This is just for pain purposes but! Arthur and Matthew getting revenge for York by burning the White House in 1812 not realising that Alfred was still inside.
The kicker is this. It was hard to start the fire. They were in a rush. So England decides to use magic.
There are very few things that leave permanent marks on a Nation. Magic is one of them. (There are very few whose magic can summon fire. England is one of them.)
Alfred doesn't know this. He thinks: I'm a Nation now. I don't need to risk anyone's life but my own.
It's the last thing he remembers for a while.
He wakes up months later to a pain he will feel for the rest of his life.
There are first and second degree burns all over his torso - already healed as much as it can be. There will be scars, but he's lucky. He'll have full use of his arms and torso. The burns on his arms were the worst, since he'd used it to shield his face, but they too had healed fine.
His legs were another story. He hadn't even felt anything when he'd been running, adrenaline coursing through his veins. The burns were beyond anything human medicine could heal. It's Ivan who manages to save his legs from amputation, but it doesn't matter. He'll never walk again.
Alfred had already grown distant from his government - only coming back when war with England started anew. Now, he knows he will be hidden away like a broken toy. He leaves on his own terms, instead, disappearing into the night with only a select few knowing how to contact him.
No Nation sees Alfred until 1917.
The United States joins The Great War, and Allied forces demand to see the country's Nation Guardian. President Woodrow Wilson reveals that their Nation Guardian does not have ties with the US government, and had not had ties with it since 1815 - over a hundred years ago.
It's then that he receives a call, a young man delivering a code that's been handed down from president to president. Plus, a request. Might need some help getting up there, boss. This building isn't very accessible.
The man who appears by the door thirty minutes later is unexpected to nearly everyone in the room. Sitting in a wheelchair, back straight with an enigmatic smile and sharp, sharp eyes framed by glasses, is the elusive United States of America.
(And this is where the story would actually start.)

Grian: I wonder who’s ruining my life. Grian: *looks in the mirror* Grian: So we meet again.

hi! any thoughts on antonin dolohov? back in the day i used to have a huge obsession with him, i remember when i was reading deathly hallows for the first time i was so happy when he got mentioned like 3 times in passing... anyway, it's been a long time but i still have a soft spot for this character and was curious how you imagine his background and motivations and whatnot. does he survive the war? and most importantly, why the hell does he always get petrificus totalused, is it a coincidence, a conspiracy or an ancient curse on his family?
thank you very much for the ask, anon! having an elaborate backstory for random death eaters is my bread and butter [i'd walk through fire for augustus "irrelevant" rookwood] and so - yes - i do indeed have thoughts on antonin dolohov.
most of these are connected to the geopolitics of wizarding russia, which - given both the small magical population, the fact that the need to maintain the statute of secrecy seems to drive wizards to accept fairly authoritarian systems of government, and the fact that elves fill the roles of serfs - almost certainly doesn't have the right social conditions to foment a parallel to the 1917 revolution. i'm obsessed with the idea of russian purebloods living bizarre ancien régime lives as the muggle world around them changes unrecognisably.
i know dolohov doesn't actually have to be a russian national - he could be a british citizen with a russian name - but jkr tends to only use non-commonwealth surnames [under which colonial umbrella come names like "patil" or "chang"] for characters who are non-british nationals, like fleur, krum, or karkaroff. and since i'm obsessed with the fact that voldemort seems to spend so much of his travels in the eastern bloc - and that there are two death eaters with slavic-language names, but no order members or ministry officials - i like to imagine that he is.
when it comes to the man, though, the canon incidental character detail which i love is that dolohov is clearly a great pal. he travels all the way to hogsmeade to wish voldemort luck for his interview and buy him a drink after:
"Then if I were to go to the Hog's Head tonight, I would not find a group of them - Nott, Rosier, Mulciber, Dolohov - awaiting your return? Devoted friends indeed, to travel this far with you on a snowy night, merely to wish you luck as you attempted to secure a teaching post."
