god i’m 23 i’m not even that old but i think sometimes about 15 year old me and like if she could see me now, holy shit. she would go crazy!! she would be like what do you mean we got into grad school to pursue our dreams?? what do you mean what felt like a literal dream might be a viable career path? what do you mean people have seen you work and believe in your talent and skill? all that is to say if you’re a teenager it gets so much fucking better. like you cannot possibly imagine the person you will be and the life you will create. it sounds corny but it’s so fucking true. *grabs your face and looks you dead in the eye* you can fucking do it. i believe in you. when i was 15 i couldn’t imagine graduating college and now im months away from a masters degree. life is beautiful and unpredictable and will surprise you in both awful and amazing ways so fucking stick with it!!!

Wine theme modern street Art in Lviv city, Ukraine. Several atmospheric wine boutiques were around. I liked to drop in as a city guide during wine tours and to hang out with my best friends in late evenings.

Street "accessories" in general were a strong point in Lviv, when murals, cafe signs, terrace furniture, lanterns, flowers and other outfit added so much to what the city already offered: great architecture, rich history and firm traditions.

It's sooooo interesting how in Harrow the Ninth, Harrow is constantly noting all the ways Ianthe is failing at femininity: the awful frilly nightgown, the clothes that don't fit (in the bust, in the hips), her hair, her attempts at flirtatious behavior, the specific way she is sucking up to Augustine etc. And like, this is a weird house for Harrow to be throwing stones from, sure, but I think it makes way more sense after The Unwanted Guest gave more context to soul permeability wrt the status of Naberius Tern, because it is now arguable that Ianthe is essencially being forcemasc'd throughout the entierty of HtN -- we just dont know about it bc Harrow dgaf. And this is doubly interesting to me because when we next see her in Nona the Ninth, she is now Ianthe Naberius, a Tower Prince in masculine dress and leather trousers and boots, and she no longer has any of that sort of gender failure going on.
