I hate that proud family: louder and prouder episode where Zoey gets asked out on a date with a colorist black boy and the girls turned on her.
It takes a lot for me to side with the white character in a racial issue in tv shows or movie because they mostly in the wrong (even if the writers try to make them seem like they are in the right). But In this episode, I felt so bad for Zoey and hated what the girls did to her. She didn’t do anything wrong and had no idea that the guy only liked her because he’s a colorist clown. The girls made no attempt to tell her and just turned on her. They even said that no guy would go out with her or choose her over them unless he’s biased. Which is an awful thing to say to a girl who is supposed to be their best friend.
Off topic but the fact that they had Michael dressed up as Pocahontas of all princesses was messed up as well. Out of all the princesses, they chose her? Disney needs to stop promoting that movie and that character.

Proud family Maya character i need to talk about her this is why i don't like her at all. Her activism is toxic and even as person she is very judgemental. Instead of actually discussing the issue she is so judgemental so her activism is superficial and only serve to benefit herself. Hellaverse thank you for not having any activist character at all because who knew what viv could done to that character. Even in activism spaces they can be really toxic. Harassing people is not form of activism is form of bullying
Maya is one of the worst additions and she didn't have to be like that. She could be an activist but still be likable and a good friend.

Sorry for everything i said to you @impperfectcritiques.
Also, she defends Palworld, a retarded Digimon ripoff and that also has sex and bestiality in the game.
Hi! I hope you dont mind me asking but do you have a link or screencap of chai editting a survivors comic into proship? I unfollowed them today thanks to finding out they draw feral animal genitalia on their feral ocs which I think is a bit sus, and if the comic thing is true I definitely can’t support them. Thx!
Yea, so this is the edit, the original is easy to find, but to avoid bringing the og artist into more issues i wont tag them (i hope you understand)
He's also into cub art.

Chat come here I gotta tell you something important
And it's about Millie :0
So you know how Millie has that whole being important insecurity that's only brought up once in worst Helluva episode so it looks like Vivzie cares about women?

Well how about she's the middle child of her family and that's where the insecurity came from? The guy drinking the slushie (???) and Sallie May are the eldests while the guy on the floor and the baby are her younger siblings? I mean of course a baby is going to be the little sibling but yeah
And boom. That's why she wants to feel important because she's the middle child
#this might not be very groundbreaking but i'm very proud of myself for having a reason for that insecurity#also lowkey developing a crush for that guy lying on the floor#anyways if any of you guys have names for millie's family pls tell me i want to make them important#anti spindlehorse#anti vivziepop#vivziepop critical#vivziepop criticism#vivziepop critique#spindlehorse criticism#spindlehorse critique#helluva boss critical#helluva boss criticism#helluva boss critique#helluva boss rewrite

I feel like I've seen a lot of "Empress Padme" or "Sith Padme" stories where Padme's gets pushed to a breaking point and becomes evil or convinces herself into doing evil things in the name of justice, and while that's all entirely valid, I feel like I need more Empress SATINE stories.
Because Satine is, canonically, someone who is absolutely willing to go for torture and wrongful imprisonment when pushed far enough. She is someone who will performatively destroy things just to prove that she's "against corruption." Satine is someone who will see the consequences of her own choices happen and refuse to take an ounce of responsibility for it.
So I can absolutely see Satine becoming a violent tyrant while convincing herself and telling everyone else that she's just getting rid of corruption, she's just doing what has to be done. She will purify the world and anyone who tries to get in her way is just part of that corruption and will be eliminated.
Like maybe this is in an AU where she doesn't die during the attack by Maul and Death Watch, she manages to survive, but then she lives through the rise of the Empire and instead of being deposed by Gar Saxon, she fights back and fights back hard enough that Mandalore gets glassed early. And that pushes her to a breaking point because she REFUSES to let her people just... scatter, she WILL hold them together if it's the last thing she does, and she WILL get vengeance on the Empire for what it's done to Mandalore.
And poor sweet pacifist Duchess Satine just spirals further and further into her own darkness, convinced that she's just doing what she has to, swearing that it's necessary in the name of justice. But if her own people start questioning her, if they try to stop her, well they're probably spies for the Empire and she's promised to take out the Empire as vengeance for what was lost.
#star wars#satine kryze#satine critical#satine kryze critical#empress satine au#bo-katan is probably her general or her advisor or both#bo-katan is standing behind her telling her that their father would finally be proud of her for living up to the family name#and like at least obi-wan probably has no idea that the woman he had feelings for is turning into a monster just like anakin did#because obi-wan is off being a hermit on tatooine at this point#but man maybe after the events of the kenobi show he starts hearing news from beyond tatooine#and news of mandalore starts reaching him and he thinks it's just slander#but he has some sort of communication with bail at one point and asks about it and... it's true#and now he has to live with the knowledge that both anakin and satine became the things they swore to destroy#and now even if satine is technically still alive there's yet another person he has to mourn as if they were dead

🔥+ odin
🔥+ frigga
send me 🔥 for a hot take !