[dumbledore's just being a bitch here because he's so gutted he doesn't have a group of lads ready to assemble for pints at any opportunity...]
dolohov is also is gassed for yaxley when he achieves his greatest professional triumph:
"My Lord, I have good news on that score. I have - with difficulty, and after great effort - suceeded in placing an Imperius Curse upon Pius Thicknesse." Many of those sitting around Yaxley looked impressed; his neighbour, Dolohov, a man with a long, twisted face, clapped him on the back.
[voldemort - in contrast - couldn't give less of a fuck because he's too busy flirting with snape. so real of him.]
so i think we have the answer as to why he seems so susceptible to the ol' petrificus totalus: he's easily ambushed because he's so busy being impressed by everything else going on around him.
#asks answered#antonin dolohov nation rise up#sorry you failed to kill hermione#at least you didn't get turned into a baby like your pal

a little filthier than my previous chapters, you're welcome! but also this chapter is mostly just sex so enjoy smut lovers!
"then kiss me."
I was shocked at his request.
"I want you to kiss me." Jensen said putting a hand on my cheek.
I noticed his breathing become heavier as I glanced up at him through my eyelashes.
"let me know if you want me to stop." I whispered.
Jensen nodded his head, exhaling a deep breath. I could tell he was nervous, but wanted me to continue.
I stood up on my tippy toes, touching our noses. Jensen fluttered his eyes closed as I let my lips gently brush his. I parted my lips gently connecting his with mine. Jensen was still momentarily but started to timidly move his lips in sync with my own. He was more than willing to let me lead the kiss. I caressed his cheek as our lips moved against each other.
I felt a warmth spread from my lips, throughout my entire body. It was just as simple as our lips touching, but it was enough to set my soul on fire. It was the kind of kiss that inspires stars to climb into the sky and light up the world.
I could tell Jensen was still a little apprehensive. I grabbed his hand, putting it under my chin. Jensen grabbed my chin pushing his lip farther in to mine. I pulled back a little, letting Jensen lead the kiss now.
He was surprisingly great at it for someone who hasn't kissed anyone in years. I could feel myself getting lightheaded from the lack of oxygen but I was finding that breath is of little consequence compared to this feeling. Jensen was the first to pull away, allowing us both to take a much needed deep breath.
I was about to say something, but Jensen crashed his lips back on my own. Every ounce of timidness was now gone, his lips dominating mine. I parted my lips allowing Jensen to slip his tongue in. It took him a minute to get a good rhythm but I didn't mind. Our tongues wrestled for dominance as we poured every single feeling we had in to our kiss.
Jensen pulled away again taking a deep breath.
"do you want to stop?" I asked, wanting to make sure he was comfortable.
He was quiet a moment, just staring deep in my eyes.
"J?"
"I want you kiss me again, kiss me until I'm sick of it." Jensen whispered.
"as you wish."
I wrapped my arms around his neck, bringing his lips down to meet mine once again. Jensen lifted me up, laying me on the hood of the car, not once pulling his lips away from mine. His hands found their way under my dress slowly lifting it up. I hardly felt the chill of the night air, Jensen's kisses making my entire body feel as if it was engulfed in flames.
I moaned in to the kiss as Jensen slid his hand up my leg, stopping just short of my aching core. He moved his lips from mine, sucking in a sharp breath.
"I want to give you everything, all of me." Jensen whispered.
I gasped as he ripped my panties to the side, plunging two fingers inside where I needed him the most. I had no way of stopping the heavy pants that rolled off my lips as Jensen delicately worked his fingers in and out. Jensen slid my dress up some more, so my entire bottom half was at his disposal.
I had an empty feeling as Jensen removed his fingers, hastily undoing his belt so he could free his erection from his tight dress pants. I moaned as I saw his length spring free. In no time at all, Jensen buried himself deep inside of me. He roughly grabbed my chin smashing his lips on my own as he thrusted needfully in to me.
It was as if our lips were molded to perfectly fit each others. It brought a whole new sense of intimacy to our pleasure. Jensen moved his hand down, lightly resting it on my throat as he thrusted harder and faster. I threw my head back with a moan, hitting the hard metal of the hood.
"fuck (y/n), I fucking love you so much." Jensen moaned slamming himself in to me at this point.
