What if AruAni confessed EARLY!???

This is assuming that Armin and Annie realized their feelings for the other early on (which personally, I believe they did, but didn't say anything.) AND also confessed during their later cadet days... Of course, they had been talking and interacting for months prior. This was something I thought up randomly a few hours ago and I had to write it down, SO HERE HOPE YOU LIKE!!

Armin would be the one to initially confess his feelings, and it would be after everyone had dinner for the night. Anxiously, he would ask Annie to wait a moment as she was heading to the girl's barracks, stammering his words... but Annie found it adorable, and let him collect his thoughts. Once everyone else is gone, he confesses.

Annie is SHOCKED. Her heart beats so fast that it makes her dizzy, her cheeks are as brightly lit as Armin's own. The boy expects to be turned down, but Annie is quick to reveal her feelings back... and the two merely stare at each other, unable to process. Eren would suddenly call out to Armin, asking him what the hold up is... the two blondies silently turn away and rush back to their barracks.

That following morning, Armin and Annie shy away from each other... that is... until Shadis makes them sparring partners. Annie is ready to collapse, this is all wrong! She wasn't meant to fall in love! Yet, when she looks into Armin's dark blue eyes... all she can ask is why? Their sparring session begins, and Annie easily knocks Armin down on his backside, and she gets on top of him and asks why again. Armin can't reply with words, so... he plants his lips to her own... and the two are mesmerized instantly.

Everyone SEES this and training halts, watching these two now embraced...

I believe this would change a lot in the story, along with Annie's goals:

There would be obvious tension between Annie, and Reiner/Bertolt. She would be constantly reminded by her past and how she aided in breaking down the walls years ago. In the end though, Annie will side with Armin over them... but subtly.

Eren and Mikasa would be taken aback by Armin finding a love interest in Annie, but they would be SO supportive of him, Eren even being jealous, heh. Mikasa would input how she noticed both of them getting closer and closer over the span of months... she didn't expect this kind of development. (She will soon be asking Armin for confession advice, xD)

Annie would debate telling Armin her ultimate secret, but she fears what his response will be... he developed feelings for the "false" her. The person she wishes she could be, that she has fooled herself into thinking she could become... but she's still a monster.

When the Trost arc begins, Annie refuses to let Armin out of her sight, demanding she stay by his side. So, she teams up with Armin and Eren's squad. Her reason is that Reiner and Berolt can handle themselves, having placed top of their class. (She also calls Eren an idiot as another excuse for her to go, which Eren is annoyed by but appreciates the help. Mikasa still tries to team up as well, but it plays out similarly to how canon does.)

As a result of Annie being there, while Thomas is still eaten, Annie manages to prevent Eren's injury by being more levelheaded. Thus, the rest of the squad survive. Mina thanks Annie, and Armin tries not to blush too hard (he fails, and blushes a lot.)

UUUHH, that's all I have so far T_T SORRY- THIS WAS JUST A RANDOM THOUGHT!! My brainrot came fast and I HAD to write it down... so maybe I will give more input on this possible scenario if anyone is curious? I get so many ideas with AruAni aaaaaaaaaaaaaa...

Us Batfamily fic writers need to get even more creative with the kind of tech the Bats use on patrol. I’m talking like ascending/descending tones in their earpieces to indicate incoming hostiles or attacks. Sensors and biometrics in the armor with read-outs in their lenses. Little metal clips attached to their back molars so they can engage comms or other tech hands free by clicking their teeth together a certain way. Gloves that lock a certain way depending on how the fingers are positioned so they can activate their gauntlets for a fall/slide. Magnetic soles to their boots that engage with a certain click command. Implants they can trigger by holding their breath long enough to indicate they need a rescue. Etc.

You know how in most fanfiction Peter Parker has like a ridiculously strong sense of smell? He usually is portrayed as having a nose pretty comparable to the average dog.

Medical alert service dogs are trained to look for certain scents to make their handlers aware that they are about to have a medical episode-usually well before it actually happens.

Peter could be a human service dog.

