My opinions on the “Anti Piastri” thing!

Well it… sucks in my opinion. yeah sure, Oscar may not be the best driver ever. But I do feel like it’s useless to make an entire tag based on just blatantly hating on a driver for stuff he was basically ordered to by McLaren, same with Lando.

Honestly, for me “anti piastri” is basically just a tag created by Lando fangirls on either tumblr or heck even the official McLaren discord server who decided to replicate Team LH’s Abu Dhabi 2021 meltdown, except switch it with Hungary 2024. Which honestly is giving us Lando fans a bad wrap

This claim personally bothers me, yes Oscar did win the Grand Prix by team orders, in which brings me to say this. Don’t hate the driver, hate the team, yes, I wholeheartedly agree with what I just said, don’t hate Oscar piastri for McLarens’ very poor team orders since Oscar can’t control what happens up with the strategists, and it’s not like he was on the radio saying “I want the win” because well- let’s be honest, when has a driver ever said that? Seriously, that’s not something he or anyone could say.

To be honest (I’m gonna bring in Team LH again) anti piastri’s version of Abu Dhabi 2021 is Hungary 2024, there’s pretty much nothing we can do now about the race (this part of my yappering is pretty much bad I’m sorry)

(I don’t feel like writing more of this right now since I wanna eat dinner so I’ll end it off here, but if you want more reasonings to why I don’t approve of anti piastri please slip into my dms and fight me over it because this is just- childish, also if I got anything wrong please let me know, I’m tired and I had honestly a shit day and this thing didn’t make it better for me)

I never get fanfics that needs Izuku to not use "Kacchan" to call Katsuki. I mean sure, he can call him Katsuki but-

Kacchan.

I think it's a preference to me for fics to have Izuku keep calling Katsuki, Kacchan for the rest of their life while Katsuki.. calls him what ever he wants-

As long as Kacchan is uttered by Izuku, I am happy

ANOTHER SONIC DREAM

You know how people are always saying how they have the most vivid dream where they fall in love with someone or they have a child and it's so realistic and when they wake up they're devastated because it wasn't actually real?

That happened to me this morning. But of course it wasn't about a person or a baby or what have you. It was about Sonic lol.

I dreamt I was rewatching episodes of Sonic Boom, and during my marathon there was an episode I hadn't seen before. In it, Sonic was really sick and groggy but he refused to get any rest. This of course made him only more tired, groggy and dazed. But that's our stubborn boy, right?

So anyway, during the battle Amy does what she always does, kick Badnick-butt. And maybe because Sonic is a little loopy, he gets overly enthusiastic about it

Then unexpectedly he just rushes Amy and full on kisses her!

And in my dream I'm screaming, I can't believe I'm watching this! The kiss is so comedically romantic and over the top, too. The background fades out, Sonic and Amy are floating and spinning, Tchaikovsky's "Romeo and Juliet" is playing, Badniks are flying in slow motion in the background and exploding into fireworks.

Then the shot fades to reveal that Sonic was JUST HALLUCINATING BECAUSE HE'S SO ILL AND GOT BRAIN FOG

But it didn't matter! It was a super well animated kiss in the Sonic show and in my dream I'm like "WHY HAVE I NEVER SEEN THIS? WHY AREN'T THERE GIFS OF THIS? WHAT WHAT WHAT" and so I rush on to tumblr to scream about it with you all.

AND THEN I WAKE UP. IT WAS A DREAM. A DREAM!!!

The real tragedy of TGWDLM is that Paul was minutes away from being carried off the island.

Emma has a pole through her thigh. Even assuming that the pole is helping stop the bleeding, she had like max fifteen minutes to live without medical care. Not to mention the internal bleeding; she is coughing up blood. She's either going to bleed out or drown in her blood, whichever comes first.

The scene after the helicopter crash is about three minutes long already. Emma was likely saved sometime within the next five minutes after Paul left.

Think about that. If he had stuck around for five more minutes, he would've gotten off the island. I can just imagine Emma realizing the PEIP is here, and screaming Paul's name because she knows he's about to go on a suicide mission. But he's too far away. He can't hear her.

So I just saw a post from someone saying that Sonic movies 'don't need romance' and that they hope there isn't Sonamy in Sonic 4 because they, and I quote, 'don't want to see it'

I'm not even going into how saying something shouldn't be in media because they personally don't want it is a dumb take, I'm really sick of people acting like romance is something that automatically ruins things, or like romance is something that is being shoved down people's throats when actually romance is becoming more and more rare, especially in movies.

So let me just say this, and I say this as a hardcore Shadamy shipper

I hope Sonamy becomes canon in the Movie Universe, whether they go the classic route of Amy developing a crush on Sonic or if they flip things around and Sonic falls for her first, I really hope Sonamy is End Game. It's about time that after so much teasing and hints from SEGA and the stance of keeping it one-sided, and other Sonic media creating original characters to become Sonic's love interest while simultaneously pushing Amy to the background, Sonamy and Sonamy shippers deserve this, they deserve finally a version where they are properly canon, it's about time and the movies are perfect for that.

Was there every any hope for Dream and Nightmare?

Could they have stayed in their universe, stayed together, stayed happy?

Maybe. But somehow, I can't see it, at least not after the village comes into the picture. They might have been able to stay in their own little bubble forever, but as soon as that outside force exists, the clock starts ticking.

It was Nightmare who couldn't take it anymore. But it could have easily been Dream. Either way, it was only a matter of time. I don't think there was any avoiding it, not really. Not in their situation, not with who they are.

Nightmare. The scapegoat, the dark one, the moon, the night. Tied to his brother by his very name, because even though he wasn't a nightmare, he's Dream's opposite, and that is all he was ever seen as by others. The dark to Dream's light, the negativity to Dream's positivity. Always defined by his brother, even before he was hurt for merely existing. Did he ever really get to be his own person?

And Dream, the golden one, the perfect one, the kind one, the sun. Always so helpful and positive. Always in demand, because who doesn't want to be happy? Their happiness is his responsibility. So he smiles, he helps, he conceals all the stress and sadness and anger and grief. He can't be seen with negative emotions, he can't effect others with his own feelings, he can't let his own feelings or needs or self matter when there's always other people who need him. So he keeps up that sunshine mask, keeps all the clouds and rain and storms locked in the dark where nobody can see them.

You can't maintain masks like that under enough built-up pressure. Eventually, something breaks.

Maybe they still had a chance. Broken things can heal, after all. Maybe they could have helped each other, grown, figured out a way to make things better.

Or maybe they were doomed from the start.

All I know is that if one didn't break, the other would have eventually.

Really hoping that Sonic 4 isn't just a sonamy fest. It was already annoying how much it was pushed in the Boom universe, I'd hate it if the same thing happened in Sonic 4.

Already seeing fans begging for the onesided romance to be reversed and wanting Sonic to be a simp... why??? The Sonic series isn't focused on romance, especially in the cinematic universe. And you want Sonic's character completely butchered just to push a ship, even if Sonic and Amy's dynamic is nothing like it is in the games??? You care about the movies being faithful to the games but suddenly when it's about sonamy it goes out the window

Idk sometimes it seems like fans care more about sonamy than Amy herself.

Please don't just be a sonamy bait movie 🤦‍♀️

Sorry I just don't like sonamy and how heavily pushed it is. Again I'm fine if the movie teases it a bit but if it's Sonic full on simping over how amazing Amy is I'm gonna roll my eyes
