Too tired to try and write something for this, but I imagine that Magnai asks Ieeha to visit him on the Steppe before the events of Ultima Thule, giving him enough time to settle matters should Ieeha accept the sun.

One person then leaves the Rising Stones after the events of the 13th, followed by two people returning, almost awkwardly hand in hand.

But that's fine with them, because they have all the time in the world henceforth to catch up on all the time they wasted being dense.

It was Guydelot who accidentally stepped on a landmine by trying to strike conversation with Magnai in Camp Broken Glass after seeing him and Ieeha bicker like an old couple. He goes into it all ''ah yes just like me and my Sanson—" only to find out that Magnai was NOT aware of what's going on, and then everything spirals from there, forcing Sadu and Cirina to step in and help Magnai unpack several expansion worth of confusion and strange longing.

(Sanson is the one who tells Guydelot for once that it'll be fine after the fact LOL)

on one hand I wanna write my fic ideas wherein my marvel oc gets sent to the alternate universe of Gotham and hijinks ensue whilst she tries to survive and get back and the batfam and such slowly learn more info abt her world and how it's being threatened atm and she needs to go back and help and whatnot.

But on the other hand, the readers wouldn't know the marvel related backstory of this OC and would have. No context for her going in

But ALSO then the readers would know abt as much abt this mysterious figure as the batcrew do, and get to learn via flash backs and her slowly revealing info to them as safety allows

Then there's also just a general. Idk if there's any sort of oc etiquette when it comes to writing oc centered fics? My brain goes so hogwild when I read anything that I usually avoid oc fics other people write just bc I usually read and enjoy fics at face value but I also go "now what would happen if this OC was here?" And that gets real complicated when other people's ocs are involved

I have so many thoughts. Some of them are a bit dark so be warned, theres a lot of trauma. also spoiler warning for act 3 and Astarions arc!

I truly just believe he's a switch and it just depends on the person he is with, because his sexuality up until the you and Astarion get into a full deep connection was based in fantasy

Astarion as a sexual person probably knows a lot about himself and what he wants but there's still definitely that need to lure and use people, so he needs to fit whatever he perceives as the perfect fantasy for whoever he is sleeping with

Once he finds himself outside of Cazador and in something stable, he would find comfort in being taken care of. Being the little spoon, taking things slow, you being the one to initiate sex, kisses, etc

I think he'd only be comfortable being more dominant again after defeating Cazador and not ascending, finally seeing he can do anything for himself and himself only if he ever wanted to

but he'd much rather do things for the both of you, now. He likes thinking for himself and another with no selfish intentions or threats

in that he'd take more control in the bedroom, but there would be a few breakdowns and needing to stop to unpack some trauma

a lot being that he's safe and here, and no one will leave him, especially you, and needing to pause or stop during intimacy is normal and perfectly ok. He can just get overwhelmed by the ghost of his past victims and his own victiomhood

there's a lot of comfort in living life to protect you, and gratefully and willingly

had this idea that i thought was adorable so here

have a little arthur with a crush on a marine biologist !!!!

after arthur had moved to london, finally getting somewhat used to the area he had moved to, he had become slightly socially worn out from seeing his friends much more often, being exposed to many more social situations all whilst trying to unpack and organise his new flat.

so he had decided to abandon his responsibilities for the day to go to the aquarium, which was honestly one of the things he had been looking forward to most when moving to a bigger city then he was used to, the museums, zoos, and aquariums he could finally visit.

he was happy going alone, wanting to unwind, his headphones hanging from his neck, ready to play some music as he strolled through and gawked at all the sea life.

when he walked into the lobby, he noticed the place was quite empty, but it didn't wholly surprise him - it was 11am on a tuesday, most people were probably at work or school, and he had somewhat been glad it was empty.

he walked up to the desk, slightly looking up at the woman at the desk before back down to his feet for a moment.

the worker was quite pretty.