I leaned up grabbing his neck pulling his lips back on my own. It was as if everything was falling into place with each brush of our lips. I felt as if I was suddenly a dam ready to burst. Jensen put a little pressure on my throat as he kissed me deeper.
"J, I'm gonna." I moaned.
"I know baby me too."
I let out a moan loud enough to shake the trees as the dam burst, sending shockwaves of pleasure to every single nerve in my body. I could hear my name spilling from Jensen's perfect lips as his entire body shook with his orgasm. Jensen thrusted a few more times before pulling out and collapsing his body on top of my own.
He raised his head, staring at my figure. I was still struggling to catch my breath. He reached a hand up caressing my cheek gently, wiping his thumb over my no doubt swollen lips.
"I love you too Jensen."
Jensen stood up after a moment, tucking himself back in his dress pants, letting my dress fall back down to my ankles. I sat up slowly as my muscles screamed at me with ache. Jensen must've noticed my struggle, for I was held in his arms in no time. He walked over to the wooden cabin steps, taking a seat and placing me in his lap.
I took a moment to admire the view. It was breathtaking.
"it's so beautiful up here." I whispered, as Jensen wrapped his arms around me tighter.
"it was one of my moms favorite places to come, she said she always did her best thinking up here."
"what ever happened to her?" I asked turning my head so I could look at him.
I could see his jaw clench as I knew my words brought up an unpleasant memory. I went to take them back, but Jensen spoke before I could.
"she overdosed, sat dead in her room for at least a week before anyone found her."
I found myself choking back tears at his words.
"thank you for telling me that, I know how hard this is for you." I said placing a kiss to his cheek.
He was quiet as we stared at the view. I could feel a night breeze blowing through my hair as we relaxed against each other. It was another minute before Jensen spoke up again.
"when they found her body, with it, they found a letter she wrote me, she was asking for my forgiveness, but I've never been able to give it to her. I was so mad at her, I was just mad all the time. I pushed people away because I was constantly angry at the world, but then I met you, and I realized I didn't want to be angry anymore." Jensen said, his eyes gazing in to my own.
Jensen leaned down, slowly connecting his lips with mine. It was a short passionate kiss, but he said more in that kiss, than he could ever say with words.
****************************************************
I woke up to Jensen's frantic voice filling my ears.
"what do you mean you didn't find her Cole?"
I was chilled to the bone as I listened to his words.
"I don't see how she keeps escaping us, how is she always one step ahead?" Jensen growled, tugging at his hair in frustration.
I felt bad for Jensen. I could see how stressed this was making him, and for now I was more concerned with him being okay than myself.
"and you're positive the perimeter is clear and safe? I can't risk her safety Cole, I won't."
He breathed a noticeable sigh of relief, I'm assuming because Cole calmed whatever anxiety he was having about returning.
"I'll be back soon, but I want extra security with us at all times, until Riley is caught, I'm not letting her get anywhere close to my girl again."
I pulled the comforter tighter against my body as I heard Jensen's footsteps coming back towards the room.
"I didn't realize you were up." He spoke looking at me as if I was going to spontaneously combust any minute.
"I uh heard you talking." I spoke before biting my lip.
Jensen sat on the bed, wrapping his arms around my body, pulling me on to his lap.
"I mean it (y/n), she got past me once, it won't happen again. I won't let anything happen to you." Jensen said leaning his head against my own.
I nodded my head believing the words that fell from his lips. He placed a soft kiss on my forehead.
"you missed." I spoke leaning my head back.
Jensen smirked as he brought his lips down, slowly connecting them with mine. I turned around so I was now straddling him, making it easier to move my lips against his. Jensen slid his hands up under my sleep shirt, running them up and down my bare back. I ground my hips on his, feeling his erection grow with each movement. Jensen pulled away from the kiss, gripping my hips to still my movement.
"as much as I want to take you right here on this bed, we really should be heading out, everyone is waiting for us." Jensen groaned as I ran my fingers through his hair.
"they can wait a little longer can't they?" I whispered, removing my shirt.
Jensen groaned, bringing his lips down to run across my bare chest.
