Mo is an eldritch moth deity with six wings, three faces, a rainbow halo, and a glow around it that changes colors according to its mood. It is a god of MOGAI and has a strong protective instinct towards anybody who identifies as MOGAI. This includes acting as a protector to headmates and friends. Mo tends to be calm, and mogai can calm the system by joining front. Mogai is also a good communicator and frequently resolves conflicts both inside and outside of the system. It is very knowledgeable about MOGAI terms, holding them as an interest and offering them to friends who are looking for such labels.

In the past, people in the Animal Crossing community would make fun of Tom Nook as a sleazy landlord. Since then, he's really rehabilitated his image as this 'heart of gold' businessman (he's the one who puts bells and furniture in trees for you to find! he adopted orphans! he donates to charity!), but New Horizons genuinely paints the most devious version of him.

He's successfully privatized settler colonialism: you pay HIM to move to a "deserted island" (which apparently the oceans in the AC world are just full of) and start a colony that he is directly invested in. At best he's running a weird vacation package scam (you arrive on the island with no money and in debt for "using his services"). At worst, he's using you to set up company towns. For god's sake, he literally has his own fake currency that he forces you to use to pay off your debt. But don't worry, he's repackaged it in a way that definitely doesn't sound like an MLM scam: the Nook Mileage Program!

You're no longer just his tenant or his temporary part-timer, you're his business lackey. The entire tutorial section of the game has you spending actual weeks running around completing tasks and doing hard labor to set up his colony. You're even tasked with preparing his properties and finding buyers for them. No, you aren't a tenant anymore. You work for the landlord. You are directly responsible for finding tenants for him. And he doesn't even fucking pay you. Not for setting up town hall and museum, or his nephew's shop –– which is the ONLY store on the entire island that sells necessities –– or bringing KK Slider to town, or helping populate his town. Not a single cent. No, actually, you have to pay HIM to BUY infrastructure like bridges and stairs and park benches. And all the while, he's telling you're the "resident representative"; you get to call the shots! That the reward is the community's progress. That what you're doing is in everyone's best interest (but most importantly, his).

Since NH's release, people have done a lot of legwork to say that Tom Nook isn't a capitalist while the game shows him at his very worst. He owns the only general store in town. You're forced to use a phone that he modified and branded as his own. Buy Nook-branded furniture and merchandise at the self-serve kiosk in the town hall, a governmental building! There's no conflict of interest here!

But hey, if you're tired of being the landlord/business mogul's goon, you can also find work as a deluxe resort home designer for a company that also pays you in their special company currency that can only be used to buy their products instead of a real salary! Because that's what the Animal Crossing franchise needs! More vacation homes!!!

Emilia is somebody who can understand all sides of a debate even if she doesn't agree and in fact has her own very strong views on what is right. This means she is able to help mediate in in-system conflicts that involve disagreements on sensitive issues, such as common discourse topics. Even if the ideology the headmate holds is extreme, Emilia is still able to find common ground between them and headmates holding opposing ideologies to bring peace between them, even if only temporary. She is also able to help the system manage their OCD, helping redirect their compulsions and talk headmates out of intrusive thought patterns. Emilia is very rigid about routine and can be thrown off-kilter when the system's routines are disrupted. She loves cats, sparring, and exercise, and she likes taking care of the system's pets (if they have any) and making sure they exercise often enough. She has a strong sense of justice and morality and believes in doing what she thinks is right. honestly what people don't realize is that a lot of queer liberation will come from liberating cishet people from feeling like they can only identify in highly specific ways or else they're not cishet. if we encourage cishet men to wear makeup, dresses, skirts, "feminine" blouses, and other gendered that would make people question their gender or sexuality, and encourage cishet women to wear "masculine clothing, forgo shaving and makeup, and having "manly" hobbies, we open the doors for all kinds of trans people to present and express themselves freely without worry.

we break down hatred and misunderstanding when we allow folks of all identities to be and express themselves in ways that make sense without forcing arbitrary rules and identities on them. we would move toward a society where both effeminate trans and cis men who wear makeup and dresses would not run into having their gender questioned by total strangers, we would move toward a society where both masculine trans and cis women would not have to deal with being misgendered and having their womanhood questioned.

cis folks having their gender be questioned as trans, and trans folks having their gender be questioned as cis because of how they dress are being affected by the same principal: men only dress one way, and women only dress one way. this creates stress for not only trans people. cis folk feel trapped and isolated by this logic every single day, and they shouldn't have to feel obligated to completely changed their gender identity in order to just dress and express themselves.

whether or not we like to address it, there are in fact cisgender people who feel trapped and held down by how strict gender presentation rules are. we shouldn't assert that they deserve to feel that way, but rather that no one should have to feel this way. no one should have to feel like they cannot be who they feel they are on the inside, no one should have to feel like they can't wear clothing that makes them feel like who they are and looks good to them. no one should have to feel like they can't express themselves.

everyone deserves the freedom to dress how they want to, no matter what gender they are and what unnecessarily gendered pieces of clothing they wish to wear. we need to liberate everyone from this mentality, it only helps more people be free of this unnecessary restriction we've placed on ourselves.