Just imagine spiderman being midfight with this gang or whatever and all of the sudden he's like trying to get this one dude to sit down or something because he's about to have a seizure.

Or he's helping some lost kid and gets him a snack because his blood sugar is tanking.

Or maybe while they're working in the lab one day he suddenly stops and tells Tony to take his migraine meds and Tony of course is like… why?? I feel fine??? And Peter is like no seriously. You about to be Miserable. Take your meds.

And he's right! And Tony is just like wtf?????

I thought of this while I when I was reading a fanfic and my service dog wouldn't leave me the heck alone because she knew twenty minutes before it happened that I was about to have a severe blood sugar crash.

Steve’s Home Economics class is doing the flour baby assignment this week which secretly Steve was the most excited for. He ends up paired with Eddie Munson who turns out to be to be a fantastic partner. He’s patient, loving, protective and funny. He even helped Steve come up with a name.The only downside is how accident prone Eddie is. They had to replace their baby twice before deciding that Eddie probably shouldn’t hold or be alone with them. He doesn’t know that it’s because Eddie is trying so hard to impress Steve. He wants to prove that he’s boyfriend material but ends up messing up. Steve is a good sport about it but Eddie can’t help but feel like he’s fucking up his chances. Meanwhile Steve has fallen head over heels for him and is fantasizing about what their lives would be like with a real baby.

Just something about the absolute goofball energy of the first, running into the megalomaniac energy of the second. I feel like President Loki would be all "I am here to rule and nothing's going to stop me!" and the Mobius variant would be confused but on board and also distracted by a dish on another table: "Oh yeah? arthur (prince of camelot) still has to study under a tutor bc yknow uther wants him to be very intelligent before becoming king or something bc its super important idk idc anyways merlin is doing chores in his chambers while arthur is squinting at a book and merlin eventually caves and asks him what he’s reading and arthur gruffly explains that its a collection of stories from greece that make absolutely no sense so merlin asks him to read them outloud to him. arthur of course teases him and calls him an idiot and asks how he could possibly help but does as he’s asked and reads the stories to merlin as he does his chores. merlin (being crushed under the weight of destiny and tormented by the prophecies that kilgharrah spews) understands the stories almost immediately and gets all excited and starts rambling about them with arthur. arthur is glad to have someone who understands so he can give something that reflects a hint of understanding to his tutor who accepts it and moves onto the next unit of education.

the thing is, arthur finds more stories in camelot’s library and brings them up to his room to read them aloud to merlin under the guise of completing his studies but really he just wants to watch as merlin’s eyes gleam when he understands whats happening and listen to him ramble on and on about them bc he’s gay. the stories stick with merlin though and he realizes that they’re cautionary tales, that the heroes who were told too much of their future doomed themself to fulfill them - that them fighting the prophecies led to their completion. merlin takes it to heart and gives a big “fuck you” to kilgharrah before forging his own fate and helping morgana with her magic and handing out an olive branch to mordred and now everyone can live happily and peacefully in an albion teeming with magic.

Oh yeah story idea: percy Jackson reaches his emotional/mental limits) (annabeth gets knocked down during a huge fight and nearly gets killed) and goes absolutely ape. We're talking hurricanes, earthquakes, a zillion exploding water sources, blood bending, poison bending, pounding rain, the works.

And it starts to kill him. Like eating too much ambrosia, his mortal body is burning up, too much power too quickly.

But through sheer force of will and the amount of divine energy he's putting out, he keeps clinging on as his body crumbles to ash, divine power building stronger and stronger and higher and higher.

And he accidentally brute forces his way into godhood.

And what would have been a true power reveal and two deaths, Percy being punished for his strength ala Frank, abruptly becomes a pseudo divine political drama, with percy at risk of any dozen horrific fates the frenzied council are slinging around (minus poseidon, who is also frenzied but unwilling to let his newly immortal son die) whilst dealing with all the ramifications of divinity and the new social strata of the immortal pantheon (and EVERYONE having opinions), all while trying to get back home.

But Annabeth survives because of it, so he can't really complain.
