Socialite Series: Cherry’s Master Post
Things that have helped me, that could help you. Here is a master list of my softmaxxing journey!
Body:
J*hn Bent*n’s workouts: Yes he’s an asshole but his workouts really do work. He used to train models and his workouts are life changing.
2. B-12 Lipo salines: These you can consume in a shot (like an injection) or in a saline (go to a GOOD DOCTOR for this). I prefer the saline, and my doctor recommended the 6 week course for me (one saline every week). It burns subQ fat and that was the main reason why I began using those. There is zero side effect to these, acc to my doc. edit: don’t really recommend these anymore. I’ll update this list when I finish my Emsculpt.
3. Diet: More protein, more vegetables, more water and lesser intake of carbs. Carbs are important but i used to over-consume them. Cutting down has helped me a lot. I also did a gut bacteria test (you basically sent a piece of your shit to a lab and they analyse it) to understand what foods worked for me and what didnt.
4. Probiotics for metabolism management
5. Measuring: I stopped tracking weight and began tracking body fat % instead. I feel that this works better for me.
6. Wood therapy: I KNOW. You lot will think its bogus but it helped me and im sticking to it, so there. There’s no wood therapy spa near me, so i ordered the wood therapy tools from amazon, plastic wrap, a waist trainer, almond oil. I looked up videos on wood therapy and lymphatic drainage, and i do it for about 5 mins on my tummy and thighs before my work outs, wrap my torso with plastic wrap, throw the waist trainer on top.

Skin:
Accutane: this helped me tremendously with my acne and my skin is 95% blemish free now. If you are taking this, remember to be disciplined and regular.
Zero alcohol: I stopped drinking completely and its done my skin and health wonders.
Products: Sunscreen + Vitamin C combo in the AM. Retinol + moisturiser at night. Recommended by my dermat.
Hair removal: I refuse to shave because its so uncomfortable so i prefer to wax once in 2 months. Personally, when I began exfoliating my body twice a week - I use a scrub by the Body Shop - I noticed that the hair was growing back slower than it used to. I use a loofah for everyday too. I don’t believe in laser because it’s never just 6 sessions; you do have to have “maintenance” sessions as well post the 6.
Face sculpting: Gua sha on alternative nights. I dont know if this works or is placebo, but I felt like it did.
Body lotion every day. Twice a day sometimes. I swear, it makes you smell good and feel so soft.
Expensive make up: specially, foundation. I’m sorry, i know this could be controversial. But idk what cow semen Charlotte Tilbury puts in her make up, it seriously makes me glow. I’m yet to find a good drug store alternative. A while back, I stopped wearing concealer, and I began using a lighter shade of CT’s foundation as concealer over my normal shade. I feel that because the products are chemically the same, they blend better and don’t react and “peel.” Highly recommend that too. For the rest of my face like powder, blush, eyeliner, I do use normal drug store make up.

Oral hygiene:
I used to have braces. After taking them off, I noticed a difference in my jaw.
Brush, floss, Listrine, tongue cleaner
Mild whitening. I think Hollywood level teeth whitening looks crazy and I want to look as “naturally” beautiful as possible.

Hair care:
For hair growth: as recommended by my doc: minoxidil hair foam 5% w/w Tugain Foam.
High frequency wand before wash days on my scalp.
Moroccan hair oil. I use a tiny amount everyday on my ends after I finish my make up for the day and I swear it makes my hair shine like crazy.
I also got hair Botox done because i used to have curly but absolutely unmanageable hair. I tried to make it work for years but i gave up and caved in to having permanent straight hair and I love it.
I only shampoo twice a day so on days when i workout but don’t shampoo, i use hair perfume. I spray some of it on my brush and run it through my hair. I swear it works.

Overall:
The colour palette theory seriously works. I didn’t realise that wearing the right colours can impact you so much.
Confidence is absolutely key. I seriously recommend going to a group class of some sort if you have the time and just mingling with random people. Social situations are important to gauge your “standing.”
Random but if you have a big nose: grow out your eyebrows / fill them in slightly thicker. I noticed that when I had thin eyebrows, my nose would stand out more but when I made them thicker, it balanced my face out better.
Steam iron your clothes before you wear them. You will look 100% put together.
*IF* you’re aesthetically challenged when it comes to picking clothes, use my rule of thumb: never wear any more than 3 colours at once (remember: IF you can’t put outfits together).

🐈⬛ Lusi’s morning starts her mornings washing her face with a foam cleanser and doing her skincare, emphasizing in using products to protect her skin from the sun as much as she cans, using a whitening cream, however you can use a moisturizer with vitamin c to help with hyperpigmentation instead! always finish your skincare with a lot of sunscreen. She also put on her contact lenses around this time.
Then get dressed and do your makeup, Lusi has a super feminine style! wearing dresses, skirts and blouses with muted colors, plus, she also does her makeup really natural that makes her look like a pretty girl next door! You can also style your hair with some waves to complete the drama protagonist style.
🪨 Lusi never, EVER skips breakfast, she even says that breakfast is the biggest meal she has in the day! so make sure to have a big, well balanced breakfast to have a lot of energy during the day.
Before getting out of her house, Lusi puts sunscreen again, especially on her neck, arms, hands and legs.

