Ceasefire or not, families in Gaza still have a long, long way ahead of them. Israel made sure the majority of homes, infrastructure, agricultural land, medical facilities - are all destroyed.

via NYPost: Immigration and Customs Enforcement is preparing to launch a “big f–king operation” across sanctuary cities — including Chicago and New York — immediately after President-elect Donald Trump’s inauguration, multiple sources told The Post.

The way some ppl talk abt game!maria vs movie!maria is so weird to me bc like ppl go on abt how the movie shows her "being a kid" as if game canon hasn't been doing that (especially in recent media)

Like they just do it differently. Movie!maria does fun things like rollerskating and doodiling funny pictures on shadow's test tube and building blanket forts to watch movies in. Meanwhile game!maria is mostly shown going to school being excited abt her classes and geeking out over the aurora borealis and being so excited to show shadow that she overexerts herself running to take him there. They're basically just being shown as different types of kids

Also. Saying the (apparently) not-chronically-ill version of the character gets to "actually be a kid" more than the original chronically ill version is. A bit strange. Y'know. Smells a bit like ableism in here

A Home Reduced to Rubble, Dreams Buried Underneath 🏚️

Our home, where we once felt safe, built our memories, and nurtured our children's dreams, is now nothing more than a pile of rubble. 🏳️ The sound of bombs and missiles was faster than our fleeing footsteps, and we barely managed to escape with our trembling souls. 😢

The Journey of Displacement… From Destruction to the Unknown 🚶‍♂️🛑

We were forced to flee to the south of Gaza, seeking refuge in an overcrowded school 🏫. But here, nothing resembles life:

No clean drinking water 💧🚱

I am not asking for much. I am simply asking for a chance at a dignified life for my children 🏠💝, a roof to shelter them, clean water to quench their thirst 💦, and medicine to ease their pain. 🩹

Thinking abt Eterna and some of its Themes™️ (that I have not talked abt at all but drive me insane)

So Eterna is in a post-apocalypse right? The previous dominant sapient species (humans and anthro animals) have died off, leaving mostly wild (non-anthro) animals and plants yeah

That's a lot of death. A lot of dead bodies. A lot of decay

You know what thrives off of decay?

Mushrooms. Fungi. Mold

So basically the new dominant species in Eterna is mushroom ppl (as of now, considering maybe having other creatures later for variety, all sharing a similar theme of course). With the death of the previous species, a new one is born. In their death, they fed the new species and gave them what they needed to thrive and eventually stand on their own two feet (almost literally)