"hi, can i help you?" the woman spoke, in a sweetly helpful way.

"hello, i just wanted to get a ticket?" he said, a little quietly.

"just a one day general admission?" she asked, and he confirmed with a nod of his head.

"yeah, that sounds good to me," he nodded, his eyes slightly crinkling as he offered her a slightly awkward smile.

"have you been before? we have a little leaflet with a map in that might help if you'd like one, you can obviously just wander as you please but if theres specific things you'd like to see, they're all labelled in here," she offered, placing a small blue coloured leaflet on the desk, his fingers gently reaching to take it, nodding gratefully.

"oh, thank you, yeah.. i mean, i love all the sea creatures but i do really like the sharks," he admitted with a small laugh, and she nodded, giggling a little herself.

"oh, me too.. the sharks are my favourite by a mile, i even have a specific favourite shark, they actually let me name her," she smiled, and his eyes lit up.

"no way, really? what did you call her?" he asked, clearly interested.

"a little rogue but i called her missile," she said bashfully, and he laughed.

"that is very cool." he confirmed, and she blushed a little with a nod.

arthur handed her the money for the ticket, taking it from her with a small thanks as he headed his way into the aquarium.

he could easily spend hours in the aquarium, and he did, meandering slowly and stopping at each small fish that he could see, reading all the boards with the facts on, and by the time he had even looked down at his phone he noticed it was already 2pm, and he was approaching the shark section of the aquarium, a grin on his face at the prospect.

he had barely ran into anyone whilst walking through the winding path of the place, and in the shark section he could only see one person in the whole big area, a big glass tunnel, someone hunched over on a bench, eating and watching the sharks on the other side.

he began slowly walking around, his head focussed on looking up at the glass, watching the sharks swim around, even over his head when he was lucky before he heard noise.

"oh, hi again," a small familiar voice said, and he turned to the girl eating, who had lifted her head up - the worker from before.

"hello," he said, smiling a little, "must be very cool to be able to eat here on your lunch break," he joked a bit, and she nodded.

"uh huh, one of my favourite parts of the day, checking on missile... and of course all the other sharks, i love them all. though, feeding time is also pretty cool,"

"feeding them would be so cool," he nodded in confirmation. "which one is missile?" he asked curiously, and she grinned.

"the one that swam over your head before," she laughed slightly, putting down her box of pasta and standing up for a second, slightly closer to him before pointing upwards, at a spotted slightly smaller shark, "that's missile, she's a leopard shark,"

"what about the others? do you know all their names?" he asked, and she nodded, tucking a piece of hair behind her ear.

"that's david, he's a lemon shark... that's haribo, he's a gummy shark, that ones called eve, she's a nurse shark... and the rest are hiding somewhere, but we have hammerheads, angel sharks and cow sharks hiding round here somewhere," she laughed a little, shrugging, "some of them like the attention more then others,"

"so you're really interested in sharks? or is it just a thing where you know a lot from working near them?" arthur asked, and she nodded again.

"i studied marine biology, i usually work more behind the scenes but on quiet days i work behind the desk too, but yeah, i love sharks, and just sea animals on a whole... i mean, i even have a shark tattoo," she giggled. "what about you, you just here to see them or do you have an interest?"

"oh, um, i have an interest in animals in general, and i just moved to london, so i wanted to come see the aquarium 'cause i've never been before," he admitted, and she nodded.

"i do love the aquarium, it's so peaceful, i mean sometimes i come in even on my days off, which in most jobs seems so bizarre but, i don't know, i just love it here."

and that's how arthur ended up frequenting the aquarium more than he intended to, over the past month going at least six times, enjoying the aquarium (and secretly hoping to run into the girl who he had become just a small bit infatuated with but had only admitted that to his close friends, who in turn obviously mocked him)

"you literally don't even know this girls name," george laughed when arthur had admitted he may have had a tiny crush on her after telling them about going to the aquarium for the fourth time in two weeks.

