I imagine Dinesh is confused that Lara doesn't immediately swoon upon seeing his new get up.

As a side note in the background Abhilasha worked on her own RoS, trying to get abducted, but she decided to flash a ton so I didn't really get to show her.

Little Farhan still sneaks into his parents bed early in the morning.

As a side note the headmaster never showed so I rolled to determine if they got into private school and they both did!

RoS: It’s a phase - a child will only wear a costume for 1 to 3 days, teens get a piercing or drastically change appearance.

Given that this is a medieval save I was somewhat limited, but the garb of a gentleman bard seemed rather suited to a boy like Dinesh who reads a lot of romance novels covertly.

Theopanes had an interesting personal RoS given his traits. When sims have the Mage trait they cannot be cured of witchcraft - it's more a spontaneous appearance of natural ability in my mind.

RoS: Evil Witchcraft: You have been chosen. Find the head witch and ask to be turned. Not allowed to cure for two rotations.

Poor Farhan ended up with the flu and as a result was cooped up in his room quite a bit. As a result he really only had broth to eat as it was all the poor kid could keep down.

RoS: Going vegetarian: Your sims must not eat any meals with meat in them (dairy is fine) for two rotations. (he really did get sick in game, so it worked out!)

I still haven't tried my hand at default replacing the wrecked car so instead tinkerer Theopanes makes some gnomes while Taffy watches, curious as to just what he's doing.

After so many years together these two are firmly in love.

He also adopted Taffy... who immediately tried to eat Dinesh's homework. Taffy no!

RoS: Invite Headmaster

Theopanes, quietly ambitious as always, arranges to have his boys interviewed for acceptance into an exclusive school. Such an education would certainly put them ahead of their peers.

Dinesh and Farhan happily play with blocks in Farhan's room. They're close enough in age to be very similar and their mother is relieved to know her boys love one another. They won't grow up like she did.

Pink Soup has consumed the game, but here's Heidemarie being cute. A lot happened this round:

Leonie turned out to be pregnant AGAIN. Her personal Ros was: Sim must meditate for 6 consecutive hours per day and after each session Sim receives 100 x 10 ASP points. Regime must continue for 3 days.

William got a RoS to go on vacation, unfortunately he was also the lucky one picked for the household RoS: Death by Fire.

As a new mom, I have been completely rethinking how I play the Sims when it comes to parenting.

Part of the problem is mechanics - it is always harder to add constraints that are not required by the game. I tend to forget some of my rules if they aren't simple and easy to structure with mechanics or mods.

But I am planning to revise how I approach babies (no more leaving them in the crib all the time and saving parental leave for when they become toddlers), toddlers (some parents, especially family Sims, are going to quit their jobs to stay home with their kids cause if I wish I could, then some of them will get that wish) (but also I gotta explore the Chris Hatch daycare mod), kids (putting kids to bed, making sure they have a snack or dinner, etc), and teens (no more parentification, maybe resetting parent/child relationship to zero when they age up).

As I develop ideas, I will try to post them.

If you have rules and structures for how your Sims parent, I would love to hear them.
