Another notebook/pad for random notes or a running to-do list
A pen cup holder
A ziplock of hair-ties
Disposable toothbrush, Listerine strips, and travel-sized container of floss picks
A discreet feminine hygiene pouch or two with at least 2 products in it (you can use the additional pouch for extra underwear to be safe, honestly)
A simple, easy to zip and clean makeup bag
Lip balm
Hand cream
Vaseline/Aquaphor/Homeoplasmine
Mini stick antiperspirant or deodorant wipes
Travel-sized tweezers
Lint roller
Hand sanitizers
Disposable Shout wipes/stain remover stick

Compact powder
Portable stick cream blush/brusher

A snack pack or two of a protein-rich, plant-based snack (roasted edamame, roasted chickpeas, lupini beans, almonds, or Feel Protein bars are great options because they're portable and keep you full in a pinch without forcing you to reach for something unhealthy/not filling when you need to eat – you can also carry some freeze-dried fruit to pair alongside it if desired)
Pouch for keys, wallet, IDs, etc.
Blue-light glasses (for long days in front of a screen)

Time to clean! 🧹
Altough LEGO sets can make stunning display pieces, they are also dust magnets. 🧲
I'm truly surprised at the power of this little vacuum cleaner by Clean My Bricks. It effortlessly removes dirt from LEGO sets very easily, and can be also used to clean action figures, keyboards, computers, TVs, books, shelves and other surfaces. 💻📚
It comes with several different accessories and a charging cable. The battery may last up to twenty minutes, which is significantly longer than competing products, but it takes a couple of hours to charge. 🔋

Real Skincare Guide
Level 1: breakouts, non-painful, a little scarring
Minimize your skincare routine, all you need is an oil cleanser (if you wear a lot of makeup) than a good foam cleanser, moisturizer, and sunscreen. Repeat the same routine before bed just without the sunscreen.
Wear sunscreen everyday!!!
Always apply more moisturizer than you think you need.
Drink a lot of water (2-3LT)
Get consistent sleep
Take a multi vitamins to balance your hormones. I recommend the One-A-Day Woman’s Vitamins (get a real pill cause the gummies don’t have enough iron)
Work on your stress (breathe work, meditate, journal, yoga, walks, going out with friends, therapy, etc)
Look at what body oils/shampoo/conditioner you are using. Could be your akin reacting poorly to something in there.
Level 2: consistant breakouts, acne, scarring
All the stuff for Level 1 apply.
Minimize your skincare routine and than slowly add back in stuff like hydrochloric acid and retinol. Having an elaborate skincare will just make your skin worse. First, focus on healing your skin barrier.
If you are a teenager, it just might be your hormones/growing pains. It will go away eventually.
Pimple Patches work and are especially good if you are trying to stop touching your face.
Wash your pillow cases every 1-2 weeks.
Try to sleep on your back.
If you pop a pimple than apply an antibiotic ointment.
No point in using anti-aging products if you are under the age of 25. It just won’t do anything for you.
Note that if you take in a lot of nicotine you will breakout. If you smoke and you have bad skin, it probably won’t improve unless you quit or lessen the dosage.
Level 3: painful consistent breakouts/acne/scars, redness, irritability, hurts,
Go see a dermatologist!
Acne is can be a real problem. If your acne is painful seek professional help.
If Accutane is recommended, than I would do it. Based only on the experiences of my friends, I have seen great results after a couple months. There are side effects and it is not for everyone but if a professional says you should than I might consider it.
No topical treatment is going to make those scars go away. You are going to need to laser resurfacing which is like this secret treatment rich people do to clear up their skin. It is expensive but really works. Beauty brands want you to think that the right cream can clear up your skin but if you have bad scarring you are only going to see real results with laser treatments
All of the above recommendations still apply
Your acne does not take away from your beauty or your worth as a human being. Remember that acne is normal and social media is fake.
Product Recommandations:
Disclaimer: Not every product will work for every skin type. Do your research for what will be beat for you!

I love your skirts! I love how spinny they are, and they're always so cute 😍 I wanted to ask, have you thought about making maxi-skirts? I've been trying to find a spinny, full length skirt for a long time (gotta love feeling like a princess, lol) but I can't find any that are plus sized. I know that would take a lot more fabric and time, so I totally get it if not.
Have a great day!
i do maxi skirt collabs with @freshhotflavors a couple times a year, and they just restocked a couple of my designs! you can find them in the FHF store

Use Code: SPOOKYSALEM13 (for a discount 🖤👻)
Curst Kosmetics is a vegan & cruelty free gothic alternative makeup brand ✨️. They create some of the spookiest, coolest 😎 most magical makeup on the market!
I've been more into the gloss look lately, but gloss isn't my favorite, I prefer lip oils!
This is the Macabre Lip Oil a PH affect color changing Lip Oil! I like to leave the Lip Oil on, but there's always the option for blotting off excess oil & going for the light Lip stained look 😍 that it leaves.
Either way your lips 💋 will be luciously soft, very vampy either glossy or not.
* cruelty free
* vegan