— Odin.
Odin loved Loki as his youngest son and that is why he did not tell Loki about his true identity and heritage for a thousand years. His main failing as a father is, ironically enough, that he could not keep on his king persona, got deeply attached, and so then he could not eventually do what was necessary of him. (Telling the truth before it is too late.) It is because he loves Loki that his biggest mistake was made.
To that end: Odin - specifically the real, 2011-2013!era Odin - may be an absolutely terrible father half the time, but he is not as terrible as people are under the bold assumption that he is. He wasn't beating his children or forcing them into wars or condoning any of their rivalries. He actively pursued peace and the protection of his family until his world got shattered by the Dark Elves via Frigga's death.
Now I will say he's definitely more awful to Thor than he ever was to Loki... (see: insulting Thor's beau constantly and usually in front of Thor's face, trying to force Thor to do things he doesn't want to do, that time he literally called Thor unworthy of his loved ones and then exiling him instead of, gee, I dunno, making him deal with the repercussions of his actions on the home front.) But you can love someone and still do terrible things around, to, or for them. Parents in particular fall into this trap often... Odin is no exception to this.
Not only can I back up why I firmly believe this if you decide to ask me about it, but you cannot change my mind no matter what you say.
But he is not as god awful as comic!Odin, who absolutely deserved his fate battling Surtur for all eternity.
— Frigga.
If the Loki fandom is really gonna play this game, then Frigga needs to be held just as responsible for lying to Loki's face about Loki's true identity and heritage. If not more responsible than Odin. She was the parent closest and therefore the most responsible for Loki. She has absolutely no excuse.
Saying that she was "following Odin's orders" on this matter does not acquit her.
She never had to listen to Odin, actively executes the ability to stand up to and otherwise defy Odin (JUST like her sons do), and is the single person in all of the realms that Odin loves enough to listens to, and speaks his mind around. She did nothing, and there is absolutely no evidence that she ever tried to tell Loki anything.
You know what there is evidence for? Odin having plans to tell Loki the truth one day.
#(you know which parent DOES have evidence that he had full on /plans/ to tell Loki about his true identity as the lost Jotun prince?)#(you know who actively said that the reason he didn't tell Loki was because he loved him too much?)#(who felt that his son was more valuable to him than peace between two warring nations?)#(who /frigga actively states implored her not to tell Loki/ strictly because he didn't want Loki to feel like he wasn't part of the family?#(who ACTIVELY LISTENS to frigga and does not give his son the death sentence despite loki having earned it a thousand times over?)#(who then angrily laments that loki hates him when they finally see each other again)#(after having grieved his death-by-suicide for a year?)#(yeah. you guessed it. it was odin.)#&&. whispers#&&. thor.#&&. | marvel. |#salt to taste#(odin is an a+ parent and he deserves every ounce of criticism for how he did and did not go about this)#(what he did and did not say)#(but the fact of the matter is he's a parent who loves his sons but is a horrible terrible awful father)#(and is so because he cannot take off his all-father/king hat for 10 gd seconds to just /exist/ with his sons who need him to be there.)#(we should be criticising and deconstructing /that/ and not whether-)#(-Laufey commited the infanticide that he actively admitted to on screen and in the screenplay was PERFECTLY PROUD OF THAT.)

Venus in the houses Ovservation 8-12
Venus in the 8th house: these people are so magnetic it’s insane. They have a dark beauty to them that’s truly captivating. They remind me of Tim Burton characters. But being so magnetic causes a lot of people to become obsessed with them. They attract a lot of stalkers and creepy people. They tend to get sexualized constantly( people make such gross comments to them it’s shocking). I’ve seen these people get catcalled and lustful stares and comments about their body even if they aren’t wearing anything revealing. Even I’ve seen family members make inappropriate comments to these natives, things like “if you weren’t my daughter I’d….” You get the picture 🤮 (8th house ruling taboo attraction ) one of my close friends had to deal with that in her family. They may have been shamed for wearing revealing clothing of too much makeup because it’s seen as “overly sexy” or “hoochie”. People could’ve thought they were sluts even if they never had sex too it’s sad. They can get a lot of hate from people for no reason as well they may be used to people (mostly women) giving them dirty looks or ignoring them/purposely being mean to them. Their presence has such an intense affect on the people around them. Their relationships are also intense as well they attract a lot of people with a dangerous/edgy type vibe to them (junkies, drug dealers, people with a record ect). They have a provocative vibe to them so they can attract some very questionable partners at time. I’ve seen too that they are into gory kinda art or disturbing art pieces/ photography. They are also very proud of their bodies & usually embrace their sexuality. I’ve seen a lot get into nude modeling or just take a lot of pictures of their bodies. They’re more comfortable being nude than most (also this can be a big sugar baby placement as well like Venus in the 2nd).
