If ur not watching Interview with the Vampire, fix that! I promise u won't regret it. But if u need some convincing...
You want queer men in love?
Poetic, absolutely gorgeous writing?
A sarcastic writer and a vampire so beautiful to look upon his face is a gift?
Memory is a bitch and unreliable narrators
Comedy~
Found family
Truly a fucked up masterpiece of a show
I can't recommend it enough.
Season 2 is airing rn on AMC+ and the first season is also on Prime

we often joke about the fact that eddie's closet is made of glass but i dont think its quite so. i think eddie's closet is a one-way mirror. walk with me here. for the majority of us is so painfully obvious that eddies queer (any kind of queer. to be specified), and maybe for some of the people that surround him too (hen, karen, bobby, i think tommy and some hd that chris knows too) which means they (we) all can see inside his closet and understand his actions with a certain hum of a to be revealed. we know the thing hes missing from his life, the one part of him that he hasnt figured out or come to terms with yet. we can see inside his closet. but all eddie sees is himself. bc its a mirror. hes looking at his quadruple reflection, and everywhere he turns theres more of himself. eddie is trapped in his closet. hes not observing the people outside watch him go about his life. hes watching himself grow desperate for the lack of space. for the lack of something else to see. he keeps looking at himself, but hes unable to find out what of himself hes supposed to see. hes trapped. eddie's trapped and he doesnt know he has the key. oh my god.