hello, gorgeous. im starting college soon and im on my way to become a femme fatale, so i have two questions for you
1. how can i incorporate the femme fatale way of being into academia?
2. what things/brands are affordable for a college student? i’d love to wear high-quality clothes like the ones you recommend, but i can’t afford them. are there any other products/services that i could add to my routine for a cheap price?
thank you so much in advance xx
Hi love! Congratulations on starting this new chapter of your life <3
Here are my thoughts:
1. how can i incorporate the femme fatale way of being into academia?
Understand the importance and power of:
Knowing how to learn, study, and get in the practice of regularly acquiring new information
Understanding how to work through concepts, set goals, and clearly communicate your thoughts to better articulate a concept or build a case/argument
Becoming a better writer, reader, and remaining focused/prioritized when it comes to your tasks and to-do list
Learning how to absorb information and apply this knowledge to different situations/areas of life through these acquired skill sets/methodology
Developing important self-presentation skills through presentations, written/verbal communication/networking
Refining your aptitude for pattern recognition, gaining more insight into human nature/what makes people tick, and learning how to persuade/seduce others through your words/insights
2. what things/brands are affordable for a college student? i’d love to wear high-quality clothes like the ones you recommend, but i can’t afford them. are there any other products/services that i could add to my routine for a cheap price?
Totally get it! Budgets are particularly tight for many college students.
For a service option, I would say I recommend Rent The Runway (I believe it's around $100/month for 10ish items rotated throughout the month).
For more affordable alternatives, I would say your best bet is to dig deep into the sale sections of department stores/The Outnet and similar e-commerce sites by utilizing all the filters you need (budget, size, colors, item type, etc.).
If you're searching for more affordable brands generally, I would say some of the highest quality affordable brands available are:
Express: The "Body Contour" line has amazing basics and I love their Editor High-Waisted Flare Trousers (these might be too professional for what you need right now), but I've heard they have very solid denim and shirting options, too!
Oak & Fort (I prefer them to Everlane/Abercrombie TBH)
Quince (for washable silks, cashmere and basics for $40-$70)
4th & Reckless (a lot of their items are on sale for $25-$50!)
Because of Alice (Outlet) – mostly under $70
Pixie Market (sale items are often around $50-70)
Banana Republic (especially the sale section)
Everlane/Abercrombie have their gems – some of the trouser/outerwear quality is iffy, though
Lioness/DISSH
Frankie Shop (in-house brand – on sale it's similar to Mango prices)
Maniere de Voir (mostly under/around $100, TOP quality for the price)
Shoprumored
Mango/COS (better than other fast fashion choices, IMO)
Hope this helps xx

I need a good two way radio with hand crank and solar charging for 2 way communication during time travel incidents (no radio/cell towers, no power, etc). I would prefer a walkie talkie set on FRS bands, but I can't find any that don't rely on lithium ion which won't work for obvious time travel reasons. Am I going to have to buy GRS band and get my amateur radio license?

i have quite a lot of hair breakage from going to bed with wet hair which i am trying to stop doing (i don’t use heat), do you have any (preferably affordable) product recommendations that could help with this in the time being?
Yup! So with hair breakage, the big goals are to have a gentle wash routine and to deep condition the hair. In general, you want to avoid shampoos that contain sulfates and opt for products that are designed for damaged hair instead. You also want to make sure that you're shampooing just the scalp, not the mids and ends of the hair. Introducing a deep conditioning treatment and a leave-in conditioner into your routine will also help to deal with the breakage.
The best products for damaged hair tend to be from the Olaplex line, but those can get pricey. So instead, I would try the Monday Haircare Moisture Shampoo or Tresemme Keratin Repair Shampoo, Dove Hair Therapy Conditioner for Damaged Hair Breakage Remedy, Pantene Hair Mask Miracle Rescue Shots, or the tgin Miracle RepaiRx Anti-Breakage Serum, and the Sun Bum Revitalizing 3 In 1 Leave In Treatment.
Other things you might want to consider are:
Getting regular trims: trims can help get rid of split ends, preventing them from traveling up the hair shaft and causing more breakage.
Avoiding tight hairstyles: Styles like tight ponytails, braids, and buns can cause stress on the hair and lead to breakage. Go for looser hairstyles instead.
Being gentler while brushing: Use a wide-toothed comb or a brush with flexible bristles to avoid unnecessary tension on the hair. Start from the tips and work your way up to the roots. If you can, wait until your hair is dry to brush it.
Protecting your hair from the sun: UV rays can damage the hair cuticles, leading to breakage. Wear a hat or use hair products with UV protection (like the Sun Bum 3 in 1 treatment) when spending time in the sun.
Using a silk or satin pillowcase, or putting your hair up in a silk wrap before going to sleep: friction is one of the main reasons for manual damage that leads to split ends and breakage, and a silk or satin pillowcase can help to reduce that friction. This one is $10 on Amazon and has good reviews.
Finally, breakage can be a symptom of a larger problem, such as nutritional deficiencies or an underlying medical condition. If you're working to repair your hair but still noticing a lot of breakage, you may need to supplement biotin, vitamin D, or omega-3 fatty acids or speak with your doctor, especially if you're noticing other symptoms.

Hey just a friendly reminder. This is why we patch test products 🫢
About to try a new brand of body wash and one of them peeled the top layer of my skin off in less than a minute. Good thing I didn’t take a whole bath with it 😬
