also had to restrain myself from actually tearing up at work bc this one little girl said something so cute. like okay for context she's still fairly new to our classroom and since she remembers me from when i worked in the baby + toddler rooms with her she kinda latched onto me and can get very sad when i leave.

so it was almost time for me to go home today and her mom hadn't picked her up yet so i was hyping her up to be okay when i left by reminding her that i'd see her tomorrow and it would be okay and that she liked the other teacher in the room too. so i tell her "you're gonna have so much fun with miss hannah! she's gonna take you guys outside, miss hannah is the best!" and the kid goes NO she's not 😒 and i was caught off guard so i just went "well why not??" and she gave me the biggest sweetest baby doe eyes and said "YOU are!"

like oh. okay. i guess i'll just die then 😭😭

everyone talks about how bruce talks about his 'babies' as if they're just sweet little kids, when they are OBVIOUSLY not (shocking everyone who meets them). but i think dick would do the Exact Same Thing:

dick: "and you're gonna LOVE my baby brother jason, he's so smart, and has such a sense of empathy. but god does he just get bigger every day, they grow up so fast"

enter 6'5 literal mountain jason todd, who looks like he's going to snap someone's neck if they so much as look at him the wrong way.

Just made a big ol step in socializing the wiggly macaroni man,

both of my cats are shy and not really handlable i would say, but Mac is def worse. Now he's DEF become more cuddly and lovey dovey toward me and my roommate but everybody else he RUNS away. And when it comes to vets he's not really cooperative at alll. Like, they did Macaroni's blood tests when they neutered him cause he was about to Fully Fight the vet

So I have started a twice a week random routine of Catch The Mac

Cause like,

1) i dont want him to associate being held with The Carrier or The Vet [btw carriers are out all the time and I irreguarlly feed/hide treats in them]

2) eventually, Id like to be able introduce a signal for "its time to get picked up"

Right now Mac's response to even petting with 2 hands is to jump away so we're working on getting Held to just a neutral/positive thing before any kind of command is in there, but I hold out hope to one day have a cat that I can say "Hold!" And he'll let me pick him up.

Thats at least the goal

Given, this *is* the critter who knows to go where I point and specfically identified only the straw as what he wanted from the trash THEN ATTEMPTED TO THEFT THAT SINGLE STRAW

Go to bed telling yourself nice things, "I had an AMAZING day today." "I am thriving" even if in the physical reality you had the worst possible day, YOURE GONNA FLIP THE SCRIPT and tell yourself that you had the most AMAZING day,

Wake up in the morning telling yourself nice things "I am beautiful" "I am happy and healthy" "I am abundant". When you're at work/school tell yourself nice things "I am prosperous" "everything is ALWAYS working out in my favour" "whatever I want I get 10x better" "God has my back" ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS!!!

check in with your mental diet every single moment of the day. Because I can't stress this enough, THE MOMENT I stopped talking Ill about me and saying nice things to myself whenever I caught myself saying things that disapproved of my self worth, I flipped the dialogue exactly the positive of that. And I promise you, each and every single time you do this, even the littlest of "flipping your internal dialogue" will build up to your confidence.

The moment I started doing this, my hair grew thicker, my skin got clearer, my confidence got higher, people started to complement my aura, even teachers were complimenting my beauty. I caught MULTIPLE men wanting to have a chance with me ( but I'm sooo picky of who I allow into my life and I'm gonna get to that on my next post) EVERYTHING started to align FOR ME as if life was happening THROUGH ME. animals started to love me more, my cats got closer to me, birds started to live with me, I GOT SPECIAL PRIVILEGES from around me. When I say FLIP YOUR INTERNAL DIALOGUE? I'm not even kidding guys. Even my grades got up!? TRY IT!!