Venus in 9th house: have such a unique glow to them. They have smiles that can light up a room and their laugh reminds me of wind chimes. I haven’t met a lot of people with this placement but the ones I met I notice they are so intelligent and well spoken. So many people are drawn to them just to hear what they have to talk about. It makes them amazing teachers/gurus. They just always seem like they know what they’re talking about so many describe them as being wise beyond their years (they usually have pretty high IQs as well, Marylin Monroe had this placement) They tend to find spouses while traveling or they can travel a lot with their partner. Their partner might’ve come from a very diverse cultural background or ethnicity. On the negative side these people can be very overly indulgent and sometimes believe that they are always right and their words are law. They can have a big god complex if negatively aspected.
Venus in the 10th house: give superstar vibes. These people put a lot of effort into their career and public image. Most big celebrities/ big politicians I notice have this placement. This can be a big trendsetter placement as well, you’ll notice that many people will admire you and try to copy you a lot! Whether it be you mannerisms, fashion, art style ect. For example Billie Eilish has this placement and everyone went crazy over her baggy clothes style. You have more of an opportunity to make your mark in the world more than the rest of the Venus signs. If afflicted however you can become too obsessed with recognition and status to the point where you abandon important things and people in your life to attain your goals, this can cause someone who has sorta tunnel vision when negatively aspected. It’s important to not get so wrapped up in others image of you so you don’t burn yourself out trying to please everyone (they can be extremely sensitive to criticism & be harsh on themselves to perform perfectly). You can also have a habit of putting your work/career before relationships. You may not settle down till later in life.
Venus in the 11th house: I notice similar to Venus in Aqua that they are really big on friends before lovers typa thing. They don’t really jump into relationships fast without becoming their friend first.( which can be a little annoying to more fast paced types) at first you can make your partner feel friend zoned but the ones who are patient enough to let you open up usually win your heart. They usually put a big emphasis on friends in general and could have a lot of them. If you date someone with this placement it may feel like you’re dating their friends too😭 they’re a very big part of their life. People with this placement usually have many support systems which can help them through life and show them to new opportunities(especially business opportunities). On the flip side I’ve seen these people become too detached with their relationships and treat them like friends rather than lovers which can cause their partner to feel neglected. They tend to find lovey dovey expressions a little awkward (if immature) which can cause them to become aloof when things get a little too close, they may start playing hot and cold. Might need a longer time to mature romantically than most. I’ve seen a lot of influencer and people with popular social media blogs have this placement. They’re very tech savvy & usually own the latest technology.
Venus in 12th house: these people I feel mostly live in their fantasy worlds in terms of love and romance. They are hopeless romantics at heart and have this beautiful vision of how they want their love to look and feel like. However it’s usually difficult for them to find this perfect love in such an imperfect world so they usually end up romanticizing the most mentally ill mfs into like a Prince Charming image lmao. This is why they usually attract a lot of unstable/ emotionally unavailable partners. I’ve seen these people remain celibate for long periods of time as well until they find that perfect love. Most of the time though unfortunately love feels a lot better in their imagination. I’ve read somewhere before that they go through such an ordeal in love because in a past life they chose lovers over loving themselves so a big lesson in this lifetime is to love yourself before you let anyone in. I also read they could’ve lost their soulmate in another life which caused this extreme longing for love in this life. These people usually find self love through spiritual practices such as religion, meditation, crystal work, tarot ect.

(Couldn’t stop thinking about this… so here lol)
The day you arrived as the new Duchess, the household braced for the worst.
The rumors about you had long preceded your arrival. The maids whispered in worried tones, recalling the vicious words printed in the society columns: that you were proud and frigid, a woman with no warmth in her heart, incapable of love or kindness. The footmen steeled themselves for the cold treatment they assumed you would bestow upon them. One butler, an old and steady man who had served the Price family for decades, stood rigid along the halls, his hands clasped tightly behind his back, his expression carefully blank- though tension lined his shoulders.
And the men watched with quiet wariness as you stepped from the carriage with Kyle’s help, your gown flowing like water, your posture straight and your face unreadable. John had married you out of necessity, pressured by his position and the expectations placed upon a man of his standing. He had expected many things of you- pride, coldness, disdain.
The first sign that the rumors were false came in the way you carried yourself.
You did not sweep into the estate like a queen expecting devotion; you entered cautiously, your movements precise, your gaze flickering from one unfamiliar face to another with something that almost resembled apprehension. You were quiet, barely speaking unless spoken to, and when you did respond, your voice was soft and measured, never sharp.
The second sign came with the staff.
They had expected cruelty. Some had even resigned themselves to enduring the rule of a cold and haughty duchess, one who would scrutinize their work, find fault in the smallest details, and wield her authority like a blade- especially maids who came from other estates, serving under other nobles. But instead, they found that you hardly seemed to know what to do with them at all.
You never raised your voice. You never scolded or criticized them unfairly. In fact, you barely issued orders at all, preferring instead to quietly accept what was given to you- your meals, your gowns, your schedules- without complaint or demand. The maids had watched in stunned silence when, upon being asked if you wished for a particular set of linens in your chambers, you hesitated for a long moment before murmuring, “Whichever you think best. I am not particular about it.”
