Finished reading The World After The Fall and idk how to deal with the fact that Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint was the happy SingShong story.

I just wanna say I really like your collinlock16/andrewgaming67 crossover art ^_^
Gah, thank youuu 💥💥💥 (this is all a little bit jarring lol, not in a bad way of course, just kinda crazy people like my silly little blog) Have a rando snippet of a fic I'm working on as a bonus (can you guess what crossover it is :P?):
“Let's just go to the house. May have something more useful than that.” He clears his throat, groaning. It doesn't alleviate the soreness. Then promptly remembers he's recording, because that was needlessly loud,
“Sorry. I'll just cut that if I…”
He trails off, mouse flicking towards spruce planks on the ground. Another sign that says condemned in all caps. Cool,
“Okay, another useless sign--! Why is this even here? And there's fences around this place but they don't even connect to a gate. Like,”
Andrew runs up to the small area illuminated by torches, and mines a fence repeatedly, “what's the point of this if it's open over there? At least there’s torches to prevent mob spawning-- but still!”
He doesn’t consider himself a good Minecraft player, but at least he finished his little cobblestone wall perimeter around his house,
“It's like that one Adventure Time episode where the Ice King is-is trapped in that cell but it only has two bars! What are these fences going to keep out? Like oooh! Look at me, I'm waltzing right in this half-assed property line!”
He then stops his stride, mouth clipping closed because what's his problem?

Maybe Leon’s design makes me mad because I’m just jealous of him. Maybe he’s gotta be put on the gender envy list

I groaned at the writing of the 19 year old with too many ideals and not enough life experience, but there's a perspective shift in episode 3, so when we see her again, she's not a cringy character anymore

The Headless Eyes (1971)
"You've tried to alienate yourself but, Mal, I'm here, you -"
"Why? For two years I have been trying to live alone and to be able to accept this. Why are you here?"
"Because you haven't convinced me."
"Of what?"
"That you're incurable."
#the headless eyes#headless eyes#eye trauma#eye horror#horror imagery#blood tw#video nasty#1971#american cinema#kent bateman#bo brundin#ramon gordon#kelly swartz#ann wells#larry hunter#mary lamay#linda southern#known with the definite article and without as well as at one point rereleasing as#bloodthirsty butcher#a faintly dreadful exercise in exploitation horror. the passion project of one Kent Bateman‚ father of Jason‚ and latterly a respected#producer; he probably doesn't shout too loud about his directorial debut. shoddily made and written and acted‚ this is saved from true#cinematic oblivion by the spirited central performance of Brundin as the crazed artist with a taste for ocular thievery: he's ott and kind#of ridiculous but like William Metzo in spiritually similar grade z video nasty Mardis Gras Massacre‚ his bizarre commitment to the bit and#uniquely strange performance opposite a supporting cast that's largely subpar makes him the most interesting thing onscreen at any point#a few visual flourishes‚ an unexpectedly curtailed denouement and a brief attempt at drawing out the disconnect between our#protagonist's sensitive‚ artistic nature and his lust for scooping out eyes all add up to a film not quite as dogshit as it might have been#in a worst case scenario; but this is no best case scenario either‚ and frankly this is something of a tough time to get through‚ not#because of any onscreen grue but simply because it's something of a slog to sit through. belongs among the bottom dwellers of the dpp list#im sorry to say (but better than Toxic Zombies at least) (damned with faint praise)

see this is why joe needs to be in a horror game so bad it makes him look stupid, he has all this pent up energy like a mouse cornered by a cat and if he had a gun and was told there would be 0 consequences for using it he'd be riding that high for weeks

What kind of movies do you think Luigi and Bowser would like watching? I can honestly see Bowser being a huge horror movie fanatic while Luigi is more into the romcom movies.

the timeline of frankenstein chronicles is such that two amusing crossover options present themselves to a deranged and silly mind:
burdened by the grief of losing yet another wife, richard sharpe changes his name and becomes a sad wet detective (and those diseases he surely has been picking up along the way finally catch up with him)
richard sharpe and matt truman have another half-brother kicking around england (who happened to have fought with the 95th rifles and at waterloo as well)