🏐 Lusi exercises even if she's on her period, doing yoga to help with cramps and debloating.

🗻 First, she takes her makeup off with an oil based cleanser, she takes her usual shower and puts on a lot of body lotion all over her body.

My current beauty routine
Monday: - am: brush teeth with whitening toothpaste. wash face with microbiome friendly foam cleanser. mix toner with vitamin C serum and apply. use hyaluronic acid serum while face is still damp. use sunscreen. brush hair and use gisou honey infused hairoil. put hair in clawclip. apply deodorant. apply perfume. - pm: dry brush. use clinique balm to cleanse face outside of shower. take cleansing balm off in the shower. use microbiome friendly body wash 2x. double cleanse with BHA gel cleanser. apply babyoil on the body while skin is still wet. step out of the shower. let body air dry. use toner on face. apply chemical peeling on face. moisturize face. apply jojobaoil on face and neck. use deodorant. use perfume. brush hair and massage serum in. do a low ponytail.
Tuesday: - am: the same - pm: the same but with shaving. use microbiome friendly body wash with an exfoliating glove. scrub body down. shave. use microbiome friendly bodywash again.
Wednesday: - am: the same - pm: the same but with facemask. cleanse face with clinique balm. double cleanse with BHA gel cleanser. apply BHA mask. let it sit for 15-30min. wash mask off in shower. do skincare after shower. switch jojobaoil for laneige cica sleep mask and apply thick layer.
Thursday: - am: the same - pm: the same but with shaving and hair washing. wet hair throughouly. apply bond repair shampoo. massage with silicone scalp massager. apply bond repair conditioner. let sit for 5-10min. rinse. wrap in microfiber towel for 40-60min. apply hair serum. apply heat protectant. blow dry with dyson airwrap. use gisou honey infused hair oil. do a low ponytail.

groomed eyebrows make such a difference
clean, file, and apply clear nail polish to your nails for a clean and put-together look
use light makeup to enhance your features, not to try to cover them up or change them
drink more water - as cliche as that is it really helps your skin and is just good for you in general
dry brush before you shower, it's so helpful
brush your teeth at least twice a day, and if you can even thrice. also, invest in some whitening strips or use coconut oil
invest in affordable skin and haircare - you don't need super expensive products to have healthy skin and hair
try out new hairstyles every day (get inspo from pinterest, youtube, etc.)
work out, whether that is going to the gym, doing pilates, or trying out a new sport
always wear jewelry! gold jewelry makes every look come together. h&m is my go-to for cheap but pretty jewelry of decent quality
ALWAYS wear sunscreen, you'll have the best-looking skin even when you're older

What’s their go-to shampoo and conditioner combination ? His favorite hair shampoo and conditioner is natural shampoo that smells of hints of blackberry and nettle and has menthol undertones running through it. His conditioner also smells of blackberries and it is a detangling conditioner.
What other hair products do they use ? There aren't many other hair products he uses on his hair besides his go-to shampoo and conditioner but he does use detangling spray on his hair before it ends up in knots. He never uses dry shampoo on his hair because he dislikes the texture and how it seems to dry it out, so if he has to go days without washing it, he hides it under a hoodie or ties it up into a messy ponytail, but only as a last resort because he prefers to keep his hair wild and free.
What kind of fragrances do they use ? He used to be mad about a fragrance that consisted of blood oranges and dark chocolate until he came across a cologne while browsing the internet that he feels suits him better. It has top notes of blackberries, cinnamon, and dark chocolate, as well as mahogany, sandalwood, patchouli, frankincense, chili pepper, and violet.
What skin products do they use ? He daily moisturizes his skin with honey in it and applies a layer of factor 50 sunscreen on his skin, should he be forced to go out during daylight hours. His makeup removers also have honey in them.
How do they treat their skin conditions ? He doesn't have any skin conditions besides having a strong aversion to sunlight but that is mainly because of his sensitive eyes and he covers them in shades during daylight hours .
What’s their go-to toothpaste? He hates mint flavors and uses a teeth whitening toothpaste that is strawberry flavored.
How do they tend to their nails ? He is really proud of his nails and he keeps them long and pointed. They are always painted in black lacquer nail varnish and he takes calcium supplements to keep his nails in tip top condition.

this is just what i’ve learnt/done
- find a hairstyle that suits your face. for the longest time i thought shoulder length with a middle part was my look but then i got bangs and grew out my hair and bam. it’s just really suits my face
-if you are an avid coffee drinker like me, then crest teeth whiting strips are your best friend. they’re a little costly but def cheaper then getting them professionally whitened.
-supergoop tinted sunscreen is AMAZING. it makes your skin look dewy and angelic
-lash serum! i’ve been putting it on everyday for a year now and i don’t really use fake lashes anymore
-better then sex mascara and aquaphor make your lashes amazing!! (not together tho)
-aquaphor in general is a god send. that and tinted vaseline for your lips
-find a scent and stick to it
-confidence is key!!! if you believe you are beautiful then you’ll really shine!! i use to hate taking pictures but when lockdown started i began doing at home photoshoots and that boosted my confidence xs 1000. the back camera is still my enemy tho. i love the front camera 🫶