The maids quickly learned that you disliked being fussed over. You did not preen before the mirror or demand endless, impossible adjustments to your hair and attire. If anything, you seemed almost uncomfortable with prolonged attention, your hands clasped together in your lap, your eyes averted as if uncertain where to look. When they had first presented you with an elaborate, albeit a bit… gaudy, gown adorned with gemstones and intricate embroidery, you had stared at it in silence before hesitantly asking, “Is there… something simpler?”
And then there were the men.
John had assumed that, at best, you would be a distant and indifferent wife, content to live separate lives while maintaining appearances. Kyle and Johnny had expected someone who would look down upon them, someone who might sneer at the idea of her husband keeping company with his own butler and chef and another duke, should the day come you’d find out about their relationship. Simon had expected to dislike you entirely.
None of them had expected you.
You, who startled so easily when Johnny laughed too loud or Kyle joined your side to help you with your duties.
You, who shied away from lingering gazes, who seemed to struggle with conversation not out of rudeness, but out of a deeply ingrained discomfort with being the center of attention.
You, who kept your hands folded neatly in your lap at the dinner table, answering their attempts at conversation in soft, careful words before retreating into silence, averting your gaze when you’d notice how touchy they were with one another.
They were used to seeing behind masks, and yours was not a mask at all; it was simply the way you were.
And the worst offense you ever committed, in the eyes of society, was that you did not smile.
The rumors had always described your expression as cold, John remembers, but the truth was far simpler: you did not smile often because you did not know how.
You had spent so long avoiding unnecessary interactions, so long trapped beneath the weight of others’ expectations, that smiling had never become natural to you. And when you did attempt it- when you forced your lips into an unfamiliar curve- it often came out wrong, too stiff, too hesitant, almost a grimace rather than an expression of joy.
You had learned, early on, that this only made things worse. That people took your forced smiles as sneers, your awkward expressions as condescension.
So you stopped trying.
But your lack of smiles did not mean you were unkind.
The staff saw it in the way you murmured thank you whenever something was brought to you, even though you never expected to be served.
The men saw it in the way you listened, truly listened, when they spoke- not out of obligation, but out of genuine interest, even if you did not always know how to respond.
The head maid saw it when you found her in the hallway one afternoon, an unopened book in your hands, hesitating before asking: “Would this be of any interest to you? You- you said your granddaughter is learning her words, and this book might be of help…?”
Kyle saw it when you stepped aside one morning to let a maid carrying a basket pass first, even though no one of your standing would ever be expected to do so.
John saw it when he caught you in the garden, sitting in the sun with a book in your lap, your fingers tracing the edges of the pages, your expression soft and unguarded. You were not cold. You were not cruel.
You were simply quiet.
And that, he realized, was why the world had hated you.
Because high society thrived on spectacle, on sharp words and bright smiles and effortless charm. Because they did not understand a woman who did not laugh at the right moments, who did not command attention, who did not play the game the way they expected.
Because they had never looked closely enough to see you for what you truly were. But he- them, and all of the staff did, and It did not take long for the estate to settle into the truth of you, to grow accustomed to the quiet rhythm of your presence.
You were not the cruel woman they had feared.
You were simply you.

Fathers and Their Children Part II
The Twisted Wonderland boys as fathers.
Third year Second year First year
Riddle Rosehearts
Riddle, being a proponent of order, tries to raise his children with discipline, but after the events of his youth, he realizes that excessive strictness can be harmful. He demands respect, but doesn't turn his home into a barracks. He has certain rules (like "Don't play with food at the table" and "Do your homework before sunset"), but he's no longer the boy who blindly followed his mother's rigid norms.
Although he doesn't always express his feelings in words, his children know he loves them. He's willing to sit by a sick child's bedside at night, gently tucking in their blanket as they fall asleep, and brew their favorite tea if they've had a tough day.
He's proud of his son, especially when he shows intelligence and diligence in his studies. However, he's very soft towards his daughter—she's the only one who can persuade him to break a rule or simply give in to her cute eyes. If she asks for a little more time before bed or an extra cookie, he initially shakes his head sternly, but a few minutes later, he gives in.
When his mother comes to visit, the atmosphere in the house immediately becomes tense. She thinks Riddle is too lenient with the children and tries to impose her "order." For example, she might criticize her son for his too "weak" control over the family, demanding that the children sit with perfectly straight backs and eat only "proper" food.
• The children try to escape her in any way possible. If she comes, they suddenly become "very busy" in their rooms or find urgent errands outside.
• The son sometimes openly protests, saying, "Dad, you're not going to make me sit and listen to her for hours, are you?!"
• The daughter initially tries to be polite but then just hides behind her mom.
Despite his strictness, he tries to instill in his children truly important principles: respect, responsibility, and a thirst for knowledge. He's proud that his son and daughter aren't afraid to voice their opinions, even if they contradict his views.
