Gotta appreciate how the peacock defense mechanism is to unfold into a giant many-eyed eldritch horror. It's an illusion sure, but imagine from the perspective of something it did work on. This bird just multiplies in size into a bulging, moving mass covered in eyes all staring you down at once.

Terrifying. Not very effective in practice, but if it worked better it would be terrifying.

And the medic replying "Whenever you want, meine liebe!", AND SO ON???

Bunch of spies calling engineers "Darling", engineers calling soldiers "Sweetie", soldiers calling medics "sweetheart", medics calling snipers "Liebe", snipers calling scouts "love", AND SO ON?!?! WOULDN'T THAT BE SO GREAT?!

New partner taunts for kiss, hugging, cuddling, flirting, 😋, etc!!!

New dating maps!!, imagine a map called something like "Paris evening", and it's just a map where it's night in Paris in a place where there are a bunch of restaurants and tables where you can sit with another players to have dates!!. Imagine a map "Battlefield picnic", where it's just some big hills covered with grass, flowers, some forest around it and of course, picnic tables and stuff where you can sit with other players... It would be so romantic😔😔😔...

New cosmetics like a wedding dress, suits, rings, kiss marks🤭, matching necklaces?!?!

Even weapons, stuff to do with cupid (I know that sniper has a bow and arrow, shh), even some kind of weapon that would leave lipstick marks on them XD.

So in my current Psychonauts fixation while I work on the damn massive fanfic demanding to be let out of my head, I’ve been revisiting a lot of the little things about the games.

Case in point: How you get more health in the 1st game.

You rescue brains, talk to the kids after doing so and your health increases. The explanation the game provides is that the kids start thinking about your quest and that increases mental energy.

Doesn’t this mean that technically, in the Psychonauts universe, thoughts and prayers ARE actually helpful? (At least when directed at a psychic)
