✨ Announcement time! ✨

So, small change — due to a name conflict on Webtoon (turns out there’s already a series called Immortal Affairs, oops 😅), I’ll be renaming my upcoming webtoon from Immortal Affairs to Divine Affairs.

Honestly, I’m growing fond of the new title, it might actually suit the story even better! Still, it’s on me for not double-checking earlier.

To mark the update, here’s a test illustration with the new logo! (Funny story: I originally made this as a cover for my new phone, but it fits so well with the vibe of the comic, I decided to roll with it 💖)

Thanks for your patience as I slowly go through and update older posts from “Immortal” to “Divine”!

A tired dad

I know that in the myths, Athena is born from Zeus’s head fully grown and fully equipped—but for the Immortal Affairs universe, I’d rather give some space to a young Athena as well. For two reasons: first, I really struggle to imagine a fully adult woman (especially one as muscular as I’ve drawn her) bursting out of Zeus’s head in full armor with weapons. I mean, even if Zeus is tall, there’s really not that much of a size difference between him and his daughter! And second, I think we’d lose the chance to explore the deep emotional bond that forms between a father and a daughter—a bond that’s actually present in the myths too. Besides… can you imagine little Athena and little Ares bickering loudly from morning till night, right on top of their father’s head? Come on, that’s priceless 🤣