"well, obviously i know that, but i mean, i can't find out unless i see her again, can i?"

"only arthur could go to an aquarium and randomly fall in love with a girl just because she spoke to him about sharks," chris said sarcastically, and arthur rolled his eyes at him, his face red.

"she was cool, okay? she literally gets to name and feed and pet sharks, that is cool!" he defended himself in a splutter of embarrassment, only leading to slightly more giggles

when he next went, and he had paid for his ticket with someone else at the desk, and began his wander around the museum, he heard a slightly teasing voice once in the shark exhibit.

"you know, you could have saved yourself a lot of money if you had just bought a monthly pass," a giggling voice said, and he turned around to her with a slightly red face and a shrug.

"didn't realise i was gonna end up coming so much," he admitted with flushed cheeks.

"just become obsessed with the sharks, eh?" she asked, and he gulped down with another shy nod.

"uh huh. and, um. well, kinda hoping to run into you, also," he acknowledged, only to hear her laugh a little more.

"stalking me now, are you?" she asked, only to make his eyes widen

"no, not like that! just that, you know, i thought you were interesting and that-" she laughed a little harder now,

"i'm just kidding, don't worry about it. you do know there's other ways to see girls you find interesting other then hoping to bump into them at work?" she teased.

"well, that's what i was hoping to ask, you know... if i could maybe see you not in the shark section of the aquarium? like a date?" he asked, fiddling with his fingers a little.

"sure, that sounds nice," she smiled at him, "though, you don't even know my name," she teased.

"well, what is your name?" arthur asked, slight more confidence in his voice and a small smile on his face, slightly reassured that she had said yes.

"whats yours? i mean, for all i know you're some stalker who frequents aquariums looking for victims," she teased, leading him to jokingly roll his eyes.

"my name is arthur, and i promise it was not stalking... just thought you were smart, and pretty, so.. what's your name?"

"suppose you'll have to find that out on the date, hm, arthur?

ok so like i've had this thought in my brain. like just imagine, you're finally moving out to canada to be with hayden on his farm. when he picks you up he brings a big bouquet of flowers and a drink for you from wherever. then when yall get to the farm, he takes you into the house and there is just a bunch of stuff. like he had briar make you a "welcome home" sign and theres streamers, then theres a plethora of farm animal stuffies and some blankets along with your favorite things and hes just like "welcome home darling" UGHHH

He picks you up with a big bouquet (how many pics I’ve seen of him bringing them for Rachel? SWOON). The banner that Briar helped make??? Excellent touch and one that I could see really happening. He’s so excited to finally have someone else living with him again, he happily gives you the tour of the house, saying that he’ll show you the whole property tomorrow because he wants to help you settle in. He helps you unpack before really welcoming you home.

He’d look a little sheepish as he watches you take in everything he bought for you and set up. “I just wanted to make sure you had everything you’d need and are comfortable.” He’d shrug, trying to be nonchalant.

“It’s perfect Hayden, just like you.”

i know im such a broken record, but i genuinely think people dont understand how much policing peoples art really is a problem. policing people for their thought crimes, for engaging with material they dont like... it all comes from the same place.

i know i sound dramatic when i talk about it in regards to fascism and stuff, but like... theres a reason thats on the rise. this shit goes hand in hand with 'no kink at pride' discourse. with 'we should ban drag story hour'. its this idea that engaging with any part of a taboo culture makes you an irredeemable pervert who isnt safe around children. and i know, queer people shouldnt be a taboo culture! but we are. because thats a sin. the reason there is kink at pride is because you gotta respect other peoples desires like that even if you dont get them, cuz we all look the same to the dominant culture. even if youre gay and asexual and you just wanna hold hands w someone of the same gender..... you will be called just as big of a pervert as someone whos openly into puppy play or whatever. and trying to separate yourself only serves to make the most marginalized people unsafe. it can be a gateway to terfism to white supremacy... its all people saying 'youre upset about stuff, do you know whos fault it is? that guy over there who makes you uncomfortable, they make you look bad. wouldnt it be better if they didnt exist?'

