The ceremony took place in Crow’s library alongside his autographed copy of Adolf Hitler’s book Mein Kampf. Just outside is his dictator garden with larger than life statues of Crow’s favorite dictators throughout history. Crow’s brother Trammel, who is under indictment for child sex trafficking, was just outside the photo. It must be nice to be able to summon Justices, federal judges, and US Senator’s at will. This is a glaring example of how oligarchs literally control a political party and the judiciary.

WATCH: Protesters in Raleigh dropped off letters at the state legislature Monday denouncing a post-election Republican power grab that seizes powers held by offices that Democrats won in November. Senate Bill 382 was supposed to be a hurricane relief bill for western North Carolina, which was hit hard by Hurricane Helene in September. But it mostly contains attacks on the powers held by offices like the governor, attorney general, and superintendent of public instruction — which were all won by Democrats in November’s election. It also takes oversight of elections away from the governor’s office. Demonstrators during the “Moral Monday” protest in Raleigh likened it to a “coup,” saying that it undermines the will of the voters. Gov.-elect Josh Stein has condemned the bill. So has outgoing Gov. Roy Cooper and former Gov. Pat McCrory — a Republican. Cooper vetoed the bill, but Republican lawmakers in the House are expected to consider overriding the governor’s veto Wednesday in Raleigh. The far right have started serious riots in Dublin in response to a stabbing by an immigrant.

I don’t even need to go into how him being an immigrant is fucking irrelevant, and making this about your fascist opinions is taking away the attention from the actual victims. You guys are smarter than to fall for that.

Gangs of white Irish men are destroying the city; setting cars, buses, and shops on fire. They’re posting videos of them laughing as they smash out the windows of buses and shops and loot the place.

This is the right wing’s politics. “Immigrants are destroying Dublin”… says the people actively smashing the place to bits.

Please stay inside if you live in the centre. Especially for immigrants/ people of colour/ trans people / queer people/ any group that white supremacists target.
