🏃‍♀️🥉🏃‍♀️🥉CONGRATS TO MARY🥉🏃‍♀️🥉🏃‍♀️ My clients rocked her 5k last weekend. Mary is training for a marathon and spiced up her training with a few other road races. Mary has been following MAF - Maximum Aerobic Heart Rate Training with intervals and Pose Method Drills. She was able to take 30 seconds per mile off of her last year’s time. She ended up placing 3rd in her age group! Mary has been on a healthy and fitness journey - she has so far lost 88 pounds, some of which includes not listening to nutrition “authorities” and adopting a low-carb diet. I am pretty sure Mary is aging backwards! Maybe, if I can learn to fly I'll save myself from injuries! @Regranned from @gravity.run - @coach.ansku says it best (read below) ・・・ As long as you are concentrating on your landing, you are not concentrating on the most important thing: getting up off from the ground and moving forwards. Because that’s your goal, right? . How you land, is just a result of your movement mechanics. If you are landing in front of your body, it doesn’t really matter how you land. . Focus on pulling your legs off the ground and leading the movement with your hips and let the landing just happen. . The less time you spend on the ground the less likely you are to getting injured, because no one has gotten injured from beeing in the air! 到底,底限在哪? ─ 徐國峰

在鐵人三項界最常被宣之於口的一句話是:「堅持到底」。時常聽到這四個字,有時是教練在鼓勵選手、有時是父母在鼓勵小孩、有時是選手在鼓勵自己……每次聽到我都在想:「到底」的底限在哪裡?我們該堅持到什麼境界,是否該設定底限?
在不斷自問自答的過程中,我似乎得到了一個簡單的答案:我們必須先明確地自我設限,才能突破極限。
看起來答案很矛盾。但我試從我們已經進行了十二週的週期化訓練與姿勢跑法的理論來說明,希望能讓大家瞭解「明確設限」與「突破極限」之間的辯證關係。從週期化訓練的觀點來看,每一個週期必須先設定固定的強度,專心練四到六週之後體能才會有時間適應與進步;等身體適應了再設定另外一種的強度的框架,有耐心地等待適應,然後逐步變強。
這些強度,全都是建立在跑步這項運動的框架之中,不分心到其他運動(若從事其他運動也只為了轉換心情與放鬆身體)。不能說我一樣練T強度,每週是游泳、騎車、騎飛輪、跑步等一直換。不行,只能專練跑步。看似劃地自限,但就是要這麼練才能進步。而且,在跑步這個框架下又必須設定更加明確的框架出來。
跑步比賽的距離有很多種。從100公尺、200公尺、400公尺、1英里、5公里、10公里、半馬到全馬等。從空間的角度來看,我們一起設定了「半馬距離」的框架,這個空間框架必須先明確地設定出來,才能確認自己「突破極限」的方向;此外,從時間的角度來看,我們設定了目標賽事與十二週的訓練週期,才能開始進行週期化訓練。週期化訓練的概念,其實就是在時間上設定各種小框架:基礎基、巔峰期、比賽期或E/M/T/I/HM等強度。
所謂的變強&突破自我的極限正是在這些小框架之間不斷地循環之中所產生的結果,這種循環的過程(身體與心志同步變強的過程)需要先向下鑽營(跑步)知識,再來才能向上提升(表現),就像是一棵小樹苗需要先向下札拫才能同時向上成長茁壯一樣。
跑步技術也是如此,它是一種技藝的知覺開發,就像樹苗一樣;而不斷移動的樹苗是無法茁壯的!我們用PoseMethod的「關鍵跑姿」為正確跑姿設立了一個標準框架,只要離開這個框架太遠(例如腿尾巴)或太久(觸地到關鍵跑姿花了太長的時間),就會失去效率與提高受傷的風險。所以不管跑何種配速,我們都必須守住這個框架。熱力學中用一個詞彙來描述能量趨於發散與混亂的傾向:「亂度」(Entropy,又被翻譯成「能趨疲」);反之,若要聚焦能量,就必須刻意花用別的能量才能把趨向發散的能量「聚在一個特定的框架裡」。世間的事物若沒有設定明確的限制與框架,就會像蔓生的雜草一樣,不斷向外鋪展開來,能量發散是一種自然的趨向。
「聚焦」在特定的框架裡則是變強的關鍵,而全然的安逸與放鬆的狀態等於是讓能量趨於「發散」。UA這個挑戰營所做的是:把一群想變強的人聚在一起,針對同一場目標賽事一起努力,這種「聚焦」眾人能量所帶來的進步力量,我想大家都體會到了,我們現在需要的只是:鬥陣(台語)一起Fight「到底」,那是大家從一開始就共同設定的底限!We Will.