Sometimes, when no one is watching, he allows himself to be just a dad, not a strict head of the family. He might play chess with the children or even magic games, although he later pretends it was purely "for educational purposes."
If the children misbehave, he doesn't yell or make a scene. Instead, he gives them logical punishments: for example, skipping dinner (but with tea, because he's not cruel) or writing an essay on why it's important to respect rules. But if someone hurts each other or anyone else—then he's truly strict.
Riddle isn't perfect, but he tries to be the best father he can be. His children help him understand that sometimes it's okay to just be happy, even if the world around them isn't perfect.
Ruggie Bucchi
Ruggie, of course, loves his son, but raising a child is a real headache. He might grumble when the boy makes a mess or asks too many questions, but deep down, he's proud of how clever and cunning the kid is becoming.
His son is a real little rascal. He quickly figures out how to get what he wants with minimal effort: "Dad, if I help you clean up, will you give me a meat pie?" Ruggie initially laughs, but then realizes that's exactly how he taught him.
Although he's quite relaxed about parenting, he won't let his son be lazy or slack off. If the boy starts being too blatantly cunning, he'll put him in his place: "Listen, son, if you want to be smart, at least don't show it."
Ruggie believes it's important for his son to be able to take care of himself. He teaches him to cook, find easy ways to earn money, and even pull off small adventures: "If you want a tasty meal, help get it first!"
If he's spending time with his wife, his son is sure to periodically steal his mother's attention. For example, he might sit between them when they're relaxing or deliberately demand that Mom read him a story instead of Dad. Ruggie just sighs, "Well, you've got quite the character, little bandit..."
Sometimes, he's surprised to see how independent his son is becoming. It fills him with both pride and a slight melancholy, because once this little one held onto his tail, and now he's handling his own affairs.
When his son starts laughing, the sound is a mix of childish giggles and Ruggie's signature "hyena laugh." He's scared people more than once by suddenly bursting into loud laughter at an inappropriate moment. Ruggie just smirks, "Oh, why are you so scared? It's just a kid!"
Ruggie teaches him the main principle: "You can be smart, you can be strong, but it's best to be flexible." He passes on his experience, but also allows his son to make his own mistakes so he can learn from them.
Azul Ashengrotto
Azul thought his daughter would be a perfect, obedient child who would share his love for intellectual games and business. However, reality turned out to be more complicated: the little girl was too curious, energetic, and inherited his cunning mind, but was much more free-spirited than he expected.
Azul often tries to act like a strict but fair father, but his daughter has a special talent for disarming him with her spontaneity. If she tugs on his sleeve with a sincere "Daddy, play with me," he, of course, initially feigns displeasure, but eventually gives in, especially if Floyd is nearby and already hinting that "daddy's a wimp."
The daughter inherited his traits: on land, she looks like a regular human, but when she gets wet, she turns into an octopus. This was a surprise for Azul, but he quickly adapted. However, he's very worried about how she'll perceive her dual nature. He remembers suffering from insecurity himself, so he does everything to make his daughter not feel inferior and be proud of who she is.
The first time the little girl realized she wasn't like the other kids on land, she was scared. Azul gently explained to her that it was her strength, not her weakness. Inspired by his own experience, he showed her how to use her extra limbs in the water—for example, to play with multiple toys at once or scare Uncle Floyd.
Azul tends to be overprotective of his daughter, especially when it comes to water. He fears she might be rejected like he was as a child. He even considered limiting her contact with water, but eventually realized it wasn't the solution. Instead, he teaches her to be proud but discreet—"use your power, but don't show it off to everyone."
He started teaching his daughter business skills early. At five, she could already negotiate for extra sweets, and at seven, she could give him such a convincing look that he'd sign a "contract" for an extra hour of playtime before bed. Jade, watching this, once remarked, "Looks like another cunning one is growing up."
Floyd is the uncle who's always fun (and a bit dangerous). He was the first to teach the girl to joke and be a little mischievous. Jade, in turn, taught her patience and manipulation—Azul doesn't like it, but he understands that his daughter's skills can be useful.
Every time the little girl says this, Azul has a bad feeling. It usually means she's found some loophole in the rules, just like he did as a child.
Azul wants his daughter to grow up confident and not repeat his mistakes. He does everything to make her accept her nature and be strong. However, he fears that one day she'll face the same cruelty he did as a child. Therefore, he always reminds her:
"You're special not because you have octopus tentacles or human legs. You're special because you're you."
Jade Leech
From early childhood, Jade teaches his daughter not only etiquette and manners but also the art of subtle manipulation. He tells her how to choose her words, when to smile, and when to remain silent. At the same time, he never forces her to follow his methods—he simply explains how to manage a situation more conveniently, should the need arise.
He's not a strict father, but if someone dares to offend his daughter, he'll act as he always does—calmly, subtly, but inevitably. The offender might not even realize they're being hunted until their life gradually turns into chaos.
