Jill and Roy were almost to the end. Victory feels right at their fingertips! Just a little bit left: put the second cylindrical topaz in place, and the exit would be unlocked. Roy pushed off with his legs and slowly floated towards Jill, she was holding on with all her might. The air was thick, like jelly. A couple more meters and Roy would hand the cylinder to his partner. Suddenly the door behind him opened its mouth and began to suck in space, and with it Roy... he began to gradually move away from Jill, and the thin thread of hope broke completely.

Sometimes the story is formed by mixing several motives and ideas at once, and the result is a rather abstract work with an open interpretation. I like such things. Here I have a space theme, and a solution to some probably logical or technical problem, on which survival obviously depends, and a drop of strange horror in the form of a flying door with teeth. Also I wanted to show the connection between two characters, which, apparently, was hopelessly broken, which will most likely lead them to an unenviable ending.

The Armorer

I used two flashes for this. One lighting the front of  the mini figure, and one behind, giving the blue light from the forge which has nicely spilled out onto the floor this side of the forge door.
