Oh dear...

Alex is attending one of the most prestigious magic academies in the country, on the orders of his parents of course. Even though Laiz Fier Academy reviles even the name of the only type of magic he's ever been good at. His parents swore he'd find another specialty here, and he'd let himself believe them, like the idiot he is. He's scraping by in classes. Barely. At least he's managed to make a couple of friends and figure out how to sneak into the library stacks to find books that will actually help him hone his skills.

However, Alex realizes now there's a reason why it's not recommended to do your first summoning alone. Because, while he does manage to summon a demon, it doesn't exactly end up in the silvery urn he'd laid in the center of the pentagram.

So now he has a talking, demonic Furby to hide. One that, despite its too-wide eyes and disconcertingly smooth voice, Alex thinks he might be developing feelings for.

Alex knows he should figure out how to undo it and send Willie back to Hell or wherever #but then he has to rush to hide him first before he gets caught #and then they end up chatting a fair amount over the next few days #because Alex is a world class insomniac and Willie just doesn't sleep #but Alex is kept too busy with classes and stuff to go back to the library to find the stuff to sort out the mess he's made #and if Willie knows how to do it he isn't sharing #(he totally knows but it's his first time in the human world in ages and Alex is nice and kinda cute tbh so...)#and...they become friends? And also develop massive crushes on each other?

I'm definitely not the only queer person who's kinda wary of Christian ppl they encounter online right?

Like I see a profile that clearly states they're Christian and they post like Bible verses and shit and I'm just. Hoping they're not queerphobic. Or saying some dumbass shit like "hate the sin love the sinner" or whatever while pretending that's not queerphobic

If they're interacting with me first it's pretty safe to assume they're not gonna be like that bc I'm very obviously queer (🏳️‍🌈 + pronouns in bio) but if it's someone who hasn't interacted with me at all I kind of instinctively avoid interacting with them out of fear of them being that way. Y'know

#ramblings #i think it's bc even tho i've never been religious and my family isn't like a super uptight christian family #i have encountered a preacher who was homophobic and transphobic before #he's puerto rican too which just makes me disappointed in my people tbh #i grew up surrounded by a lot of accepting ppl both within and outside of the family #as well as a couple gay/trans ppl #i was always taught that that's just the way some ppl are and that we should respect that #even if we didn't fully understand everything and weren't up to date with the latest most accepted terminology and stuff #ppl were just respectful and let others be themselves #so it's extremely hard for me to understand why other ppl would be queerphobic #i mean. i kinda get it. it what they were taught growing up. just how i was taught to be accepting and respectful #but why ppl would continue to teach that to their kids and perpetuate queerphobia is really what i don't get #like. accepting that ppl different from you exist and that's ok isn't going to kill you #maybe learn abt the world from other sources besides the bible and try to see different perspectives #instead of shutting yourself off to just one way of thinking and hurting ppl in the process #anyways. i think it's also bc i've seen too many really religious ppl on the internet who are also queerphobic #and they have these big platforms of ppl who support them and share their views #and like. i shouldn't generalize. but they paint an ugly image of christians in general #also like. christians throughout history don't have the cleanest track record #but i know a lot of christians nowadays aren't like that. in fact i'm willing to say most aren't #but still it's like. better be safe than sorry y'know #idk man

#the bin #of qll my disabilities tourettes is the one i have the most to say about. and its the one i deal with the most social bullshit from #i hate how people treat me not ticcing like its a good thing. its good for you. for me its miserable.#and how they feel entitled to the knowledge of how my tics have been #i hate so much when ill do something very strange or disruptive and immediately get asked if i ever did that at work #every conversation about it feels like im being made fun of or looked at like something so other #its either treated like a nuisance to others. a source if entertainment. or like a horrible curse i have thats bad because of the social #impact it has and others treating me bad. insulting pity. they treat it so different to all my other disabilities #the other ones are treated like a quirk of the body that sucks. like how people i know talk about their own pain #but pain caused by tics is different. people talk wbout it not like a disability but like a magic curse #and no matter how much i ask for it to be ignored by others they refuse. they act like theyre helping me by asking me wbout it #or giving commentary qbout it when i tic. leawve me alone. you treat it liek a tragety because i have to live with such a visable thing #that others dont understand and deal with weird looks and commentary. and then give me weird looks and commentary #i hate it. tourettes itself kinda sucks bc tics are physically unpleasant but its tolerable. thats just how my kife is #what isnt tolerable is howw people act about it. nobody in my family is normal wbout it. after iw was diagnosed its like they all saw me as #a different person. ugh

hmmmm.. storm sorcerer & swap monk for a nature domain cleric class.....

#the monk thing was kinda analogous for aura esp w the healing aspects #& divine soul sorcery (while analog to houou's blessing) gave him access to cleric spells #nature domain cleric would have him still have cleric spell access + more animal communication spells #atp i could v well keep him just a cleric but the natural self-sourced magic ability feels key enough to have storm sorcery as the base #coz ive got hanako & her side of the family as latent aura adepts #& that latency gets analoged in 5e with the way of mercy monk class w the grasp on the abilities coming naturally #with bg3's subclass limitations that analogness gets shifted to the storm sorcery line #& it all still fits nice & neat #this is mostly for any potential future playthrough purposes bc honestly who give a fuck if the subclasses conform to game mechanics in rp #but i also do think it's something interesting to explore #my current 5e sheet for him fits most accurately & it's really mostly just for satoshi as he is in pokéverse; houou n aura & all #so i technically Dont have a strictly dnd verse #so i could give him these subclasses for dnd/bg3 & keep my 5e sheet for pkmnverse #hm. hm yeah i'll do that. good talk‚ me.#ooc. pkmn is autistic culture.#v. baldur.#there we go
