Am I the only one who finds Cult of the Lamb a disguating game? Especially as a RAMCOA/cult victim.

From what I know it makes it out to be fun and quirky to be a cult leader. Which is awful. I know you're able to sacrifice and harm your followers, and can have them have kids for "desired traits." Like wtaf? As a cult survivor I find this game horrible, and it makes me sick. Esp with how popular it is. Can anyone else relate to this?

It deals with a touchy subject, and paints it in a fun light. But cults arent fun. They harm tons of people. And I see people out there thinking it's funny to talk about wanting to be a cult leader. It pm shows ppl that cults arent as bad as they actually are. I really hope im not the only one.

I actually cannot believe I’m making this post but here we go.

This is the person’s description. Please note, I am not fake claiming them on being a RAMCOA/HC-DID system or their alter count. I am also not fake claiming them based on the fact they claim to have a DSMP script, even though the timing feels a little weird to me.

‘But you are fake claiming them-‘ Yes I am. And for two main reasons. Number one, claiming to have diagnosed ASPD.

ASPD cannot and is not diagnosed as a minor. You must be at least 18 to be diagnosed with ASPD, and if you are any younger it would be considered a conduct disorder. Any professional would know this.

Furthermore, this person claims to live in Mexico (which I will get to in a moment). Mexico uses the ICD for diagnostic criteria, and in the ICD-11, ASPD isn’t even a diagnosis.

But let’s assume this person got diagnosed in the US or is not living in Mexico and got diagnosed with ASPD at 15 years old. The main reason I am calling bullshit is this:

This person claims to be in witness protection. First off, you cannot have any social media if you are in witness protection. Like none at all, which includes tumblr. It doesn’t matter if you don’t use your real name/age/identity, it’s still a huge safety risk even having it, let alone telling people you’re in witness protection and what country you were relocated to.

This person also claims that one of their programmers contacted them. While they were in witness protection. I’m not even going to comment on that, but I will let you guys just connect the dots on this.

A lot of people in the "RAMCOA" online community are probably lying.

Theres believing victims, and then there's believing utter nonsense. At some point, you have to realise something is up with most of these claims.

Ritual abuse and organised abuse do happen, but does it really happen in the way some of you are claiming it does?

If all your claims are correct, then there are international groups, weaponising dissociation using specified methods. And they have never been caught nor do they have any publicity despite doing this to seemingly thousands of children.

If these groups exist, what are they called? Who is behind them? Why do they all use the same method, is there some kind of manual for doing this? Why has literally nobody gone to authorities? How do they get access to children to do this? Why is this only being talked about on social media such as tumblr and discord? Why have they not been caught? How did any of you get out? Do any of you have proof or evidence?

Yes, authorities can be unhelpful. But SURELY aren't so dumb that they wouldn't make the link if hundreds or thousands of cases popped up internationally claiming the exact same thing. And surely, if they DID make the link, it would be a HUGE scandal.

Yes, i know, there are "scripts" that make it so you cant talk about what happened.. but weirdly enough a lot of you seem just fine talking it about it on tumblr. And, many of you seem to be in therapy and are minors, in (my country at least, probably others too) therapists have a duty to report when children could be at harm, so surely a lot of your cases would've gone out to social workers or the police.

Your stories, simply, do not add up.

It doesn't help that the term RAMCOA has a history with conspiracy theorists and therapists attempting to convince patients of fake SRA in their pasts.

I’m tired of seeing people post about how “it doesn’t exist” and say that “ramcoa doesn’t exist but the trauma does.” It’s irritating to be told what I went through doesn’t exist and does exist at the same time.

It’s important to hear survivors and to be able to understand that this shit happens and still does. Cults, trafficking rings, etc. they all happen. Just because you think that someone can’t force a system doesn’t mean it’s not possible. Do you know how much trauma that someone faces within shit like that? How easy it is for someone to see that there’s so much dissociation and use it against them?

I’m tired of so many people thinking that ramcoa survivors aren’t real. We are, we exist.

Felt I should share this as I haven't really seen it talked about in system or RAMCOA spaces. When you use Octocon your parts will be attached numbers to each part based off who was created first. While it's likely due to how to code the easiest. it is important to remember that if you are a survivor who has parts who were forced to be called a number, are a survivor who was called a number collectively/bodily, forced to refer to others as numbers or has any trauma related to number names please tread carefully.

I know as a survivor it can be extremely scary not being able to control your name or having anxieties related to not being called your number too. Please know you are not forced to use Octocon just because other people are using it. If plural kit or simply plural work best for you than keep using them. You do not need to switch over and risk your own mental health. Being a survivor who was dehumanized to numbers is horrible and whether you decide to reclaim your trauma or are healing by moving away from it know your triggers are valid.

Know you are never alone in healing your trauma and note this post is for education. This is not to bash in the creators of Octocon nor is it to tell you how to feel about the app/bot. At the end of the day how you find support with yourself is for only you and your system to decide. With thet being said do not interact with this post if you are pro/neu-endo / believe in any form of "plurality" outside of being trauma based. You are basically *outlining* how people can hurt/trigger you, and the severe abuse you went through. The internet is dangerous. It's one thing to bring awareness to something, and another to share personal details.

I've seen an influx of blogs talking about their specific scripts and saying what alters are programmed, and with what, when they're being introduced.

You should not be sharing that 5 year old Emma who uses she/her pronouns is beta programmed. That's not safe. That's a conversation for you and your therapist to have, not for strangers on the internet to know.

Stop talking about your programs. It's dangerous. I'm not saying stop talking about programming entirely, because that is an awareness thing. Sharing about personal programs is not necessary when it comes to awareness. What it is though, is dangerous.