I knew I had him hooked now.
I moaned tugging his hair as he took my nipple in his mouth, swirling his tongue around it. He released my hips, allowing me to continue to grind on him. I could feel him fully erect now.
"you're gonna get me in trouble." Jensen growled flipping us over so he was hovering above me.
"don't you know life's no fun without a bit of trouble." I smirked, my fingers dancing over his chest, down his stomach towards his crotch.
I licked my lips as I inserted my hand in his sweatpants, stroking him through his boxers.
"you have no idea the things you do to me." Jensen growled.
I quickly removed my hand and grabbed Jensen's shoulders, pushing him over so I could climb on top of him. He groaned as I kissed over his chest, trailing my tongue down his toned ab muscles.
"I see exactly what I do to you." I purred.
I grabbed the waist band of his sweatpants and boxers, pulling them down his legs. I licked my lips as his full length sprung free from its confines. I gazed in his eyes as I parted my lips, gently taking him in to my mouth. Immediately Jensen threw his head back with a groan. I sunk down on him lower, taking more of him in to my mouth.
"fuck don't stop." Jensen moaned entangling a hand in my hair.
I bobbed my head up and down at a steady pace, taking as much of Jensen in my mouth as I could. He bucked his hips up sending his length deeper down my throat. He pulled my hair gently as he thrusted in to my mouth.
"baby stop, I can't make it much longer." Jensen moaned as he pulled me off of him by my hair.
I immediately sunk back down as soon as he released my hair. I wanted to taste him.
A string of curse words left his lips as my mouth worked over him, adding my hand now to increase his pleasure. It wasn't long until I felt hot liquid filling my mouth, running down my throat. I pulled off of him, wiping a bit of his arousal that had managed to leak out. I stared at Jensen as I brought my finger to my lips, licking it seductively, tasting more of his sweetness.
"get up here." Jensen growled, grabbing my hair and pulling me up so I was once again straddling.
Jensen grabbed my jaw bringing my lips down to his in a heated kiss.
"move your panties to the side."
I panted following his order. Jensen grabbed my hips, sinking me down on his once again fully erect member. I instantly bounced up and down on his hips throwing my head back in pleasure.
"I didn't think you could get any hotter." Jensen moaned, as he watched me ride him.
I brought my head back down, my lips instantly going for his neck. I sucked on his skin roughly, no doubt leaving a mark. I could feel Jensen tug my hair as he brought my lips to meet his own. I moaned in to his mouth as he bounced his hips in sync with mine.
"fuck J, so good." I cried out, feeling the knot in my stomach start to unravel.
"that's it baby girl, come undone for me." Jensen moaned, his hands going to my ass, squeezing it roughly.
I slammed my body down on his a few more times before I was spilling my arousal all over him. I moaned, biting his shoulder gently as I rode out my high on him.
I slowed down my thrusts, but Jensen wasn't finished yet. He flipped us over before slamming himself in to me. I felt as if my entire body was on overload. I was tingling from my orgasm as Jensen was thrusting at a hurried pace.
"J, too much pleasure." I all but screamed.
"almost there baby." He groaned.
I noticed his thrusts become sloppy and his pace slow down. A few more snaps of his hips had Jensen coming undone for the second time. He slowed his thrust, extending his orgasm for as long as he could. He pulled out before collapsing beside me.
I laughed as his ringtone echoed through the room.
"someone's in trouble now." I smirked biting my lips.
Jensen got up quickly answering his cell.
"yeah sorry Cole, we're on our way now, somebody got us a little distracted." Jensen spoke as he gave me a look.
I went to the bathroom to freshen up before we drove back to Jensen's. I came out shortly after, not immediately seeing Jensen. I glanced out the window seeing him standing on the deck looking at the view. I walked out the door, wrapping my arms around him from behind. I left kisses on his bare back as he stared at the view.
"I just wanted to say, I forgive you mom." Jensen said to the open wilderness.
I walked to the front of him wrapping him in my arms. He instantly wrapped his arms around me, and we stood there in each others embrace. I looked up at him with concern to see he was already staring down at me.