From a young age, Jade takes his daughter on hikes through forests and mountains, telling her about rare plants and creatures. He loves to watch her discover the world with delight. However, if someone tries to instill fear of nature in her, he'll only smirk and say, "It's not predatory beasts you should fear, but those who hide behind kind smiles."
Jade always admires his daughter's uniqueness, her ability to change form in water. He doesn't consider it a flaw; on the contrary, he's proud of it and teaches her to be the same. He might ask with a light mockery, "Have you decided where you prefer to live—on land or in water?" However, he never pressures her choice.
When she first transforms into a moray eel, Jade looks at her with a sparkle in his eyes, slowly claps his hands, and says with a gentle smile, "Ah, how lovely. You're simply charming. Want to learn how to hunt underwater?" Then he teaches her to swim, feel the currents, and use her predator instincts.
He explains to his daughter that humans and sea creatures live by different rules. In water, you can follow instincts, but on land, words and subtle maneuvers are important. "It's all about balance, my dear. Isn't it interesting to know when to smile and when to show your teeth?"
His brother, of course, is very fond of his niece and often takes her on chaotic adventures. Jade doesn't forbid it but comments with a light smile, "Just don't let Floyd drag you into some adventure that'll be hard to get out of."
When his daughter first tries to pull off some cunning game or manipulation, Jade, of course, notices. However, instead of scolding her, he nods approvingly and says, "Not bad. But try to make it a bit more subtle next time."
Floyd Leech
Floyd laughed when he found out he was having twins. "Haha, what a coincidence! Or maybe it's fate?~" he joked. But when the children were born, he wasn't laughing anymore—he was completely thrilled. Two little creatures, just like him and Jade once were... only now they were his own children.
Floyd eagerly awaited the children's first contact with water. He knew they had inherited not only his appearance but also his nature. And when it finally happened—their skin covered in patterns, and their legs replaced by flexible moray eel tails—he couldn't help but laugh with joy: "Waaah, there you go! Now you're real little moray eels!~" He proudly swims with them, teaches them to dive and move in water like predators, telling them it's their family's "natural state."
Like Floyd, the children have a capricious nature. One moment they're laughing and hugging, and the next, they're sulking and refusing to talk to anyone. And they both quickly lose interest in things...
Floyd just shrugs:
"Well, that's normal! They're mine!~"
However, even if Jade admits that the children are too headstrong, Floyd only replies:
"Come on, let them enjoy life!~"
As with everyone else, Floyd doesn't use ordinary names for them. For example, he might call them "Little Eel" and "Gill Bubble." If the children try to protest, he just laughs and says they should be grateful they weren't named something like "Tiny Octopus."
Despite his playful and capricious nature, Floyd is a caring father. If the children are unwell, he instantly switches and becomes attentive. If someone offends them—no matter who, child or adult—he'll deal with that person.
"Huh? He upset you? Well, I'll have a word with him...~" he says, his smile turning frighteningly dark.
Although he loves his children, he sometimes acts like he's not their father but an older brother. He might support their pranks, take them fishing, come up with new tricks. If his wife looks at him disapprovingly, he just puts on an innocent face and says, "Well, they need to have fun!~"
When the children are sad or scared, Floyd doesn't comfort them with words—he just grabs them and squeezes them in a tight hug (of course, he controls the strength of the hug). His warmth and closeness quickly restore their good mood.
"Hey, don't mope, my little eel!~"
Kalim Ali-Asim
Kalim is the parent who's always ready to play, come up with adventures, and throw noisy parties for his children. He happily organizes home picnics, jumps on pillows with the kids, pretending to be dangerous sandstorms, and even lets them ride on his back like a camel.
His children never lack anything. Kalim strives to surround them with care and attention, buying them the best toys, sweets, and gifts, just to see them happy. However, sometimes his generosity goes too far, and Jamil (who's still in his life) has to remind him that parenting isn't just spoiling.
Kalim is proud of his sons, even if they're completely different. One might be cheerful and easygoing, while the other is more serious and responsible, but he praises them both equally. He sincerely rejoices in their successes, and even if one of them fails, he supports them with phrases like, "Don't worry, you'll definitely manage! Just try again!"
Kalim simply adores his youngest daughter and always carries her in his arms. She can ask for anything—and he'll fulfill her wish immediately. Sometimes her older brothers even get jealous, but Kalim sincerely loves them all equally. The daughter quickly realizes that Dad is soft and learns to use it to her advantage.
He doesn't like to scold children and, if they do something wrong, he's more likely to explain the situation gently than to punish them strictly. Perhaps because of this, his children sometimes get out of control, but at such moments someone (like their mom or Jamil) has to intervene to restore discipline.
Before bedtime, he tells the children stories about distant lands and magical creatures, sometimes adding elements from his own adventures. He also sings them lullabies, but gets so carried away that the song turns into a real concert with dancing.
If someone offends his child, Kalim is the first to rush to their defense, even if he doesn't fully understand what's happening. He might innocently approach the offender and say, "Hey, let's just be friends, okay?"—but if that doesn't work, he'll do everything to ensure his child doesn't suffer again.
