sometimes i go into the pr0 n3ssian tag in search of some meta that can help me gaslight myself into believing in that ship but honestly all that’s in there is people complaining about haters and essays on how Nesta deserves to be abused by Cassian actually so

"The Hour of Joy is at Hand"
So I heard that we finally got the gameplay trailer today~ I actually finished this last night but we're going to ignore that and say I drew this for the trailer
The besties! The sleepy and the watcher! I imagine that, in this version of chapter 3, Snoozy Woozy is the "guard dog" of the Playcare and the children. If the children are scared then Snoozy will play a melody from the musicbox in his chest to help ease them. If there is danger, Snoozy will protect them and neutralize the threat :)
With the Smiling Critters, Snoozy acts as their guardian and handler due to his intelligence and obedience to staff. But, out of all the Smiling Critters, Snoozy Woozy seems to be the closest with Catnap. This, in hindsight, makes sense. They share many characteristics and themes, but have a couple differences that complement each other nicely. It's almost like they were made for each other.... :)
Below the cut are the flats :3

moonlight chicken doesn't play around when it comes to their lighting...and alan got his first (?) official warm yellow glow in the last episode...right when he went to talk to gaipa. coincidence?? 👀
ANON, how dare they hit us with that glow up for Alan!
I don't believe in coincidences, not when it comes to fictional characters and world building, so as Canadian actor turned rapper Aubrey Graham would say "We started from the bottom now we here." And it's been intentional:
So if Alan is getting that warm lighting treatment, IT'S LOVE! (I'm on my Alan x Gaipa bullshit)
Let me present my evidence.
When we first encountered Alan, he was in the blue. *picture above* But during the confrontation with Jim and Wen, we really saw his blue shine. Before he showed up, this was the scene:
As soon as Alan popped up, the blue started seeping into the scene.
And started sticking to others
When all was said and done, even Jim had the blue on him.
Now, some might claim that the blue is the moonlight, so, of course, it would be on Jim. Yes, BUT...they had been in this spot throughout the night and the blue didn't shine as much until Alan brought it in the scene. We see this blue in the flashback with Jim as well.
The blue doesn't touch Jim as much, but there is clearly a blue person bringing the coldness.
Back to Alan! When he showed up at the funeral, he stepped into the scene in the blue.
And stayed in the blue portion, but his normal blue coloring wouldn't stick.
When he fought with Wen in the diner, the blue stuck.
But when he looks at Gaipa, the blue dissolves into the warmth, and we don't start seeing it return until Alan watches Wen working and goes to leave.
Once outside, the blue and coldness starts to creep back onto him
While Jim remains warm
Jim, outside or inside, is naturally warm, mostly untouched by the blue.
And he gives that warmth to Alan. By the end of their conversation, Alan appears warmer.
So maybe this blue boy can learn to live in the warmth rather than the cold again
And maybe this former blue boy turned red can help him
Because he already has.

Hey. Hey, do you ever think about the fact that if Legolas hadn't been stricken by the Sea-Longing, if he had still had "peace under beech [and] elm," he would almost surely not have gone to the Undying Lands until many, many years later, long after all his mortal friends were dead?
Do you ever think about the fact that if he hadn't heard those gulls, if he hadn't spent the whole length of Aragorn's reign plagued by the ache in his heart ever pulling him West, he wouldn't have gone until long after Gimli was dead, too? And Gimli would have surely never even thought about asking to go with him, if Legolas's heart wasn't being ever drawn away by that call; it simply wouldn't have been a thing that would have ever occurred to either of them, without the weight of the Sea-Longing hanging over them both for so many years.
Do you ever think about how the only reason they get to have their forever-ever-after happy ending on the other side of the Sundering Sea is because of the wound that the cry of those gulls lanced through his heart?
Because I do.