"I'm not angry anymore." Jensen whispered placing a sweet kiss to my lips.
I looked out at the view one last time before we left. I felt that this beautiful cabin sitting atop this rocky cliff was a metaphor for our relationship. It's said that the best views always come after the hardest climbs.
and this was one beautiful view.
however we weren't quite done climbing yet......

Happy Birthday Scottish actor Richard Madden born June 18th 1986 in Elderslie.
Richard was raised by his mother, Pat, a classroom assistant and his father, Richard, who worked for the fire service. He also has two sisters, Cara and Lauren.
His parents were “hippies”, he says, and their house was pretty open, with friends always piling in for big vegetarian meals. Madden spent a lot of time outside, in the woods behind their house. He has several injuries: he shows me where he shot his dad’s old air pistol and blew off part of his finger, then managed to wreck the same finger when he nailed a wooden plank to his skateboard, then crashed it, so apart from the Hippie parents it was much like most of our own days as bairns.
Despite growing up wanting to be an actor, Richard was very shy during his childhood. To overcome this, at age 11, he joined Paisley Arts Centre’s youth theatre program. In 1999 he was given the lead role as Sebastian Simpkins in BBC1’s children’s TV comedy series Barmy Aunt Boomerang, that’s him aged 12 in the first pic with co-star Toyah Wilcox.. By 2000, he’d made his feature film debut in the Iain Banks adaptation, Complicity.
After high school he was accepted to the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama in Glasgow, Scotland and in 2007, he graduated.
Less than two years later, Richard had a recurring role as Dean McKenzie on the 2009 BBC series Hope Springs. Soon after, he landed the role of Ripley in the 2010 movie Chatroom, a film about a group of teenagers who encourage each other’s bad behaviours after meeting online. In the same year, Richard played punk band Theatre of Hate singer Kirk Brandon in Worried About the Boy, a TV film about the life of British singer-songwriter Boy George.
In 2011 Richard landed his breakthrough role as Robb Stark in the HBO fantasy-drama series Game of Thrones. Also in 2011, he played gay paramedic Ashley Greenwick on the short-lived British comedy-drama Sirens. During hiatus from filming Game of Thrones in 2013, Richard was cast to star as Prince Charming in the 2015 Disney film Cinderella.
Richard won his first Screen Actors Guild award in 2014 for the Discovery Channel mini-series, Klondike. He played Bill Haskell, one of two adventurers who travel to Yukon, Canada during the Klondike Gold Rush in the 1890s. He further enhanced his reputation as a good actor when he appeared in the BBC drama Bodyguard in 2018, the following year he played Lieutenant Joseph Blake in the film 2017 and was Elton John’s manager/lover in the biop of the star Rocketman.
In January 2019 Madden won a prestigious Golden Globe for his role as war veteran David Budd in the BBC show Bodyguard. He also appeared in the 2019 war movie 1917.
We last saw Richard in the movie, Eternals, which was okay, but nothing great, he is one of several actors being touted as the next James Bond,
Last year Richard starred in the Amazon Prime series Citadel, I've watcheit and was not really impressed with it,I think he does pull of the American accent well, but I noticed there have been people saying he doesnt, Madden revealed he spoke in the accent for two years straight to prepare for the series. The show has been earmarked for a second series. Richard is set to appear in the feature film Killer Heat next, it is in post production.
In July 2019, Madden received an honorary doctorate from his alma mater, the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. When asked about his personal life during a New York Times interview following speculation about his relationships and sexuality, Madden stated: “I just keep my personal life personal.”
Madden was recently named one of ‘Scotland’s Sexiest Men' following a new study that identifies the most attractive features for men, he has competition though, also in the running are Bathgate’s David Tennant and Glasgow’s James McAvoy,
Richard, quizzed on what he would like to do next he sad “I’d like to do something in comedy. It’s nice to not… I mean we go to work every day and we’re like, ‘You’re gonna die today,’” he said, adding that he wanted to “do something fun for a minute.”

J. Warren Kerrigan (Jack to his friends) was a popular actor in the early years of silent film. He made as many as 300 movies and shorts between 1910 and 1924.
