying Duty.

Like, it’s the end of the battle and everyone’s getting ready to go back to the Hall of Justice for some ret-con or something, and Green Lantern turns to this terrified newbie and tells them to go pick up Batman. Why? Because the Bat-plane got hit and that bitch can’t fly, so he needs to get back to headquarters somehow.

And this poor baby superhero has to awkwardly go over to Batman and try to pick him up, all while Batman’s grumbling about the League’s incompetence and telling this kid not to touch his utility belt bc of they press the wrong thing it might explode. This kid then has to bridal-carry the fucking Batman across state lines, enduring what is the most painfully awkward silence in all of human history. And the whole time this newbie is praying that they don’t drop Batman bc that would piss Bat’s off and that in turn would piss Superman off—and that’s a recipe for disaster.

But then they finally get back to the Hall of Justice and the entire league is there laughing their assess off bc apparently getting assigned to carry around the League’s resident Scary Human is an initiation ritual/hazing thing.

And the kid is red in the face the entire time. Batman is unamused

I got kinda manic today trying to do so much. I got up and ran errands to go buy my mom a pillow and got us a nice set of sheets with holiday money. Then I did a quick grocery run to get what I needed for baking. I tried to donate towels and cat litter to a spay/neuter clinic but they’re closed for the holidays.

I got home and scrubbed the cat box fully, then baked my coworker black bottom cupcakes since she told me no one ever makes her birthday cake. I did all the dishes from baking and dropped off the finished cupcakes. I started feeling a bit ill around then from fatigue. I got lunch and dragged myself home.

After I ate I passed out on the couch and I’m too floppy to do anything. I’m very close to booting up the copy of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla someone sent me ages ago but I haven’t worked up the will yet. I wish cozy pants weren’t all the way upstairs.

I have a dumb idea

The justice league (Minus Clark and Diana) thinks that Robin is an immortal being that changes form every 5-10ish years because Bruce never told them he had different robins

Robin I and Bruce having issues near the end was just due to the transformation coming near

Robin II only lasting so long and Bruce’s grief after they attribute to something going wrong with the transformation and do think Robin is dead

However when Robin III comes they assume that Bruce’s grumpiness is attributed to him being over protective after the disaster of the last transformation

The Steph comes and goes back to Tim and they’re all thrown but like maybe this version of Robin is genderfluid and they don’t want to be rude so they don’t say anything

And when Damian comes after 5 years it just solidifies this theory as well as Robin probably being genderfluid cause of Carrie

Yes the bat kids have come to the watchtower as Nightwing, Red Hood, Red Robin, and Spoiler

Bruce is unaware

The batkids know and are keeping up the act as they wait for the perfect moment to descend from the celing, all wearing the robin uniform and traumatizing the Justice League
