there's a theory that buck is going to take a bullet for eddie because of the white shirt and eddie's medic skills brought up all season. i think it would make sense because buck had to watch eddie shot in front of him before and he was traumatized and so angry at himself for being helpless so it makes sense this is how he would react. when he said maybe it would have been better if he was the one who was shot that could be foreshadowing in a way.

I could see that happening. The shooting is the last thing the show needs to recreate this season of BUDDIE’s big disasters. I would love to see Eddie’s reaction this time to Buck getting hurt.

i was minding my own damn business, having breakfast on a random sunday morning when a thought attacked me, so sudden and disrespectful that now you have to listen to me.

imagine eddie diaz who comes back from the hospital after being shot and finds his best friend basically living in his own house. the first time he came back home after being shot, he was met with obligations, with challenges, trapped in an unhappy marriage and crushed by both his wife and his parents’ expectations, trying to provide for a son who he deeply loved but barely knew. now, he comes home and finds his best friend’s life interwoven with his own. maybe he finds buck’s clothes casually thrown around, his socks around the couch, where he sleeps, where he has been sleeping while taking care of his son so selflessly, without being asked.

i thought about eddie waking up and finding buck in his kitchen, having breakfast with his son. and i literally could see eddie padding down the hallway while rubbing his eyes — still half asleep, hair tousled and clothes rumpled — stopping barely out of his kitchen, taking in the scene unfolding before his eyes, and feeling safe. feeling just fucking safe, maybe for the first time in his life, feeling like he can just sit next to his best friend and slump onto him, go completely slack against him, sure that buck would catch him. because buck already did, in more ways than one buck already extended his hand and never let go.

People seemed to like my last Upside-Down Magic post so I’m back at it!

Today I also experimented with lineless art. I’ve never done something like this before so I’m really proud of it!

For those who don’t know, this character’s name is Bax. He’s a Fluxer (a shapeshifter) who can only turn into inanimate objects. The thing is, Fluxers are only supposed to turn into animals, and he can’t turn back by himself. This is what makes him upside-down!

Bax is my favorite character so I draw him a LOT 😂 he’s just so… AAHEHDUXH

I think the coma theory fits most and like you said they hinted all Buddie ndes except the shooting so maybe Eddie gets shot and flashes back to the first shooting and the memory of Buck that he denied before

That’s a good theory as well. I know Tim is gonna take one of our ideas and bring it to life.

He probably has someone who works on the show lurking on here and maybe Twitter for ideas.

sometimes i wonder what the shooting scene must have looked like from an outside perspective. like, imagine this man gets shot and there’s this crazy individual who freezes at first, then crawls under a firetruck to drag this bleeding man to safety, all the while looking like a deranged, feral animal. then the madman proceeds to lift the bleeding man on his shoulder and shoves everyone away because he has to rip the poor man’s shirt off, ripping a gauze pack with his teeth and babbling an incoherent string of words begging the dying man to not die. then, once they drop off the man at the hospital, the crazy one stays stock still while his hands won’t stop shaking. it’s— like, funny. in a way. lol

I’m sorry for these belated Frankie Friday greetings. I’m finally on vacation, one day earlier than scheduled for a shitty reason but let’s not linger on that.