In 1917, a fan magazines voted Kerrigan the most popular actor. The press dubbed him “The Great God Kerrigan”.
Contrary to Kerrigan on screen persona as a “fast-shooting, buckskin-wearing roughneck”, he had a reputation for being effeminate. Allan Dwan, a director, would harass him on the set. In 1912, while shooting the short “The Poisoned Flume”, Dwan held Kerrigan’s head underwater for the amusement of the crew, forcing the star struggled to break free.
Kerrigan got his revenge. By the next year his star power had risen. He threatened the studio that he would go on strike if they didn’t fire Dwan. Kerrigan got his way.
Kerrigan lived with his mother. When asked by reporters, he said he liked women best when "they leave me alone." As long as he made the studio money, in those early days of Hollywood, they didn’t care. And Kerrigan made them plenty of money.
In 1917 Kerrigan used some of his wealth to build a large house on Cahuenga Blvd, near the Hollywood Bowl. He lived there with his mother. Two years later he met James Vincent, a "juvenile" actor, on the set of “Out of Court”. Vincent, 18 years younger than Kerrigan, was invited to move into the house on Cahuenga. Later Vincent would be referred to as Kerrigan’s secretary or gardner.
In 1922, Hollywood was rocked by off-screen scandals involving movie stars, including Roscoe Arbuckle’s trial for murder of a starlet. The studios hired Will Hays, a Republican politician and Presbyterian minister, to help improve Hollywood’s image with both the public, but perhaps more importantly, Congress.
In 1924, Hayes recommended his "Formula" that would severely control the content of the movies. Plus the studios would be mandated to control the behavior of its stars.
Perhaps it’s no coincidence that Kerrigan decided to retire from acting in 1924. But the next year, he continued to assert his masculinity, by purchasing an ad in Motion Picture Magazine:
“From the time I was 13, I had the support of a family on my hands, Later, my mother and I were so very close that I didn't feel the need of any other companion. It is only since I have been alone that I have had time and opportunity to think of marriage and - so far - I haven't found any girl who would think about it with me! But I will fool 'em! I'm going to catch one, one of these days --- you'll see! J. Warren Kerrigan”
Kerrigan and Vincent would continue to live together at the house on Cahuenga Boulevard. Kerrigan died in 1947 from pneumonia at the age of 67. Sadly, nine months later Vincent took his own life. They had been together for 28 years.

An attempt of a timeline for Demon Slayer
Hi, hello, I am on a brainrot and for the sake of OC creation I decided to put a year and age to as much as I can in Demon Slayer.
What we know?
Demon Slayer takes place in the Taishō Era which goes from 1912 to 1926
But there are two things in the world building that can allow us to determine when the anime takes place in and from there develop a timeline of what happens when.
Beware, this will have spoilers for the late part of the timeline!
The presence of Moga
What are Moga? "The Modern girl" was a movement that occured in Japan during the Taisho Era where young women embraced the western style as a form of liberation from the traditional, men driven ideologies in Japan in search for financial and emotional independence.
We can see a couple examples of what might be Moga when Tanjiro arrives to Tokyo!
Muzan's own wife seems to follow Moga fashion even!
But we can't be sure if that's due to her own choice or Muzan trying to push his wish for Modernity on her, you know that demon denies staying in the past so probably would ask his wife to Mordernize herself as well -Even though between women her age and social status back then, wearing traditional japanese kimonos was the "Normal". Men were the ones who normally to show wealth wore western fashion-
The term of "Moga" was actually not adopted until 1923, but the movement could be tracked to the publishing of magazines as The Housewife's Friend, which was founded in 1917.
So if we follow these mere hints, we could say that Demon Slayer takes place between 1917 - 1923.
But there is something else that could give us THE EXACT YEAR of when the story takes place!
The Yoshiwara District and its destruction
The flashiest arc of the story takes places in The Enterteinment District of Yoshiwara, one of the 3 three licensed and well-known red-light districts in Japan alongside Shimabara and Shinmachi.
