Interesting theory from the last anon about Deaddie, I think that right now what Eddie is going to need is that feeling of belonging to a family and that is not his own but 118, the NDE should be during the double episode and because of his work, not a car accident, or a tree falling on him, seeing that he has Chris, Buck, Bobby, Athena, Hen, Chim, Maddie, Karen … who will support him without hesitation.

Those other theories from other anons about Eddie getting infected by something and having to be quarantined seem very interesting to me, Eddie, thanks to the Army, has training in these areas that Hen and Chim surely don't have so for him it would be a very, very credible plot, we would see another side of Eddie as a paramedic that we had never seen, except a little when the bank robbery episode, I don't remember the season, but I think it's season 3.

Good points nonny. I literally need answers. Only one more episode and we get the promo for the beginning of the 2 part episode. I’m so excited. I wonder what it’s actually gonna be about.

tbh, i want the will to come out as much as everyone, but i prefer presumed deaddie to an nde. the drama would be amazing, it could be like when buck got mad at the well scene because he thought everyone else was giving up on eddie, i think buck would never give up hope eddie is alive. i would rather see eddie fighting to get home to his family than in a hospital bed again.

I think that could very well happen nonny. I think we’re all stuck on what the tree falling metaphor that’s been going around is making us delusional. I hope that something with a tree actually happens.

I also like the theory of Eddie being infected and Buck looking at him through a glass, that storyline would be amazing and different.

Oliver said he loves episode 8x16, but I'd like it to be more brother&sister oriented, with Buck accompanying Maddie to an ultrasound and seeing his nephew. I'd like Maddie to have a normal pregnancy, that she can enjoy with Chimney, Jee, and Buck. Obviously, the perfect thing would be for Oliver to refer to something huge happening on the Buddie front.

That would be a way to go as well. Imagine Buck (after Maddie has her son) looking at said nephew and just crying happy tears. Then realizing some things as well…

I HATE how when Eddie talked about coming home Buck hesitated because like Tim said he couldn't be selfish but Eddie interpreted that hesitation as Buck being worried about the HOUSE. He just has no clue that Buck is over there acting like a war widow and saying his name 50000 times a day and having meaningless sex to distract himself and acting so insane it's driving everyone around him nuts. He didn't witness Buck's behavior at the well and doesn't remember the shooting, I wish his character could see these things and know how crazily he's loved.

Can you imagine if Eddie found out somehow through Maddie or Ravi how many times Buck has said Eddie’s name since he left for El Paso? I think E would be flabbergasted and bring it up in one of the many FaceTimes Buddie have had since.

I would also like to see Eddie find out about all those things that Buck did when Eddie was hurt (like all the things you mentioned). That would be icing on the cake.

To add to the last anon with their list of theories, I love the infected Eddie theory and I would die if they have their realizations and/or confessions while Eddie is infected and we get them looking longingly at each other through a glass or plastic barrier of some kind, unable to touch each other and wondering if they'd ever be able to 😭🫠

Oooohhhhh. I would LOVE if that happened. That would be a great fanfic trope to incorporate as well nonny.

I have this weird feeling that this is what Tim would do and has done for the big emergency in 814-15. We’ll find out soon if it is. 👍👏💯❤️‍🔥

These are my theories:

Eddie has a huge fight with his parents, or his mother, and Chris sees it. I'd like to see his sexuality, and more things, come out.

Chris decides to move in with Eddie.

Nothing ties them down in El Paso anymore, and they decide to came back to LA (end of 8x13).

Eddie returns to the 118 and his first emergency is huge, everything points to something chemical or biological.

He gets infected and has to be isolated. The will comes out.