Despite his naivety and clumsiness, Kalim is the kind of father who teaches children to see the good in the world, not to be afraid to dream, and to always remain kind. He wants his children to grow up happy and free, not intimidated or limited by strict rules.
Jamil Viper
Jamil treats his daughter as the most precious treasure in his life. He is ready to turn into dust anyone who dares to offend her, but at the same time he tries not to suppress her freedom. However, if someone even thinks of upsetting her - this person will instantly disappear from his social circle.
He is not the kind of father who will yell or punish with words. He does not even need to do this - one cold look is enough for the child to understand that he has gone too far. However, he is never really angry with his daughter, even if she has done something wrong. He sighs, explains the mistakes and helps to correct them, but inside he is already planning how to prevent chaos next time.
Jamil teaches her everything he knows from an early age. He teaches her discipline, strategy, dancing and even cooking, but he never pressures - if she does not like something, he simply suggests trying something else. However, one thing is a must - self-defense. No one should threaten his daughter, so he makes sure that she can stand up for herself.
Jamil is a master at cooking, and of course his daughter gets the most delicious and exquisite dishes. Even if she accidentally spills spices or spills something on the table, he doesn’t get angry - he just quietly cleans up the mess and continues to teach her how to mix flavors correctly.
If his daughter comes to him with an offended face and says: “Abi, he offended me!”, Jamil will not start a showdown, but this person will disappear from her circle. Before she even has time to understand what happened, the problem is already solved.
Despite all his seriousness, Jamil cannot refuse his daughter. She is the only person in front of whom he loses his restraint. If she asks for five more minutes before bed? Good. If she wants him to read her fairy tales until she falls asleep? Of course. If she wants to sit on his shoulders while he works? Why not.
Jamil never says it out loud, but he is more proud of his daughter than anyone else in the world. Even if she just says something smart or takes a step forward in her studies, he smiles to himself, knowing that she will definitely achieve everything she wants. He will not answer right away. Maybe he will say something neutral to avoid unnecessary conversations. But when he is alone, he always knows the answer. His beloved daughter.
Silver Vanrouge
Despite his tendency to fall asleep at unexpected moments, Silver sincerely tries to be a good father. He listens to his daughter with amazing patience, even if he himself is already on the verge of sleep. Even if he falls asleep next to his daughter, the slightest strange sound or her restlessness instantly wakes him up, and he is immediately on guard.
Even when she was a baby, he often rocked her in his arms. Even as she grows older, he continues to do this, although not as often. He often takes on the task of lulling the baby to sleep, but, as a rule, falls asleep faster himself. Sometimes the daughter just lies next to her and watches her dad already sweetly dozing, and her mother laughs at it.
Silver rarely raises his voice and always prefers to explain everything softly, but if his daughter is in danger, his calmness will instantly be replaced by cold-blooded determination.
He wants his daughter to be safe, so from childhood he teaches her the basics of fencing and defense. Of course, in a soft form - with a toy sword or a wooden stick.
Lilia simply adores her granddaughter, and she reciprocates his feelings. They arrange fun games for her together, and then Silver only sighs tiredly, watching how his father has again taught the baby some “useful” prank.
If his daughter creates a little chaos in the house, he does not scold, but simply carefully analyzes the consequences and, if necessary, gently explains why it is not worth doing.
He is sure that his daughter has inherited her mother's beauty and character, but Lilia always corrects him with a smirk: "She is so much like you!" Despite all his gentleness, if someone offends his daughter, Silver becomes incredibly serious. That same warrior's look flashes in his eyes, and no one doubts that he will do anything to protect her.

husband!jason todd x fem!reader
content warning: mentions of sex, brief mention of injuries
word count: 1449
a/n: this was originally supposed to be for my hc of butch lesbian jason todd but yk what this can still apply anyway. this isn't proof read btw, i lowkey rushed this, my apologies if there are errors
husband!jason todd who struggles to find what kind of ring you'd like. of course, he did go around and ask for a couple of his girl pals for their opinion since they would be more critical
husband!jason todd who really had a hard time trying not to peek at the wedding dress you got. and when he did get to see you, he does his best to hold back from running down to meet you and kissing you right away. in his defense, you looked absolutely stunning
on the night before leaving to go to your honeymoon, jason insisted that you keep the veil you wore while he makes love to you. you're his wife now, and he is proud to be your husband.
husband!jason todd who had to be convinced a few months before your wedding ceremony to take a real vacation trip for your honeymoon. besides, it's not like his adoptive family wasn't some sort of crime-fighting vigilante family to take care of the business in gotham while you'd be gone for a week or two at most
husband!jason todd who loves to refer to you as his wife
"my wife told me about that place before"
"let me tell my wife first"
"i think my wife would like this style"
he also likes it when you refer to him as your husband of course!