🎏 - How close do you have to be to someone for you to share your writing?
Thank you for the ask! From this ask game.
That really depends on the point of view. I mean, everything I write is just. Out there. For free. Here, and on my website. So technically, anyone can read it.
I am also too open (read: talk too much) about the fact that I write, so occasionally the question comes up. I do have a few very close to mainstream works which I could show to whoever without feeling weird about it.
Unfortunately, they all have the website on the back so if I am suddenly gone one day, I left the country because someone IRL read Till Death 😂😅

i always used to watch yt videos of games i wanted to play bc i knew i didn't have the money then and didn't have anything to play games on but now that i have a good computer and some more financial independence. i could start playing all the games that my amnesia has erased
#i could play Amnesia! lmao#its almost like playing the game blind again#i've just been watching a lot of videos about games i'd forgotten about from when i was like 12#like all those old horror games that jacksepticeye would play#somehow i Still remember the exact video that made me start getting into youtube#jack's curse of blackwater videos#specifically the first one#because at the time my only experience with youtube was watching nothing but various cat compilation videos#but then i watched this creepy game video#and the little ghost girl scared me so bad i stopped watching and was like NOT WATCHING ANY MORE OF THAT#but then i couldnt stop thinking about it for three days so eventually i watched The Last Four Minutes#and then the rest of the game stopped doing ghosts and moved to like. aliens. or at least a physical monster#and it just stopped scaring me#it went from scary dark unfamiliar asylum with a probable ghost and body parts everywhere#to cold unfeeling steel facility#i just Stopped being scared after that physical monsters scare me much less#ghosts. now that's a threat you can't track#that one doesn't make noise to let you know it's coming#anyway i wanna play imscared i remember being obsessed with that one when i was watching those videos#i wanna remember the other like. random horror games i got obsessed with#ib and mad father and the crooked man i remember liking#recently i found out that the crooked man has like. a whole series?????#each story is about a different protagonist and monster but the characters from previous games show up as side characters

RE8 Reader boss fight this and that, well what about DLC boss fight 🤨
(i thought of it while running errands this morning and had to get it out of my brain. i may write something longer on it later :D)
after the events of Village, a team is sent out to investigate what remains, but anyone that's sent to that secluded village in Romania never comes back. it's radio silence, and when another team is sent, they also do not return.
that's when the protagonist will go to investigate. they briefly traverse the ruins of the village, the factory, the fishery, the Beneviento estate, and finally, the castle, all while clearly being stalked by something they can't see. a stick cracking behind them as they walk through the early morning darkness leaves the protagonist alert, but nothing ever shows its face.
until the castle, that is. we see the bodies of the protagonist's comrades, deep claw marks in their skin and chests, dried blood splattered along what remains of the walls. they assume only a beast could do something like this, and they prepare for the worst as they move to an open area of the castle where the roof has caved in.
moonlight streams into the room as they carefully get a feel for their surroundings, and when they turn back around, someone with large wings behind them is standing there, the moon's light hitting their back and casting them in a dark shadow. how did they even get there without the protagonist realizing?
they look human enough, though, and they call out, asking for a name. the person does not respond, their head bowed and features hidden as they remain standing there, eerily quiet. it's not until the protagonist lifts their gun that the strange person lifts their head, piercing golden eye staring straight through their very soul.
they don't last long after that; even a trained person would have a difficult time taking down an enraged and mutated Reader. the protagonist joins their comrades in death, and perhaps the last scene is of Reader stalking back through the dark halls, and maybe we're faintly able to see Lunatic following after them :3

now that I’ve resigned from badjob and am taking some time off before beginning good(?)job, my brain is chilling out enough that I can enjoy emotionally anguishing and dread-inducing horror movies again. I just rewatched It Follows and I think I might rewatch Hereditary tonight. I can’t do Skinamarink because without the movie theater atmosphere I will pause every five minutes to pace around my apartment. recommendations based on this sample of three movies are welcome
edit: I’m watching Event Horizon
