You know if Jason did become Talia's son I have the idea that he would be someone very famous among assassins and mercenaries, but in the hero community He is an anti-hero who must be captured and nothing more and is also a popular gossip item when it comes to hero failures (along side Roy of course).

As for the heroes he is just a red hood, Crime lord and anti-hero who has a special and complicated relationship with Batman, But for assassins and mercenaries who know enough about the world he is

I genuinely think that by some paradox DC was WAY more inclusive and "woke" in the '90 than now. Like so many POC characters, the firsts queer relationship in comics, many more disabled characters and representation than today. Not all of them were written well, mind you, but at least they were doing something instead of just showing up during Pride moth and then disappearing in limbo forever after a couple of cheesy lines. And we are not talking enough of all the disabilities erasure in the last years.

Not to be a bootlicking socialist, but the way succession showed how the 1% interact with, and view those of lower social standing is so scarily accurate. It’s not like in the movies, where they viciously bully them. it’s worse bc they don’t even do that. They don’t even see them as real people. Shiv jokes about using hand sanitizer after shaking a strangers hand and is surprised when it’s not received well. Kendall doesn’t see the waiter he killed as a whole person until he’s literally forced to enter his childhood home and see his baby pictures. The poor are inconsequential beings to them.

Me: yeah so this fanfic is a slow burn about Roy and Jason falling slowly but deeply in love with eachother, learning to see past their projections and defensive walls and discovering tenderness within eachother, all symbolized through the horse movie tropes and a sideplot of the horses falling in love because apparently I have a public to please.

My word doc, mysteriously: Cheshire was so beautiful. Jade Nguyen breathed air and it was extremely aesthetically pleasing. Her skin, clear of any blemish, seemed to soften the shape of the atmosphere. The curve of her eyelids curled like a shadow over her deep dark eyed that seemed to captivate the light. Her lips parted, fascinating glimpse of breath, and it was like her voice was a lifeline, a silver thread to hold onto and breathe out in tune as he stood at the frontier of her horizon of events.