purity culture is derived from this cultural christianity, which isnt to say its literally coming from christians, but the ideology of there being good people and bad people. that you need to purge your bad thoughts just the same way you need to repent for your sins. it is in fact related. its dangerous to be going around calling people freaks perverts and degenerates. thats the language of the oppressors.

i think the fandom shit is just like... it can be a gateway to the rest of it. its frustrating and scary to see how willing people are to fall into this rhetoric. there is no such thing as good wholesome people and evil perverted people.

i think the thing is a lot of the people doing this are young, and have only grown up being taught to shun the weirdos. you really gotta start unpacking all that stuff, thats all im ever trying to say, as annoying as it is to hear over and over again. cuz this is never a single person whos falling for this, its always the mob mentality of it. all it takes is one person going 'hey that guy makes FREAK art for FREAKS' and suddenly theres 50 more people going 'YEAH!! THEY DO!!!' cuz collectively youre not thinking about where that thought process is coming from, how deeply ingrained into our culture that is.

so despite it being annoying, im gonna keep saying it every time it comes up. because if no one speaks up we collectively get worse. maybe the more times i repeat myself, despite how many followers i lose, the more people i might make think about their actions.

TGS Spoilers under cut

This is the first time after an update that I’ve been absolutely lost for words, not because nothing happened, but because theres so much to unpack about it.

“How many times did you meet him?” Did Jasper ever actually meet Hyde Until he was tied up? He heard about him plenty of times sure but I don’t think he’s actually spent time with him, so in a way Rachel makes sense by seeing this.

But Jasper also grew close with Jekyll during this time and I dont think his feelings should be side lined, he worked side by side with Jekyll and really got to connect with him.

Rachel was close to both so it makes sense why she may be reflecting through anger towards anyone she’s near. But either way Jaspers feelings shouldn’t be sidelined.

Ooooo boy, there are some things to unpack here

Rachel ignoring the signs that Hyde looking like Jekyll because of her grief from Eli’s death is heart wrenching, it was so obvious to her but she really needed it to be Eli for her to cope.

It was an unhealthy way, especially now that everything had been revealed but it helped her at the time, even though it was harming those around her.

Now its like everything is crumbling infront of her eyes

It seems to just now hit her, even when she was talking to Lucy and her brother a couple of chapters back it just now hit her that it’s official

There was always something in the back of her mind telling her that it was possible that this was Eli back to her and after her talk with her Brother and Lucy, it stayed there.

Now she knows that its not true, she knows officially its all gone and that comfort she got in the thought, her coping mechanism, its all gone.

The Lodgers are in disarray, and it makes me wonder how is Jasper so calm in this situation.

He’s been here the shortest time but he worked one on one with Jekyll, he has plenty of a right to freak out too yet he is keeping calm and Helping everyone else

In a way he was becoming Jekylls apprentice, which would give some explanation to why he’s trying to help everyone’s nerves, it’s as if he’s trying to prove that he can handle things, to himself and maybe Jekyll as well, perhaps knowing that Jekyll is Hyde dosent bother him that much

Jasper has the most understanding of Jekylls situation, he’s a werewolf, he knows about transforming and he also tried to cure it through potions, he wouldn’t judge Jekyll as Harshly as the other lodgers because it’s something he can relate to. He probably thinks Hyde is Jekylls version of a werewolf, maybe that’s why he’s not freaking out, he understands wanting to hide that part of yourself and he gets why Jekyll may have not wanted to tell anyone.

He has that connection to Jekyll that no one else has, not even the people who Jekyll has known for so long. Having another being inside of yourself that you cant always control, that’s something only Jasper has also experienced.

Anyway, Jasper giving Rachel his jacket because he couldn’t stay with her was very cute and made me very giddy
