Is there a specific reason why people don’t like the You & I music video? Is it just cause Ben directed it?

I’m trying to research it but I’m not finding anyone explaining, just saying fuck Ben Winston

🤣🤣🤣🤣 This made me cackle. Everyone hates him so much. LOL!

Mainly, people hate that video because it turned out Ben had copied the idea from a smaller band and tried to pass it off as some brilliant idea he’d had.

Because they clearly shot the video when it was freezing out and the boys look absolutely miserable. There is a series of photos of Harry with a hot water bottle and a giant coat and he looks like he’s dying and has kk just been rescued from being stranded on an iceberg. So, people always joke, “remember when Ben tried to kill Harry?”

I think it may be less about the video itself, and more about Ben just being douchey for as long as we’ve been aware of him.
