As an Aromantic, something I really liked about Jayce and Viktor’s relationship is how non-romantic it felt. Like I don’t see them going on cute dates, but I definitely see them doing science together and bonding over that. I don’t see them making out, but the forehead-press they do didn’t feel out of the ordinary for me. The fundamental grounds for something to be queer platonic is that the person needs to enjoy being around the other person, and with Jayce and Viktor, that is very evident in almost all of their interactions.

OKAY SO

Me and my one friend (not my wife who divorced me, this is a different friend) started this long running bit where we aggressively flirt with each other. It was just a bit at first but we both enjoyed it.

ANYWAYS this started at the end of May but at a 4th of July party with my friends they were all telling me and this friend to just already get into a relationship cuz we were both single and lonely and desperate for a partner and we already had this flirting bit going so it made sense. We were both flustered and didn’t enter a relationship mainly cuz I wasn’t sure how I felt and they said they didn’t want to push me into anything cuz they knew I was aroace.

BUT now that I’ve been thinking about it I actually would really like to be in a qpr with them. We have a lot in common, we have similar interests, we bounce off of each other well, and we already aggressively flirt with each other so we’re already pretty comfortable around each other.

HOWEVER I don’t wanna ruin what we got goin on right now. I mean they HAVE said that they found me attractive but they also said they have a crush on someone else and I don’t wanna make things awkward.

hello I am very obsessed with mean girls the movie musical, I had such a fun time watching it and saw it three times in theaters. Now, I see a lot of people talking about how hot Renee Rapp is in the movie (which, iconic, you love to see it) and how the movie is for the gays (also iconic).

Me seeing the movie three times has no heterosexual explanation, however, I am aromantic and asexual and was struggling to verbalize the ways I am obsessed with the movie and with the girls. I see so much love for renee and auli'i (deserved), but I want to articulate how much I appreciate the other characters, even if it is in a different way, so I worked through my thoughts in the only way I know how: creating a highly subjective chart

As an aroace human, the way I use "hot" "pretty" and "cute" as descriptors is based on aesthetics and vibes, not necessarily in equal measure. This is based on the characters in Mean Girls (2024) and really is not meant to be taken too seriously lol
