But Rory walked right past them and - vanished? And then Lou Howell approached and vanished too. Right in front of their very eyes.

Tyalindo: 'What is going on here?' Jack: "I don't know. We had this happen behind the Tavern at Mount Komorebi too. This is so disturbing!"

They ran back to the safe Bunker. Jack: "Lunatic! Wait for us!"

Lunatic: 'Quick! Close the gate!'

Little Goat: 'What happened?' Lunatic: 'Werewolves attacked us! And then they vanished into nowhere!' Little Goat: 'But it is good they vanished, isn't it?' Lunatic: 'No! It is scary! When they can disappear into nowhere - they can appear out of nowhere!' Little Goat: 'OMG! Then it makes no sense to close the gate! They can appear anywhere!' Lunatic: 'OMG!'

drawn together by the overwhelming force of their shared anger, yet tempered by their differing ways of dealing with it.

Their personalities mirror each other, with subtle but significant differences in how they react to their emotions and the world around them.

Dick Grayson is a person who, despite carrying an intense inner rage, has spent years learning how to mask it, constantly suppressing his feelings because of the responsibility he feels toward those who rely on him.

But Dick keeps that storm contained, partly out of a sense of duty and partly because he cannot afford to lose control—not when there are people depending on him, especially after everything he’s experienced.

The fear of someone dying while he wasn’t there for them is something Dick struggles with every day.

This fear pushes him to try to “save” Dan, not just because of his own guilt but because he can’t bear the thought of letting another person slip away, consumed by their anger and pain.

Dan feels the weight of his anger and self-isolation.

Because see, most people see what Dick and Dan project—Dick as the golden boy who has everything under control, Dan as an unstoppable force of destruction.

But they both recognize the truth beneath the masks. Dick sees Dan’s pain, the raw vulnerability buried under all that rage, and Dan sees the exhaustion behind Dick’s carefully maintained control. There’s no need to pretend with each other, and that honesty is intoxicating.

There was no way to find out more about Professor Callahan and his research online. It was too long ago and the prediction (of an impact of a meteorite pair in the far future made by an unknown professor without any evidence) too insignificant.

So Rubyn went over to Foxbury. To the archives. Where all the pre-internet astronomical data are kept - on paper. The Librarian wasn't of much help...

So Rubyn spent her night in the archives. Searching through card indexes...

Consultating catalogues...

And finally a trace lead her to the personnel file of a Professor J.Callahan. Who had been a lecturer for astronomy at the Britechester University a hundred years ago. Long before Foxbury Institute had been built.

The reason why any information about him was so hard to find is, that he only taught for a few days. Published his article about the ...

... Tepesz-Woo meteorite pair (???)

What? A Professor -> J. Callahan (and only him) predicted the impact of Ji Ho and Vlad's meteorites and named them after them - a hundred years ago? (Ji Ho's last name is 'Woo' and Vlad's 'Tepesz'. And Jack's -> Callahan...)

Unfortunately Professor Callahan lost his professorship due to his, then unprooved, weird theories. The last entry in his file is, that the University of Britechester wishes him good luck for his further research in Selvadorada...

TMI: This episode is inspired of a real life experience where I was lucky to spend hours and hours in the Library of our University and in the endless Archives. It was stunning.