Knowing that this is Yoshiwara gives us an excellent reference of what year the story could take place in, and while personally I am not sure if Gotōge did it intentionally or not -Probably it was- The destruction of Yoshiwara in the battle against Gyutaro and Daki could have been easily been hidden by the Demon Slayer Corps by one catastrophe that happened in Japan during that time: The 1923 Great Kanto earthquake
The district of Yoshiwara was destroyed to point of near-obliteration after this catastrophe in Japan. And while a great tragedy, it could give the best smoke curtain to such big battle as the one against the Sixth Upper Moon was, as we know- The Enterteinment District got pretty roughed up during that battle, thanks Gyutaro.
SO! With this, I can say that the year in which the main story of Demon Slayer might take place in is 1923!
So with that settled! We can go into the timeline!
Meiji Era (1896 - 1912)
1898: Jigoro Kuwajima (35) retires from being the Rumble Hashira due to an injury
1904: Suicide of Kagaya Ubuyashiki's father, Kagaya (4) raises as the new Oyakata-Sama
1909: Death of Kagaya (9) 's younger brothers: Senri (8) and Akito (6), and of their mother, by a house fire provoked by Senri.
1911: Ruka Rengoku dies. Leaving Kyojuro (8) and Senjuro (2) without their mother, Shinjuro Rengoku, the current Flame Hashira, starts spiralling into a heavy depression.
Taishō Era (1912-1926)
1914: Kaigaku (11-12) lets a demon into the orphanage run by Gyomei Himejima (18), all the orphans die with the exception of one who frames Gyomei as the killer. Kagaya (14) saves Himejima from execution.
1915: Giyu Tomioka (13) succeeds in his Final Selection.
1916: Gyomei Himejima (20) becomes the Stone Hashira.
Tengen Uzui (16) joins the Demon Slayer Corps.
1918: Giyu Tomioka (16) becomes the Water Hashira. Tengen Uzui is already the Sound Hashira and Kanae Kocho is already the Flower Hashira.
Sanemi Shinazugawa (16) becomes the Wind Hashira
1919: Kanae Kocho (17), dies fighting the Upper Moon 2: Douma.
1921: Shinobu Kocho (16) becomes the Insect Hashira.
The Kamado family is slaughtered by Muzan, Nezuko (12) is the only survivor and turned into a demon. Tanjiro (13) tries to get his sister to a doctor, and on the way are attacked, and spared, by the Water Hashira, Giyu Tomioka (19)
Kyōjurō Rengoku (18) becomes the Flame Hashira.
1922: Obanai Iguro (20) becomes the Serpent Hashira
Muichirō Tokito (13) becomes the Mist Hashira.
Mitsuri Kanrōji (18) becomes the Love Hashira
1923: Giyū Tomioka (21), Shinobu Kōchō (18), Kyōjurō Rengoku (20), Mitsuri Kanrōji (19), Obanai Iguro (21), Sanemi Shinazugawa (21), Gyōmei Himejima (27), Tengen Uzui (23) and Muichirō Tokito (14) are the current generation of Hashiras under the leadership of Kagaya Ubuyashiki (23)
Tanjiro Kamado (15), Inosuke Hashibira (15), Kanao Tsuyuri (16), Genya Shinazugawa (16) and Zenitsu Agatsuma (16) succeed on their Final Selection. The main story of Demon Slayer starts.
1924: Muzan Kibutsuji is defeated and the demons are destroyed once and for all.
