Hello friends 🇵🇸💔🍉
Hello, I am Hanan from Gaza. I am married and have three children. I had a clothing store that was destroyed, but it was my source of income. We survived the death of the investigator four times, thank God. My house was destroyed and my children and I were left homeless. I ask for help, but it is not easy to buy a tent, which costs $1,300, due to its high cost before the arrival of winter and the extreme cold, so that we can evacuate after that. My family and I travel outside Gaza and live in safety 🙏 💔🇵🇸🍉

Fahed (@/fahed-2) & Reem (@/reem-reem-0), fled south together with their children & their children's grandmother. Fahed's sister's family of 5 fled south as well, and the 13 of them remained together. But after 14 months of surviving hell as a unit (and nearly reaching their campaign goal) the family is now facing one of the worse decisions imaginable: who will be able to evacuate Gaza and who will be forced to stay behind.
There may be an opportunity for evacuation soon, but they're bracing for separation, with Fahed staying behind with his sister and her family. It's hard enough reunifying in Gaza, but with the border with Egypt between them, there's no telling when (or if) they'll ever see each other again. It shouldn't be a choice this family has to make: who survives, who may not. Their kids shouldn't be forcibly separated from their dad, nor Reem from her husband.
Fahed & Reem are some of the kindest, gentlest people ever, and their kids are dazzling, just absolute sweethearts. They've all lost so much and experienced too much, and somehow, kept finding a way to endure.
But right now, they might lose each other, so please: pitch in what you can, help the Shehabs stay together 🙏

Seeing so much praise for the movie makes me feel insane bc pretty much all the changes they made to shadow's backstory and lore make me not want to watch it. Like they're at best unnecessary and at worst completely undermine the major themes of his original story
That and ppl going to see it in theaters and giving paramount their money. I want to assume most ppl just aren't aware of paramount being shitty but idk
#ramblings#neg#if you're gonna watch at least pirate it. there's a recording already out somewhere#tho from what i've seen it's not worth even that imo#also it's making the main tag unbearable to scroll though. can we move on please. i wanna hear abt other things now

Help Us Evacuate Gaza
Hello everyone, I am Ghazi Alamoudi from the northern Gaza Strip, displaced in Deir Al-Balah, and living in a tent with my family.😢🥺
My family and I are facing unimaginable hardship due to the ongoing war in Gaza. We have lost our home, my career, and our sense of safety. Now, we are living in a small tent, trying to survive each day amidst the chaos and destruction.
Before the war, I worked as an instructional designer, building a future for my family. But that life has been shattered. We are now desperate to find safety and start over. But we need your help. We are trying to raise funds to escape Gaza and rebuild our lives in a place where we can finally find peace.
Before — This was my life before the war, filled with hope and promise.
After — This is what remains after the destruction.
What once stood as a symbol of hope, my Home is now nothing but shattered walls and debris. I had just finished building our home, a place where I could finally feel safe. But in the blink of an eye, everything was destroyed by the ongoing war. The sounds of explosions filled the air, and I fled with nothing but the clothes on our backs. Now, where our memories and dreams once lived, all that remains is devastation.
Vetted by @gazavetters, my number verified on the list is ( #89 )
I KINDLY ASK ALL OF YOU TO HELP ME AND DONATE IN THE LINK PLEASE

ibrahim is a wonderful young man that i have had the privilege of being in contact with nearly every day for over two months now. throughout his struggles to raise funds for his family, he has been displaced, been treated cruelly online, had his accounts reported, fallen ill, gone to bed hungry, seen loved ones killed, and many other unimaginable forms of suffering.
as winter sets in, prices continue to rise and physical conditions continue to worsen. he's told me it's been raining recently. he has not been able to evacuate safely. he's only recently started to recover from an illness that left him bedridden. his current goal is €50,000. he needs about €20,000 to reach that.
we've raised that much money before, we can do so again. please consider him part of your family this holiday season and donate even a little money.
he is verified #25 on this list.

Hey remember when I said I was turning Eterna into a "just for me" thing?
I lied
Have a sneak peek of Zephyr's new design + a wip of Siren's
#wip#it's so lonely in here.... i need to show ppl my dolls......#my dolls from my silly dollhouse in my brain.......#i might be cooking with these revamps chat#i'm gonna post all of the eterna ocs together once i'm done with all of them#still need finish siren of course. and do sage and the little traveler and null#OH ALSO the little traveler is getting a new name. i think i've settled on lumi :]#i wanna talk abt the new lore too. it's still kinda a wip and not super deep or anything but tbh it wasn't that deep originally so whatever#also i tried a different style for zephyr that i'm probably gonna do with siren too. basically making most of their bodies lineless#bc they're not made of truly solid material#i think it's interesting and adds some variety#anyways i need to go to bed

The imminent release of sonic 3 has me thinking back on the first two movies and it made me wonder
Would the first sonic movie had been so well received on its writing if the design had not been changed?
From what I can tell the common consensus from both sonic fans and regular ppl who just watched the movie is that it's good. At worst, it's just kinda mid, not *bad*. I myself liked it a lot when I first watched it (tho I've grown more critical of it and admittedly really cynical abt the series since, but that's besides the point)
But if they'd kept the original "ugly sonic" design, would it had still been as well received? I think the obvious answer is no, but would the only major criticism be the unappealing design? Or would ppl had been more critical of other aspects of the movie as well, now that the improved visuals aren't there to distract from or lessen any other issues the movie had? Would we still have gotten the sequel? Or the knuckles series and the third movie?
I'm not really sure. I think we wouldn't have gotten the sequels or the spinoff series, but the criticisms? I want to say yes, ppl *would* have been more critical of the rest of the movie, but I don't know if I can fully articulate why I feel that way
Idk. Just something that's been on my mind today
#ramblings#idk man#i think they should've kept the ugly design i wanna see how far the movies would've gotten with it#just out of curiosity

Help Raghad's family evacuate Sudan!
Raghad El Niwairi has been fundraising tirelessly for over a year to help her family leave Sudan safely. The family has elderly and disabled members who are struggling with the immense strain of multiple displacements, as well as children and adolescents who are at particular risk of violence—including the possibility of being abducted as child soldiers.
Travel is expensive, and in addition to flight tickets and legal papers, the family also have continuing daily expenses for shelter, food, clothing, hygiene products, etc. Raghad and her family in Canada are already doing everything they can to provide for their Sudanese family, but conditions are becoming more dire by the day. Famine due to RSF crop burning is causing food prices to skyrocket, and Raghad's family are continuously fleeing from one displacement to the next. These are incredibly difficult conditions to live under; this family can't wait any longer. They urgently need the safety and stability that evacuation alone can provide.
This fundraiser has a very attainable goal of $25,000 CAD, and is just over halfway completed; let's get them over the finish line and out of harm's way. Donate and share now to get Raghad's family to safety.
This fundraiser was sent to me by one of Raghad's friends-of-friends, and I'm confident in its legitimacy and urgency. Feel free to DM me if you would like to get in touch with the family friend. More details in the GFM.
$12,571 CAD / $25,000 CAD
