Yes that's bc I use Ottoman-occupied Greece as my inspiration for Braavos! I save ancient/classical Greece for parts of the Valyrian empire. This is because 1) I like the dark colors and heavy ornamentation that they wore when greek became absorbed by the Ottomans, its more in line with Braavosi culture imo 2) the clothing is heavier and covers more than the classical inspired fashions, which I think is better for the damp cold climate of Braavos and 3) the more advanced Ottoman clothing makes more sense in the current time period of ASOIAF compared to the simple draping of classical fashions (even though I know George doesn't really give a fuck ab material advancements bc we've been doing feudalism for 10,000 years and still have the same architectural styles but just let me have this)
