Chapter 4 of Poppy Playtime released. You know what that means!

I really enjoy the game, and have been seriously into the game since it first released in 2021, but I finally sat down and drew a ton of art.

"The Hour of Joy is at Hand"

So I heard that we finally got the gameplay trailer today~ I actually finished this last night but we're going to ignore that and say I drew this for the trailer

The besties! The sleepy and the watcher! I imagine that, in this version of chapter 3, Snoozy Woozy is the "guard dog" of the Playcare and the children. If the children are scared then Snoozy will play a melody from the musicbox in his chest to help ease them. If there is danger, Snoozy will protect them and neutralize the threat :)

With the Smiling Critters, Snoozy acts as their guardian and handler due to his intelligence and obedience to staff. But, out of all the Smiling Critters, Snoozy Woozy seems to be the closest with Catnap. This, in hindsight, makes sense. They share many characteristics and themes, but have a couple differences that complement each other nicely. It's almost like they were made for each other.... :)

Okay so hear me out. (Cause I know my buds will let me hear it for sure!) A bunch of my fav creators talked about poppy playtime and it's newest chapter, so I gave it a watch after such a long time ignoring it. I know that the company, mobgames or studios or whatever, is a mindless cashgrab of a company who is the cause of a bunch of brainrot in the youtube community and they did a bunch of not so great things (nfts stuff). But if I am honest; the game isn't that half bad! I mean, the start was a lowblow but it went up a notch in the next chapter and gradually got better! The game is glitchy af but the characters are charming in their own way! They really nailed it with the adorable designs and unique looks that reference old toys that I had in my childhood. Dunno if that is a nostalgia thing or not tho.

So here is a sona version of me in that game (post hour of joy) I think they call it a huggysona, but I am not so sure.

I may be cringe, but I am too old to gaf <3

Mrs Angel Star ref sheet (redesign) - poppy playtime OC/AU

here the new design of experiment 1304, Mrs Angel Star (aka Alice Lauren)

Alice's new look is she 10.5 taller than the wuggies and a hybrid wuggy which she has four arms that she can carry any object and even the toys, plus she also had a pouch which resembles a kangaroo's pouch and she carries the rest of the toys including her human daughter, abby (or Abigail which was her full name), and also the color of her mouth and blood is cyan blue

Mrs Angel Star was the caretaker of safe haven, along with the toys and her allies kissy missy, doey the doughman, missy mittens and Rosalyn (female player), however she wasn't sure if she can trust poppy to help stop the prototype, but one of her allies was dogday, who was diseased and controlled as a puppet by the ruined critters in the playhouse, when she became defensive, she protects the toys and attacks any enemies who tries to get in to safe haven

Finally came up with a design for my Huggysona. 

She was the Playcare’s art teacher until The Hour of Joy. She continued painting until CatNap kicked her out for “breaking the rules” when in reality he was jealous of her talent. She managed to take some of her supplies with her and lived in isolation until she met her boyfriend Barry Strawberry. 💗

Buster Wuster!

Here is my Poppy Oc!...or so to say Huggysona? I don't remember the term lol.

Anywho. I made him around 2021. He is around 13ft! I loved to think the Wuggies such as Kissy and Huggy were 10ft. As when the game came out I searched it up and say "10ft!" so yep! He is just Kissy Missy and Huggy Wuggy combined with colors. He is also mixed with thr ink demon. I mixed up 3 things I love together! Don't judge me okay? I was immature 3 years ago😒...

This is the first time I drew him. Yes. What the hell? GIRL? HELP?. But yep! He has changed along the way. No beans. Dramatic story. Human appearance. (Okay well...i'm still trying to redesign him-) and emotionally emotional 😍.. Anyways uh that's all I have so far! Maybe I could explain more about him later on? But from then on. I'll upload 2 days. Maybe. GOODBYE!

Just a vent art about my persona with sun and moon there for no reason except I felt like it

I have just been having a shitty month and last week had been awful specifically with my constant knee pain that I found out isn't at all normal and that I have to get it check out soon, I might have to start wearing a knee brace and or if is bad enough I'll have to use crutches

How fun 😃 but yeah not great at all

And then decided to draw my oc/persona with 2 different types of crutches and just with the knee brace

To the person that said they were fascinated by Snoozy Woozy, I give you lore :3

Snoozy Woozy started off as a limited edition Huggy Wuggy toy made to help children sleep, he wasn't even called Snoozy Woozy yet, but he became so popular among tired parents that Playtime Co. decided to make him into his own toy in 1987. With this decision came a few changes, the biggest being you could warm him up in the microwave like those Warmies? I think they're called? Anyway, you could put him in the microwave for a couple seconds and then sleep with a warm Snoozy Woozy in bed.

I wanted him to look fluffier then Huggy and Kissy to convey pajamas? His leg and arm fur are longer to look like oversized clothes and to give him a more droopy appearance. Also more fur = better to cuddle with. He's also got a music box in his torso when he's a living toy. I don't think he'd have it as the chapter 3 boss sense the boss in the trailer seems eerily quiet.

As an enemy, I imagine he's slow and lumbering, because he isn't made with regular stuffing, but with beads, thus making him way heavier than Huggy and Kissy. So he probably wouldn't chase the player, but lures you to him instead.

There is still lots to do for her but I'm making snail-paced progress. I went free-handed (no base or reference pics other than the OG sketches) for this next design, so pardon some of the missing details, please. If needed I'll write up a quick list of old/new (pre-game/during-game) details to help y'all out a bit but I'm still writing her story right now.