husband!jason todd who wears his wedding ring with pride. he's not one to show off or brag, but he'll try to be subtly show the expensive band wrapped around his finger
husband!jason todd who likes when you make your presence physcially known around him. you'll hold his hand and keep it in his pocket to keep it extra warm since gotham's winter can be really cold. or you'll simply have your knee against his leg when you're sitting together. he feels a sense of safety and security when you make these small gestures
husband!jason todd loves reading out loud to you. he doesn't care if you're listening or not (although he does appreciate it when you do), he finds it relaxing. often times, he's sitting up and you have your head on his lap. most of the times, you fall asleep, but he'll continue to read to himself or help you get to bed
husband!jason todd who likes to be held in your arms. he feels like he can relax because your embrace puts his worries to rest. and in bed, he likes to bury his face against your chest or sometimes your stomach, taking in your scent and warmth
husband!jason todd who makes the excuse that he needs to shower with you in order to save water. in the end, his argument does not stand because you'd both end up fucking in the shower
husband!jason todd loves watching you get dressed, especially when you're taking your time if you're not in a rush. something about it feels intimate despite how mundane it is. in fact, he just likes to watch you get ready, whether it's washing your face or putting on makeup if you are into that. he probably knows your whole makeup routine as well
and speaking of mundane, jason relishes the moments that are calm and simple. his life has been on a tightrope. he grew up in crime alley, was a sidekick for a bit, died, came back to life, and still got caught up in the vigilante business. it's not that often where he gets to finally watch that tv show you've been talking his ears off about. or visit different bookstores in gotham with you
husband!jason todd who always calls you when patrol is slow. sometimes, he feels guilty if you're already asleep or if he keeps you up, but he can't help it. he just wants to listen to your voice and make sure you're okay
husband!jason todd whose routine after patrolling was to get straight back home and have you clean up his injuries. even before getting married, you insisted to take care of his wounds despite his protests
husband!jason todd melts in your hands whenever you idly trace one of his scars
husband!jason todd always asks you to taste the food he is cooking. he values your input because he is making these meals for you and wants it to be very delicious
before marriage when you didn't move in together yet, he kept a relatively healthy, protein packed, nutritious diet. but when you did move in, he gladly cooks the foods you like and would also alter the recipe so that it's still nutritious. he wouldn't force you to eat tuna from a can despite the amount of protein it packs
husband!jason todd who insists that you don't need to call a plumber or a mechanic. he'll get the job done and you also save money! he also just likes to give you the impression that he can be a reliable husband for you
husband!jason todd who gets you sick with baby fever when you're both helping a little kid find his parents since she got lost in the crowd. jason made sure the kid felt safe, cheering up in order to get her to stop crying, and helping her return to her parents
or the other times where you were babysitting your nieces and nephews. jason always said he wasn't that good with kids, but here he was, letting them climb all over him like a statue
husband!jason todd who is happy that you refuse to let him go to bed angry, or if he willingly chooses to sleep on the couch after an argument. sometimes, he has trouble verbally communicating how he really feels, especially in the heat of the moment, and would snap and storm off. you know he doesn't mean it when he lashes out at you, but you both give time to yourselves to calm down before having a proper conversation
husband!jason todd who finds himself falling in love with you all over again when you're not letting anyone talk you down. in gotham, it's almost inevitable that you'll run into a snobby person, perhaps a stingy server or some random karen that decides to bother you. he admires the way you are not afraid to talk back. of course, he'll still step in anyway
husband!jason todd who loves going out on morning runs or to the gym with you if he wasn't on patrol the night before. it's a great way to start the morning
and if you are at the gym lifting weights, he acts normal but secretly likes it whenever you ask him to spot you or to ask how to perform a new exercise for perfect form
other times, you'll only ask him so that you can watch the concentric and eccentric contraction of his muscles. he doesn't realize you only ask him to help you out until much later in the day and it makes him feel giddy
also! when you're both at the gym together, he likes to make fun of you whenever you get a little jealous of other people staring at him. who can blame them? he has a great physique. but he still reassures you that everything is okay
husband!jason todd who tries to be civil and social whenever your friends are over at your place. it's not that he doesn't like him, and he trusts that you surround yourself with good people, but he is just kind of awkward around them in general
husband!jason todd who teaches you how to fire a gun, along with useful combat skills. again, gotham is pretty unpredictable, and he would rather make sure you have a better chance at being safe than risk having you go missing or hurt
husband!jason todd who has your initials carved into his gun
husband!jason todd who gets annoyed whenever dick or another batfam member is on patrol with him and teases him about his relationship with you, only for him to get deep in thought and say something utterly sweet and sincere
husband!jason todd who always kisses you before he leaves to go out on patrol
husband!jason todd who sometimes comes back from patrol with pastries or drinks from a coffee shop that opened early in the morning
husband!jason todd who stays in bed with you whenever you're really sick or have painful period cramps. he'll get anything you need. some raspberry leaf tea to ease the cramps? jason will cook you whatever you're craving or he'll have it delivered to their door. he'll make sure you don't forget to take your medicine and keeps you busy so that you don't feel bored staying in bed all day
husband!jason todd who loves you very much !