And I might have skipped some stuff, or I might even have some stuff wrong but I think this is rather solid? Anyway, you are welcome to take this as guide or just think I'm delulu! After all I'm just a fan with brainrot doing this for the sake of roleplay and OC making lmao

'Didcot Delivers' - for my 60th Birthday por Kenneth Simms Por Flickr: Back in time again and my first serious opportunity to Drive and Fire a steam loco. 27th February 2010 saw me celebrate my 60th Birthday and my wife arranged a 'Special Steam Day Experience' for me at the Great Western Railway Society's Didcot Heritage Centre as near to my birthday as possible. Suitably attired in boiler suit, boots etc, I've just enjoyed a 'Hearty Fry Up' in the 'Mess Room' with my crew for the day. It's 9.30am and pictured is my loco for the day GWR 43xx 2-6-0 5322 in R.O.D livery - easing the coaching stock out of the shed - so my wife could travel in more comfort. During the Great War 1914-18 R.O.D 5322 was one of twenty GWR 2-6-0s built in Swindon in 1917 and sent when new to France. This was in response to a call from the Army in the Summer of 1917 for the British Railways to supply a further 160 locomotives to help with transporting supplies from the Channel Ports to the front line. Here its shown in its original Ministry of Supply livery. After its extensive use across much of the GWR network, including being based at Didcot 81E, its final shed before withdrawal on 24th April 1964 was Pontypool Road South Wales 86G. By 28th December 1963 (after which records were no longer kept) its total recorded mileage was 1,355,262 - so the railways certainly got their monies worth!

February 1917
The snow began to fall just as the sky turned from dull gray to the inky black of night. Flurries danced outside the tall windows of the Janosovski home, softening the edges of the world into a dreamy haze. Inside, the house was warm and bustling with life, the golden glow of lamplight spilling into every room.
In the kitchen, Mateja stirred a pot of thick stew, the rich aroma filling the air and mingling with the faint scent of fresh-baked bread cooling on the counter. She glanced out the frost-covered window, her breath catching at the sight of snow piling softly on the cobblestone streets and the tops of the hedges. It reminded her of winters back in Henford-on-Bagley, where she and Anže had first built their life together.
“Frančiška!” she called, her voice cutting through the cozy hum of the household. “Don’t let that experiment of yours set off another fire.”
“I won’t, Mama!” Frančiška’s voice came from the corner of the kitchen where she hunched over her workbench. The young scientist adjusted her glasses and carefully poured a silvery liquid into a flask. The soft hiss of steam escaped, and she grinned. “Almost there,” she whispered to herself, her fingers twitching with excitement. On the floor beside her, snow boots and a scarf lay forgotten; she had promised Katarina she’d help build a snowman but had gotten distracted.
Upstairs, Antonija was at her desk, the rhythmic clacking of her typewriter filling the small bedroom she shared with Katarina. Snowflakes swirled against the windowpane, catching her eye every so often as she typed furiously. The war had brought a darkness to Europe, but her articles—published anonymously in an anti-war journal—felt like her small rebellion against it. She paused, chewing her lip as she reread the last paragraph. It was raw and bold, and she knew it might be dangerous if her secret work was ever discovered. But she didn’t stop.
In the dining room, the fireplace crackled, casting flickering shadows across the walls adorned with family portraits. Aleks sat at the head of the table, his sweater snug around his broad shoulders as he flipped through his university textbooks. Across from him, Anže hunched over a notebook, muttering to himself as he worked through a particularly difficult problem.
“Papa, you’re overthinking it again,” Aleks teased, his deep voice laced with affection.
Anže sighed and rubbed his temples. “I don’t know why I thought I could manage university at my age.”
“You’re doing great,” Aleks assured him. “Besides, it’s keeping you safe from the draft. That’s worth the headache, isn’t it?”
Anže gave a small smile, glancing out the window at the snow falling steadily. “It is. But I’ll admit, it’s not what I imagined for this stage of life.”
Katarina and Borijov sat near the fire, a chessboard between them. Borijov leaned back in his chair, confident he was about to win, while Katarina studied the board with intense concentration. “Check,” he said with a smirk, tapping his bishop against the table. Katarina frowned but quickly moved her queen to safety, determined to outwit her older brother.
In the master bedroom, Mateja and Anže stole a rare moment of quiet together later that evening. The children were in bed, and the snow outside blanketed the world in silence. Anže poured them each a glass of mulled wine as they sat near the small wood-burning stove.
“I’ve been thinking about home,” Mateja said softly, her gaze on the flickering flames. “About the farm. The snow reminds me of how it used to look after a storm.”
Anže reached for her hand, his rough palm warm against hers. “I think about it too. But here, we’re safe. The children have a future.”
Mateja nodded, leaning into his shoulder. “We’ve made it through so much. We’ll get through this too.”
