Can we get some appreciation for Joey Guthman? Like his lighting design is so fucking good I can not get over it. I feel like from the first time I watched NPMD the lighting was one of the things that really stood out to me and I’m not someone who’s super into that technical side of things. And god his work on Cinderella’s castle… HOLY SHIT MAN. Like it’s insane and I’m obsessed with it. I don’t know I feel like I haven’t ever heard anyone talk about him by name but he’s insanely talented and need appreciation.

my truly toxic trait is that i go out of my way to avoid movies and tv shows set in new south wales. i dont want to see a movie about people living in sydney to me that’s not real australia. we need more tv shows set in random small towns in queensland or some shit. actually i think all australian media should be set in queensland because everything should be at least partially related to me. and im from queensland so therefore our media should be too. boy swallows universe is step one of my 100 step plan to make queensland the state that other countries associate australia with. the olympic is step 14.
